My little family enjoyed our time in the caverns very much! There are a ton of stairs so we carried our two year old when stairs came up on the tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We took our time since it was just my family on the tour. The caverns are beautiful and interesting to look at. There is a lot of history the tour guide talks about and shows you such as small fossils in the walls you can see and touch. You can't bring a stroller in the caverns, there are too many stairs and a couple of tight squeezes. Tickets to the cavern can be purchased in the gift shop. There is parking near the cavern and large parking lots near the gift shop. We also played on the old school playground! Brought back memories for me and my husband. Restrooms of course if needed. If interested they do have camping grounds and a pool when in season. Cavern prices: 12 years and up $19, children 5-11 is $9, under 4 is free. Final note, check beforehand when cavern tours are, we didn't check and waited for over an hour for the next time slot, that is our fault. Anyway, go enjoy and have fun learning some new things.

Rickwood caverns was amazing! Mike was our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all questions that we had and gave great stories. He kept a smile on our face and even made the 110 steps at the end seem not so bad by talking to me during it. The manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. We camped there over a weekend and loved every bit of it.

A great park for a variety of activities. There is a nice campground with water and electricity hookups (and maybe sewer hookups too, but I'm not sure about that). There is a nice picnic area and a great swimming pool. There are trails to hike on with several geocaches to find. And a very nice tour through the caverns which takes about an hour. And if you just want to relax, you can do that too.
