October 2025 -
We were in a pinch, needing to come into town from Three Rivers to charge up our batteries after finding an issue with our generator. We booked a site at 4 p.m. received confirmation 10 minutes later, and we were parked and plugged in by 7 p.m. We didn't have to check in with the office, as everything (space #, bathroom/shower/laundry room codes) was sent right to our email. There were a lot of rules listed on the consent form, but weren't enforced. In the days we were there we didn't see anybody working on the property and the office seemed to stay closed. Fine by us, as we didn't need anything. The spot was $50 per night, and although much cheaper than others and the area it was more comparable to $30 parks that we've popped into before. The showers were clean and open throughout the night, and other guests weren't a bother. The park backs up to a 6.8 mile shoreline bike/walking trail, so there are people using the rv park as a short cut back to the main road. Alot of reviews mention homeless people, but we didn't see any characters that gave us worries. Our cameras didn't pick up on anybody getting suspiciously close to our rig. Don't let the paranoid freaks in the reviews convince you that this isn't a "safe" place to be.

Staff very helpful and and accommodating. Dumpsters always full and overflowing. WIFI broken and unstable. Grass is dead. Spots are easy to access for large rigs. Park is quiet not to many problems. Changed ownership and waiting to see if they improve the park and fix the issues. I'd stay here again.

Do not stay here. There are transients in the park who the staff on duty confirmed steal from guest sites. There is a waterfront trail that has several homeless encampments. There is no fencing / added security measures. Half the park is dilapidated monthly renteling sites. The management will not acknowledge the situation when confronted. If you are set on Eureka then stay at Johnnys. Otherwise, Trinidad or Arcata are much nicer areas

Amberleena made me feel so welcome her customer service skills are over the top and she shows pride in her everyday work life really goes over the top to make sure you have the best stay. She keeps the office beyond organized and the bathrooms squeaky clean she’s the sweetest always has a smile on her face. I was over all impressed with the cleanliness of the park and how welcoming the staff made me feel I highly recommend staying here.❤️

ITS A TRAP!!   I reserved a stay at Coastal Pines RV Park (also known as Shoreline RV Park) in Eureka, CA, but tried to cancel within 24 hours. I never actually stayed there. Despite canceling almost immediately, I was charged in full and received absolutely no response or support. I called multiple times and left voicemails—no one ever answered or called back. I also sent six separate emails, all ignored. There was no way to cancel or dispute the charge, no check-in instructions, and zero communication. They collected payment, provided nothing in return, and refused any refund. My advice: STAY AWAY!!  (read the other reviews if you have any question about this place).

This place has two names Shoreline RV Park and Coastal Pines. I received emails from both. I’m assuming Coastal Pines is the management company.  It is awful. If I had read these reviews I never would have booked here. There are some really old RVs that are obviously living here. There is a path I was looking forward to walking on, but there are homeless and other sketchy people using it.  When we arrived a homeless guy was walking through the rv park and asked a guest for something.  Each site has long dead grass with a picnic table. There are very few trees.  We did not use any of the facilities.  We were gone all day and only slept there. We did not put out any chairs or anything in fear they would get stolen.  I did receive a call back the same day to make the reservation and received an email with our site number

This place is junk! Someone needs to do a welfare check on the manager/owner. Grass between sites is not cut and dead and dry! They send you 4+ pages of rules. When we showed up it is behind dmv thru a closed gas station. Our original email assigned us a spot. When we arrived we tried to check in, no one at the office. Called the number on the window, no answer. We saw in the email our assigned site, when we went to it, some junk rv was in it that looked like it was living there. We ran into another couple that had just parked and they said they heard you just pick a site. They also promised in the email to send a list of activities you can do and that they would email day of check in with further instructions,  none was done. There are homeless walking the path, no gate or fence to keep them out. I will not be staying here again and I am trying to find somewhere else so we can leave! They have not returned our call about check in! Plus is Target is across the street! But it really looks like since there is no supervision people are taking advantage and living here and not paying! Just squatting. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The place is a mess. It needs a big time cleanup. We never were able to find someone in the office. The garbage receptacle had overflowed and the birds had spread it around.

Expensive. Public shower is ok. Right next to Chevron for convenience. Usually, no manager on duty, you have to check in at a different park. Watch your things and vehicles as access to the park is free to homeless and other undesirables from the water front trail. I stayed here for quite a while and speak from experience. If you are looking for a short lay over in your travels, it's ok. But seriously, be vigilant with your things and vehicle. Many people have had property stolen.

This is one of the poorest managed RV parks that I have used in the last 10 yrs. I called on a Mon. to stay that night.  It took 4 calls that went to voice mail before somebody actually answered the phone.  The person said space was available.  When I arrived at the park at 3:00 in the afternoon, the office was closed.  There was nobody around to assign a space.  The grass had not been mowed in weeks.  Most all residents were long term.

I have to say that Jolene and the team at Shoreline and Redwood Coast (both really great places) has taken care of my wife and two pets with compassion and grace. We had a glitch when we arrive 10 days ago and they promptly took control and had us set up and relaxing in no time. No hassles. Clean everything and the dryers really work well :) Thank you for everything and we are already enjoying our stay at Shoreline! The bay and marshland are spectacular!
