This was a magical place to camp. Our site was quiet and nestled right up against a huge Redwood stump. The showers were wonderful with great water pressure and temperature. Bathrooms were clean. The best of all was being in such a beautiful grove of Redwood trees. It felt like others were camped far enough away to have relative privacy. Special memories made there!

The customer service was wonderful from the moment we called for help getting two sites side by side, to our arrival and check in process, very easy and accommodating. The property is beautiful - there's even a creek trail that my dog and I thoroughly enjoyed every morning of our stay. The area was quiet, many sites are roomy and private, nice grassy area to play games - we will definitely stay again!

We stayed at Ramblin’ Redwoods RV Park this past week and loved it so much we decided to stay an extra day! The staff was incredibly friendly — they even brought us kindling for our campfire. The entire campground was spotless, peaceful, and truly magical, with plenty of space between sites nestled right among the towering redwoods. The hiking trail was amazing, and our kids can’t stop talking about it — honestly, neither can we! It’s the kind of place that feels special from the moment you arrive. We can’t wait to come back.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The kids loved the playground. There is a great play structure and horseshoe pit and all of the trees to hide in and run around. The bathrooms and showers were upkept beautifully. There's a nice little covered dog washing station, fenced dog run, and a laundry room; we didn't utilize these but loved the additions. They have a sundry section where you can buy any forgotten necessities. They really have thought of everything! My only mild complaint is that the campsites are fairly small and there isn't much privacy between you and your neighbors. We reserved a tent site with water access and the water access was in the neighbors campsite. So we did our dishes in their site, not ideal, but the neighbors were nice about it. All in all, we had a great weekend at the Ramblin Redwoods Campground. It would be a great place to do a group camp if you are planning a family reunion or class reunion. There are several group gathering areas, even with centrally located fire pits and lots of seating near the bathrooms and playground.

Easy 5 Stars! Large sites with HUGE Redwood trees to add privacy! The was our second vacation at Ramblin Redwoods - one of our Favorite campgrounds - Peaceful and Great proximity to Tidepools and Redwood hiking. Leadership team and people cleaning the sites are helpful and friendly. We appreciated our Amazon order being held at the office and delivered to our door (literally handed to us) after hours. We were out hiking and dinner out and a little nervous about theft ~ the Ramblin team went above and beyond! Great park - looking forward to visit #3. Ask about DVDs if you have a player and no StarLink - they have a huge selection you and borrow from for free.

We have pulled from Upstate New York to Tennessee and out to California and this is my favorite campground by far. Incredible views and such a great location, could stay here for months. Great service too.

We love the atmosphere of this campground - the redwood stumps tell a tale of giants that were growing here, now hosts to new life. The camping sites are generous. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms extremely clean. We will come again!

We had a 30 amp pull through site. Very level side to side. Good water pressure. Camp grounds well kept, grass cut. Onsite washers and dryers, you download an app, so no quarters or credit cards. Bathhouse was clean. Staff was very polite. My friends black tank was plugged and they let him borrow a snake to clear the clog. Lots of nearby restaurants and activities. Would definitely recommend if you want to explore Northern Ca.

It was horrific. The photos do no show how the tent camp dies have extremely LOPD road noise. The management was not willing to make any concessions. I absolutely do not not recommend this place for anyone in a tent. It is really only an tv park. Camp sites offer no privacy. Go elsewhere if you can.

Worst campground I have ever been to. They charge triple what all the other campgrounds in the area charge, we paid for it because we were on an extended trip and wanted the nice showers and bathrooms. We paid extra to reserve a specific campsite. They provided a map with all available sites. We picked a spot on the edge of camp very clearly surrounded by an expanse of forest. After paying we were told that one of the amenities we paid for (wifi) would not be available and that no refunds, discounts, or any other attempt to make up for this would be made. We show up to a tiny camp site barely large enough for a tent and instead of forest it was nestled right up againat the main highway, very loud all day and all night. Then, after we arrived and set up camp we were told that the bathrooms and showers (that we paid triple the normal rate for) were down for maintance and would not be available during our stay. They refused to reimburse us in any way. The management staff here are dishonest and looking to scam travelers, they were dishonest and sleezy at every turn. They even tried to blame many of they issues on us.

Good private campground. They were looking to hire additional staff while we were there, but those who were there were gracious and helpful. Quiet place, decent amenities. Not luxurious. Very close to Jededia Smith SP and Klamath, which has a good grocery store and gas station. Not far from Crescent City. Decent rates and lots of trees.

Beautiful experience their website however is not up to date .self-service dog wash is not working. There is no off leash dog hiking area around the river. And there is no beach within walking distance. But the atmosphere the people and the staff are wonderful. They have a little convenience store and firewood for sale there is no propane on site.

Parts of this campground are very pretty. Tucked into the forest. There are a couple pristine spots. Unfortunately booking a spot using the online map and actually arriving and seeing our spot was a disappointment. We paid for a 30 amp and the email came with a beautiful photo of a campsite. Thinking I picked the perfect spot we were quite bummed out. The cabins and playground was right next to us and the spots are not spacious at all like your site says. We couldn’t enjoy a campfire due to someone else’s camper being less than 3 feet away. And their kids parked their bikes on our side and constantly walking in our site. Kids at the playground was another reason we didn’t have a fire. They were screaming!!! Until 9:30! Some kids had a Bluetooth player blasting kids bop! Yes we came to enjoy the ocean and trees. But having a place to rest and have a meal and have some space, I would not recommend this campground. The photos are very deceiving.

My family enjoyed our stay at Ramblin' Redwoods. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was very clean, stocked with clean dishes and utensils in the kitchen. Even though the cabins are surrounded by second growth redwoods- the trees are huge, and the area beyond the cabins is a pretty mini-wilderness. Be aware that the cabins are a bit tight in space and that the upstairs loft has less than five feet of headroom. STILL very charming -lined completely with cedar paneling. Linens are top quality. A superb value for the price and they offer a discount to retired military. Highly recommend!
