This place is terrible. It is a run-down dump. The people were generally nice, but the "amenities" were tremendously unkempt. ||||We booked a 50 amp spot, and upon arrival, we met a nice employee who told us our rig wouldn't fit in our original spot. So, she re-booked us into a different spot, which was too small, and only had 30 amp service. ||||Not only that, when we checked in, there was a "boil water" notice. I asked the clerk about it, and she said that it had been in effect "since October". She was nice, but very nonchalant and dismissive about virtually everything.||||This place was overrun with full-timers who didn't take the least amount of care to keep their spaces neat and tidy. ||||Skip this place.

The office personnel is very friendly. The problem we had were the workers that stay at Ramona Oaks. We wanted to enjoy the pool with our family but every other word was F bombs. My son asked if they could tone it down because of the children and it just got worse. This is not a family campground.

Would not allow me to stay as my RV, is a horse trailer with living quarters, " no horse trailers", it was noted that is what I have when I made my reservation

This ain't an rv resort it's a RV park. We reserved a space with shade and were moved to a space that was blasted by the sun all day long in 100 degree weather. We won't be going back and I don't recommend this place to anyone.

My brother lived in this park 10/15/20 to 3/21. When he moved to AZ they didn’t refund his electric deposit. He gets the run around to call here or there. They say they don’t issue checks there on site. Apparently they don’t issue them period. He has contacted them at least 10 times to no avail. No matter what, if you are due to refund monies per your contract with a customer, do the right thing.

Maintenance of pool/Jacuzzi area was horrible, & only open 10 am-8 pm, & opening at 10:15, after I called, no apology. Some lights not working in bathroom/showers. Charging high rates with minimal services (trying to make up for COVID losses, like many RV parks).

Wow Robert Tessier and I managed that Western Horizon Park for 5 years then we rebuilt it after the Witch CReek Fire back in the late 80s. We had a one hour tour of the resort this morning. The park looks amazing. We gave them some history and shared memories. What a wonderful time we had.

Its nice and clean. But watch out for all the meat bees. The bees were horrible and unbearable.
