My family & I had our vehicle break down on our way to vacation from Ohio and happened to be close to this campground. We are so fortunate that it was! The owner so friendly and took us under his wings as he knew that we had no vehicle nor supplies, food, etc. while we waited for the repair. The owner offered us ride after ride to the grocery store or restaurants to help us out! The day our car was ready, he drove us 45 mins away to go pick up our vehicle. This helped us tremendously!! If you ever get a chance to camp here, do so! The place is very quiet, friendly, and welcoming.

Peach Queen is a wonderful place whether you are stopping in for a night or a few days. They have wonderful grounds, with a large pond, dog run and bath house. It is a family run business and they are happy to meet your needs.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Only stay here if you have no other options. No WIFI. No TV. No water pressure. The pool was drained so no swimming either. The people are nice but nice doesn’t help when the 6-year old autistic grandchild has a meltdown because she can’t use her iPad or watch tv.

The rest rooms were filthy. The stools were unclean and the urinals were full. No hot water for a shower and they too were extremely dirty with cigarette butts and trash in them. The park has not been maintained. I won’t return !

Clean, roomy sites, dog area, very nice owners, full-hook, quiet, all for $40/night is a dang sweet deal! Perfect for a night or two! Great BBQ place for dinner, convenience store with great beer selection in walking distance, and gas stations nearby. We'd definitely stay again if we're in the area.

First time here - won't be last. Stayed one night on way back from Florida. Easy on easy off from 65. Level pull thru site. Very quiet. Pool was closed because of season but looked large and well maintained. Fantastic playground and large dog park. Multiple large gas stations for big rig fill ups. Didn't go in the restrooms so I don't know. Price was best on interstate 65. Thanks for the great stay.

Easy on/off the interstate. The sites are close and the bathrooms could use updating. Owners are very nice. Little pricey with no cable.

We stop here every year , for one night ,on our way from Tennessee to Florida . Not once in 4 years have I seen the grass mowed . There’s a large pond and nice swimming pool ( with no shade). The back sites seem to be permanent campers . This campground could really be nice . It has potential but needs TLC . The gentleman who owns it is very nice and friendly but he gets very little help from the rest of his family ( this is a family business) . Because he is such a nice person , we will continue to patron his business. We all need to help the small businesses!

We stopped here for an overnight stay. The campground is near Interstate 65 and easy on/off. Our site’s electric wasn’t working and the campground owner, Charlie came and fixed the breaker right away. He was very personable and easy to get to know. We plan to return in the future.

It was a decent camp ground and the folks were very friendly. Pros: It was right off the expressway but far enough so you didn't hear the traffic. It was very quiet. They had a nice lake, pool, play ground, and dog park. Cons: There were no picnic tables. The pool was closed for the season because there was a chlorine shortage. A lot of the campers seemed to be long term and most did not look well kept. The grass in the camping area was very long. There were no trees in the row we parked in. Out back, there were random piles of dirt and a big pile of strewn lumber. Summary: This has the makings of a very nice camp ground but seems to be lacking in overall maintenance.

A great stopping point off I-65 or close to Clanton. We are a family of 4 with 3 dogs. I was not sure what to expect due to mixed reviews. We were in the area for a gymnastics competition so we made reservations before we had a competition time. I called the week before arrival and changed my nights and asked if we could stay plugged in until after the awards were over. They were super accommodating. We like to pick sites by the playground so we can see the kids playing...energy needs to be used after long car rides. The dog park was great and there was a lot of open land so we could throw to our lab. ALL the grass was freshly cut. The kids wish the pool was open it looked great. They had 2 tables and chairs. The negatives as advertised the bathhouse was not in great shape but you can tell they are working on it. It says closed on the website but you can use it. We used our camper bathroom since they have full hook ups. The pull through campsites were tight and they did not all have pinic tables. There was a pavilion by the pond with tables. We would book again if we return to the meet next year.

Loved it here we had to stop to rest on our way home from Vacation they were so accommodating even though it was after hours. When we got up we could not resist the gorgeous pool we left late because we enjoyed ourselves so much lol! What a gem!

Staff is laid back , friendly, respectful, easy check in, pool clean uncrowded, grounds neat and clean. Not crowded now but the pull through are close, pretty level, it rained hard my second day here, no problem with standing water or flooding. Nice lake.

Perfect for our one night stopover. No frills, easy access 0.5 mile from highway just far enough away to limit noise, 4huge gas stations nearby, HUGE dog park that is CLEAN, super nice pool and playground.

We stopped for one night of our trip. I like the reservation system. It was very convenient for same day online reservations although it offered us only 1 site and that one turned out to be taken. The manager emailed immediately and offered another site which was fine. The pool looked good but the rest of the grounds were average looking. This looks like an old KOA. We walked to a local BBQ restaurant for dinner. There were other options within walking distance as well. There didn't seem to be any cable or wifi. Otherwise it met our needs. We would stop there again.
