Had an early morning test today. Because I pre-registerd online, it was a quick stop at the admissions desk. The specialist was friendly and professional. He then took me to the imaging center. From there, Eugene greeted me and explained the procedure. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. All portions of the test went smoothly. Because there were wait times in between the testing, I spent time in the main lobby or walked the halls. Between the volunteers and other staff members, everyone was so nice and made sure I was being taken care of. One volunteer even offered me a cookie! I had to decline because I wasnt supposed to have anything to eat.😁 Great experience overall!

The new “fast” area of the ER is just as slow as it ever was before the remodel, but now there is 0 privacy. You’re literally 2 feet from another patient on either side of you. I heard the patient next to me tell his wife that “(first and last name) from church is here, and she has (problem). I wonder why she hasn’t reached out. We should call (other church member) to get the word out.” Like, what the heck? I want to have an open conversation about my health with my provider, but I had to explain them knowing full well that several other members of the community could hear me, and I wouldn’t even know who was listening. The doctor was competent and compassionate. The radiology team was professional. But the curtain-walled stalls make you feel like cattle up for auction, there was no call button, and I had to listen to every other patient’s descriptions of intimate symptoms for over 2 hours. I’ll come back if I need to, but I hope they take some steps to protect patient privacy and modesty.

We were seen to promptly and all levels of staff were very caring and provided lots of information. Rocky the respiratory specialist was a particular comfort in a stressful situation, as she went above and beyond to provide treatment as well as bring some cheer with her great attitude. Dr Campbell was super knowledgeable and really took time to answer our questions and put us at ease when it was time to be discharged. Thank you team!

I went into the ER after urgent care turned me away after having heart arrhythmia, blood pressure issues, and electrolyte issues. Got in quickly which was nice. I was one of two people in the waiting room and so it wasn’t busy. The nurse was great. She explained evaluation and testing thoroughly to multiple patients; had a great bedside manner and explained aftercare steps and timeline. If people have legitimate complaints, there is a grievance process and it is important to file a complaint to create a paper trail for a particular staff member. You don’t help anyone by staying silent. Managers/supervisors need to know what’s going on. If there is true medical negligence, licensing board info is public record that you can look up and where can report a staff member to the board. This is a serious step and there needs to be a grievance in place we’ll before you consider taking this step. Now, if your nurse and/or doctor are doing a good job, please tell them. They don’t hear it enough and it positively reinforces the standard of care. Thank you Dani (short for Danielle I think) for being an informative, caring, and thorough nurse with positive attitude. You are an exceptional nurse. Thank you
