My family and I stayed here for one night on a trip. When we arrived, there was nobody in the office during the posted times that they said they would be there. We had an envelope stuffed full of paper containing tons of rules waiting for use in a box. We pulled in and we were barely able to park our camper because all of the cars are parked on the narrow streets and the camp sites are very small. We spent about 30 minutes finagling and we were finally able to successfully park. Because of the small road, I squeezed my truck into the small campsite spot in order to give others room to park their trailers.  After setting up our trailer, I just had sat down to read the extensive packet of instructions and rules when a very loud and aggressive knock was heard on our door. When I opened it, the woman standing there and immediately talking loudly at me and stating that I could not park my truck on the site. I simply asked her to not be so rude and things then escalated quickly. She became very aggressive and demanding. Then her husband, who identified himself as “Bruce, the manager” got out and wouldn’t let me explain why I chose to do what I did. It told me I needed to know and follow all the rules prior to my arrival. When I tried to explain to him the circumstances he told me to pack our stuff and leave or else he would call the police. I was eventually able to get through to this man that was not really understanding the situation.

We stayed the night and pulled out at 10 am the next day. Bruce was assisting someone that had arrived and was blocking the exit in order to park his trailer. I found this quite funny that this man could break the rules and arrive at checkout time and effectively block those that were leaving.

I recommend reading all the reviews on here and pay special attention to how Bruce and his Wife reply to negative reviews on here. If you want to stay in a HOA type atmosphere where management wants to control you, this is the place for you, otherwise, choose somewhere else.

Management takes great pride in making this park incredibly clean and safe. Bruce is very friendly and truly cares about not only the park, but his tenants as well. I highly recommend this park for families! We stayed here for three months while traveling for work and it was by far one of the nicest and well maintained RV parks we’ve ever been to.

We just left Sacramento Shade RV Park after spending 2 weeks there. I cannot say enough good things about Sacramento Shade. I had researched multiple RV parks within driving distance of Roseville and chose Sacramento Shade which turned out to be a very smart move! This RV park is well managed and beautifully maintained. It also has many touches I usually equate with higher end parks that charge much more. You do need to know that, unlike many RV parks, the rules are rules (not suggestions). I have stayed at many RV Parks and to be honest, I am picky.  Sacramento Shade has few equals and none that I have seen at this reasonable price. I would have gladly paid more. Thank you Bruce, Carla, Lora and Cathy! Your pride in this parks shows beautifully.

It's a little tight for my 38' 5th wheel, but had no problem backing in and driving through the park. Sites are well maintained and clean! First trip for my wife and I from San Jose. 1st time ever Glamping for us. I would definitely come back.

Had a great 2 day stay visiting friends and family. Very clean park with very nice overnight sites. Manager is friendly and very involved with park maintenance and management. Will stay here again in the future.

We stay at Sacramento Shade RV Park every time we pass through Sacramento. It’s definitely the best RV park in the area. Very private sites, good dog run, each site has full hook-up and garbage can, very nice landscaping. The management takes great pride in the park. Definitely recommended.

Loved with the park had to offer, especially it was well taken care of really enjoyed my stay. Only issue is when I departed. Try to get in contact with the manager regarding the following the process of vacating my unit and this was back in August. Never got followed up on my deposit so it’s been roughly about three months I haven’t heard since I There can be an established communication soon, but overall, as I mentioned, I did enjoy my stay.

Very neat/tidy site with lots of foliage.
Lots are fenced and majority have grass and trees.
Showers/Toilets are clean and well maintained. Laundry facilities are great and fairly cheap compared to launderette.
Owner is very helpful and can accomodate most needs (I needed a 30A/50A adapter and was lent one).
Location is right off highway but campers inset on the park do not experience much traffic noise considering.
Would highly recommend.

The RV dump station ($20 if I remember correctly) doesn't have a hose spigot to flush your black tank. They do have a useless, permanently attached, suspended hose with some weird nozzle that can't be removed. It can only be used to rinse the pad. When I asked the absolute bundle of joy who worked there, how do I connect a water hose, he said "Your not supposed to!"
All new motorhomes have a black tank flush connection. Even with older motorhomes, anyone who knew what they are doing would run a hose in a window and down the toilet to flush the tank.
I drove an RV from Sacramento to Jacksonville FL, and back. Every single dump station along the way had a hose spigot. Not this place! And shame on you for asking! Wow, just wow!

This RV park is located in an excellent location. Bruce was very accommodating on two trips we have made to Sacramento.The office staff are helpful and friendly. The park is clean and each lot had a grass area for your pet. Lots of trees and shade. One of the best RV  parks I  stayed at, I will stay here again.

This park is awesome! The spaces are super nice, fenced in areas with plenty of shade. The entire place is well maintained, as the staff clearly works constantly to keep the grounds and facilities up and running beautifully.

The park itself feels very safe and comfortable, though, located in the middle of a "not-the-greatest" neighborhood. We never once worried about our safety, nor the vehicles'. The restroom/showers are super nice and the laundry room is awesome; EXTREMELY fair-priced with a nice big counter for folding.

The very few encounters we had with Bruce and his crew were nothing but pleasant, as were encounters with other guests. The entire 28 day-stay went smoothly and without a hitch. Will definitely recommend Sacramento Shade and would not hesitate to come back again.

We stayed in Sac Shade RV Park for a month while visiting the area and had an enjoyable stay.

We loved having a small, fenced in yard and grassy area all to ourselves. Our dog, Teddy, had so much fun running around in the large, clean and grassy dog park.

The laundry room, pool and onsite bathroom were always clean and well-maintained.

The campground and sites are pretty tight, so usually people have to move their trucks in order for you to get in, but everyone is very friendly and happy to do so.

The campground manager, Bruce, can usually be found around the campground. He's either beautifying the area, maintaining the greenery or pool, or chatting with other campers and is friendly to talk to.

It's not in the nicest area of town, but other than that, we loved our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Love the park itself. But they really need to clean up the street Auburn in the front. THE HOMELESS REALLY DIRTY THE PLACE UP. MAKE THEM GO AWAY!!!!!!

Nice, but not for overnighter. Spaces and driveways are very tight. Not a good neighborhood.

Great private sites with immaculately kept grounds. So cool to have a fenced in site with a yard. Management runs a tight ship and keeps this place looking great. Best looking RV park in the area.

This is a great place to stay.  Enjoyed our time there.  Only complaint would be the Highway noise.  Overall highly recommend.

Very beautiful Gem in the city.  Manager is super nice.  Tough but nice.  Can't wait to be considered a tenant!
