We love to eat at the pub! The food is always good, the staff friendly, the owners are the best! We love you guys! đź’– We are surprised that it only rates 2 stars! We have stayed here many times over the years, and stop by the pub for dinner fairly regularly. Always enjoyable!

The campground and site were amazing! Loved it and will recommend it to family/friends. The entrance, the road to the site, and the site itself wasn't big rig-friendly. The ground to the campground isn't flat which made it difficult to navigate a big rig (43 ft. fifth wheel) with low clearance. Hopefully, a simple explanation will help RV owners know ahead of time to reserve or not.

The facilities were great. The views were lovely. I went for a wedding, I'd like to particularly thank Jack (I hope I remember that right) the power went out for the whole area. Thankfully the team took care of everything with generators and power packs and averted a brides panic!

We had the best time staying in Fisherman's Hideaway cabin on our honeymoon roadtrip in November 2021. The staff- Katie, Josiah, and John were so welcoming and hospitable and the owner was a gem. The path down to the river is incredible. And the pub had delicious food! We can't wait to stay here again :)

Stayed the night here as we were passing through. The cabin we stayed in (Deer) was super cozy! There is a fire feature which really reinforced the warm fuzzy cabin feel. Kitchenette is right outside the front door which can be really missed if you aren't looking for it. Big grassy space behind cabin with a fit pit and seating. The pub food was good and the staff there were very nice! They even went out and turned on all the propane heaters for us so we could sit outside. Is highly recommend this place if you was in the area or passing through.

We stay in the cabins when we go here. Beds are very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. Other areas not so clean but it's not too bad. The location is great and the resort is beautiful. It's a perfect "base camp" if you're recreating in the area. Prefer this place to other places in the area.

Spent our first time in our 38.5 ft. travel trailer here. Pulled in at night in the pouring rain to find out the spot I reserved was for a 30 amp and we were a 50 amp rig. Thankfully Billie the owner was there and was kind enough to help us out. Staff was incredibly supportive and welcoming. Maybe they did WiFi upgrades because we purchased the upgraded option from our phones and had no trouble with coverage! yes can be a bit muddy in the rain- but it is literally in the forrest so what do you expect? Beautiful grounds with pull through and some more secluded spots. We will be back for sure. Not a 5 star because the ground was uneven and it was really dark there at night so it was hard to level the rig in the rain/night. But not a deal breaker- and we will for sure come back!

I camped there one nite in an RV. While this might be a nice campground when it is dry it is a dirty muddy mess when raining. The sites are horribly unleveled. The internet is a joke you get 250MB which does not even cover an app update on your phone. You are able to purchase more but the interface did not work. Barely a verizon signal. The electricity is shaky, it went out twice while I was there. What irks me the most is that it is rather expensive, $55 and they claim they offer a Sam's/AAA discount. When I made the reservation they immediately charged the full amount and said I get the discount upon arrival. When I checked in the lady flat out lied claiming they already applied the discount. Well they did not. I called the next day and the lady said she will look into it and call me back but never did. Terrible customer service. Next time I will stay at Richardson Grove Campground And RV in Garberville again, clean gravel and leveled pads and $20 with a PA membership.

Redwood is one of my family's favorite parks; it's a typical park and RV campsite with everything you'd expect. For me, what sets it apart is it's nostalgic feel. Even when we went for the first time, I got the sense that I'd been there before since it was so easy to maneuver around and very homey. The activities like Saturday night games and ice cream are fun and kid friendly, and they have movie nights and rock painting parties. I feel like the adults have more fun painting rocks than the kids. There are a few pull thru and full hookup sites, but we normally stay in one of their cabins, which are just simple rooms with the necessary amenities. The kids loved the pool and eel river quite a bit, but we left them with a care sitter one day to check out Shelter Cove which is a nearby black sand beach. We did some fishing there and had a picnic. We couldn't have had a better time! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
