San Bernardino Dogwood Rimforest is a small unincorporated community located in San Bernardino County, California. It is situated in the San Bernardino Mountains, near the San Bernardino National Forest. The area is known for its scenic beauty, with lush forests, rolling hills, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The community is home to a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, fishing, and horseback riding. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, coyotes, and mountain lions.

San Bernardino/Dogwood

Beautiful place, perfect for children to play and explore. It's much colder than the surrounding area, so remember to bring extra clothes. Most campsites have electricity, but no water. There are public water points, so you can bring some water containers. Book four to five months in advance to get the spot you want.

Dogwood camping is pretty cool. Lot of trees and the smell of the fire wood burning and seeing the stars above at night, just chilling with your friends & having some beers and some barbecue is a must for everyone! The best part is.... no one bothers you & everybody keeps quiet around 10PM.
The restrooms and the showers are pretty clean as well.

One of our favorite campsites in SoCal! Beautiful and clean campground! Bathrooms are super clean and well maintained. Showers are free with hot water. Potable water stations are spread out through the campground.

The campsite hosts are friendly and helpful. The fire pits have a built in grill on them. Our campsite that I chose was huge with room for 3, 10 person tents maybe. I'm not going to divulge which one it is, but I'll say it's in the 80+ as a hint. There are trails nearby that you can explore. Firewood is sold near the entrance.

My only complaint is that some campers are very inconsiderate, especially during quiet hours which is 10PM - 6AM. Not a deal breaker but could get really annoying if you're a light sleeper. Overall, we enjoyed this campground so much that we plan on coming back! Maybe with more family members in tow.

What I love about dogwood is how close it is, only 45 minutes from my home and a very easy drive. Every campsite I’ve stayed in over the past 20 years has felt secluded and quiet, just the kind of getaway that you need, without having to drive hours and hours to get there. Bathroom is for clean, showers were clean everything I wanted and needed.

We stayed in site#12. When we made the reservation it was noted that it could be difficult to back into, and indeed if our 21ft trailer had been any longer, it may not have worked, but we were prepared, and we appreciated the advanced warning. But after a few tries we got it, and we were extremely pleased with the results!
Our campsite upon our arrival was spotless, and had clearly been raked and tidied for us.
The bathrooms were nearby, but not right next to. Restrooms were clean, not stinky at all, flush toilets and even soap, which is not always provided, but very much appreciated!
The campground itself was quiet and peaceful.
Fire rings were in good working condition, and water spigot was outside the nearby restroom.
Arrowhead village was a short drive away.
We definitely recommend this campground!😃

Our favorite campground with our little teardrop trailer. Very large campground with varied sites- tent to RV with electricity. Surrounded by cedars and plenty of shade. Grounds well maintained and staff easy-going and friendly. Jennifer at the front booth was very helpful. Lots of trails in park and nearby. We’ll be back multiple times. Only 2 hours from San Diego.

Gorgeous campground, with spacious sites that feel secluded and
are well shaded due to all the trees. Free hot showers, large bear boxes for storing food, potable water spigots, really nice fire pits with high sides and grill top that can be rotated on or off. Most sites are somewhat elevated and slanted however we didn’t encounter any issues with this and there was a flat area to setup tent where we stayed. Nice hiking trails nearby overall fantastic will definitely return.

We like this campground because it is clean, shaded, has hot showers and flush toilets.  Some of the campsites are spacious enough to fit three or four tents.  Hiking trail nearby to keep the kids occupied.  Also has open fire pit/ring for cooking.

My boyfriend, two dogs, and I stayed at Dogwood Campground at site 32 and had a great time. The campsite was super spacious with a water spout, bench, and fire pit, and there was a lot of shade which was perfect for relaxing. The restrooms were really clean, and we were surprised to find free showers!

The staff was really friendly. There were quite a few flies, crane flies, and a ton of moths, which was a bit annoying.

The only downside was that our neighbors were loud until 2 AM, and the hosts didn't enforce quiet hours. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again. It's also close to Lake Arrowhead Village and Big Bear, which made for some great day trips.

Location was perfect, our campground site #4. We enjoyed the surroundings,green trees, had shade and sunshine too.  Along with the fresh air, clean air, the quietness, the darkness at night. Made our campfire more enjoyable at night sitting around talking, laughing about our day in campground. Love the atmosphere, environment made us feel peaceful, relaxed, and safe. Clean restrooms, liked the sidewalks among campsite. Made me get around better with my walker. The hosts were helpful with any questions or information we needed.
Did not want to leave. We plan on returning again!
