My family and I have stayed here multiple times and every time we have a new unique experience that we hold close to our hearts. David, the host, has helped us each time have the best view and service. The park is close to local stores so my husband and I have been to take a nice walk to get groceries and have really enjoyed our new home in Pacifica. Thank you San Francisco RV Resort for always being so welcoming. Can’t wait for our next trip with you!

This is our second time staying at San Francisco RV Resort, each time we have had wonderful experiences. It is located in a good spot, close to a Safeway and many restaurants. Also being right on the ocean is relaxing and great for morning or evening walks. Another great aspect of SF RV Resort is the staff. David is so nice and always goes out of his way to make your stay the best. Highly recommend staying here!

This place offers fantastic views, but that’s where the positives end. For the price, it’s completely overpriced considering the condition of the property. If you manage to get a premium spot, you’ll enjoy stunning cliffside ocean views, but the park itself is run down and poorly maintained. Despite what the listing suggests, the property is not gated—it’s open 24/7. While the restrooms/showers require a passcode, they’re mediocre at best, with cleanliness and maintenance hovering around a 6/10. The overall atmosphere is disorganized, with run-down campers and RVs scattered throughout, along with trash and miscellaneous items lying around. It gives the entire park a neglected and unkempt feel. It’s clear they’re charging premium prices solely for the view, without reinvesting in the property or offering an experience that matches the cost. If the rates were more reasonable, this place might make sense. The only redeeming qualities? The view and the proximity—just 30 minutes from San Francisco. Otherwise, it’s not worth the price.

Decent RV park with hookups and shower house. Restaurants and grocery within walking distance. It's a bit of a climb down to the beach. Short drive to San Francisco.

Loved this RV Park! Located near San Fran and alongside the Pacific Ocean is why you stay here! The heated pool and hot tub were very clean, really like the fence around the pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were closed due to being updated and remodeled. A+ place. Everyone is parked closed together on asphalt... this is not a wooded natural area. You will be inches from your neighbor, that is what you are buying. The price is higher because of the awesome location! Nice work Thousand Trails!!!

Chose this RV resort due to its proximity to my present job location. Quick & easy commute downtown SF. Resort overlooks Pacific ocean, the views are incredible. So close, you can hear the waves throughout the day/night. 👍pool and jacuzzi are OPEN 👍NO dog breed restrictions 👍friendly staff 👍walk to shopping and restaurants 😠only one restroom/shower area open 😠very pricey weekly rate 😠asked for monthly rate to extend stay 3wks (job end date changed) was told rate not available, NOT because park was full or no avail space, was told too long a process, a lot of paperwork. For whom? 😠extended my stay week by week.

This RV resort is not a resort it is barely a campground. The lots are super close with no place to even open your awning to sit outside your RV. Yes…. the ocean is right close, which is nice but unfortunately you will not see the ocean view because you are packed in so close together you will only see your neighbors RV. The pool is extremely small and dated. The laundry is a good size with plenty of washers and dryers. The bathrooms are out of order because of a supposed rain storm. This campground is nice to park for a short period of time because of the proximity to the San Francisco area if you are there to visit. This park should not charge Trails Collection members an extra $20/night to stay here. Would recommend if you want to visit San Francisco area. Otherwise not much to write home about.

Pros: - Close proximity to the city!! 15-30 min (depending on traffic) is unbeatable. - It’s safe. I wasn’t worried about my trailer being broken into. - You wake up to the sound of the waves; you’re right on the water with beautiful views - Close to a major road so it’s east to get on the freeway - Simple check-in (and late check-in) - Reception on T-Mobile is great; Verizon is not great but okay - Free hot showers with decent shower head - Laundry has an app you can use to pay vs having to carry coins - Spa and pool! Cons: - The cost is just… wow. Crazy high and not worth the value. Definitely taking advantage of the location to charge more. - Glorified parking lot - spots are just stupid tight and packed in together - Traffic noise in the area is high! - Customer service could be improved - One (of the two) restrooms were closed - Not all sites have a picnic table (which we always use and is important for us) All in all, you’re paying for safety and close proximity to the city…… but it’s definitely a high price to pay. We thought it was worth it.

This park is right on the ocean. Sites are very close and were just long enough for our 42' 5th wheel. There is a pool and a small dog walk area. We reserved several months in advance and were able to get a site that had a grass island on one side, so we did have more room. There is a grocery store, drug store, post office and a fantastic bakery all within walking distance. You can hear the waves crashing along the shore at night. Walking trail down to the pier. Good cable, wi-fi, FHU. Yes it is a little expensive, yes the sites are close, but it is a great location. Right on the ocean and close to all the sites and sounds that make San Francisco famous!!! We would stay here again and make sure to get our same spot! 12/2014 ad’l comment: Pacifica, CA. San Francisco RV Resort. We have stayed at this park a couple of times since it is only a few minutes from my daughter's house. Yes, it is expensive and the sites are close together...but everything in San Francisco is expensive and close together! Even million dollar homes! The key to this park is location. You are about 15 minutes to downtown San Francisco, just a few minutes to a BART station, walking distance to an awesome bakery, great meat market, grocery store, drug store, hardware store, and many local shops and restaurants. You can walk along the ocean or walk down to the pier. The park is clean, sites are level, free cable, pool, dog walk area, nice staff. Get a pull thru with a grassy island beside it and you have more room...really makes a difference ( we had site #48). If you want to see the San Francisco sites this is the place to stay. We stayed here in a 42' 5th wheel with no problem. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

I think having an RV park by the ocean is genius, and they're my favorite ones. Most of them have really great rates and full hookup sites, and this one is exactly that. It's super pretty there, and my nieces and I love taking walks along the beach, or heading over to the golden state bridge. I must admit, the view of the ocean at sunset is amazing, and by far the best feature of this park. The amenities are pretty nice too. There's a clubhouse which the kiddos love because they always end up making a few friends to hang around with, and a hot tub which is really nice after a long day of sightseeing and walking about. We've actually seen some really nice sites, not just the bridge. Last time we made it out there, we got a tour of Alcatraz and Half Moon Bay which was cool. Everything is clean, especially the bathrooms and laundry facilities, and the prices aren't too bad; obviously it's better value the longer you stay but we never have time to stay a full week. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
