This place is absolutely amazing. The staff, Rhonda and Beth in particular have been nothing short of spectacular. Their kindness, willingness to help, top tier professionalism, and genuine sincerity in assuring that I have the best experience possible has placed an indelible impression upon my heart and has reassured me that God still has some really good people left on this planet. I highly recommend anyone who desires to enjoy the great outdoors to stop by and visit for a time. I assure you, you won't regret it.

Wonderful rv park with lots of amenities- pool, jacuzzi, game room, country store, mini golf etc. in a beautiful high desert setting surrounded by mountains. Depending on where you are in the park, you may hear cars intermittently from the road and the trains that go by especially in section K but the sites are enormous and private so its very nice. Some areas like section N may at times have whiffs from the sewers but have a stunning view especially edge sites and best wifi up here. Its really a lovely huge rv park with nice bathrooms and showers, quiet and peaceful and it feels safe and secure as its also gated . There are mostly full hookups but there are some nice tent sites particularly along the river ( may be almost dried out in off season) and its also a good area to explore northern los angeles like universal studios and magic mountain eg. We particularly love to drive 15 min to Vasquez rocks - an otherworldly park used in several scifi movies - and we boulder/hike.

We really did enjoy staying here. Some sites are better than others which I believe you’re working on. We really enjoyed the quietness and watching the squirrels and Listening to the birds. The only downfall was the Pickleball courts. We wanted to play In the beautiful night, but the lights did not come on and the fence on one side is too low so you have to chase the ball. Other than that, we had a wonderful time keep working at it thousand trails

Thousand Trails is now assigning sites which is not good. I liked it better when we could pick our site. We arrived at 11:50am and we went to check in and we were told we had to wait until 12pm because that is the time to check in. Office staff was rude and not friendly the only staff member who was friendly and very helpful to us was Sage. Thank you, Sage!!!! We asked if we could have Amazon delivered and they said "yes" but we will charge you a $10 handling fee per package. That is crazy considering all they do is take the package from Amazon. Thousand Trails Soledad only cares about selling the camping passes not about the "campers". Weeds are so high and a ton of stickers. We have been coming here since 2007 and it was a really nice campground. This campground needs a lot of TLC it has a lot of potential.

went for my birthday weekend. when we arrived we were put in a space that had weeds bigger than my trailer. my husband went to the office and they moved us. put in notes we wanted to be next to family members but apparently that was impossible even though so many sites around were empty. section b is the worst section. train horns almost every hour. its really loud. barley slept the first night had to wear earplugs the rest of our stay. no service for Verizon in that section. also had a neighbor blaring music as security drove through. they did nothing. I asked security what time was quiet time and they told me 11. if you stay bring a rake, shovel, and earplugs. staff is nice and bathrooms are cleaned daily

The park is very big, view is good, can enjoy nice walk around. My site was at B area, which is not very good maintained. The worst thing is that trains passed always even in the midnight, and horn every time when there was a train coming. Could not sleep good.

Its a nice place to camp. The pools are huge and cold which is refreshing in the hot summer heat. Lots of seating by the big pool. Lots of movies to rent and games for kids. Down side not many campground activities planned out like the other thousand trails we have stayed at. But still a clean nice campground.

Not what we expected from a thousand trails property. We have stayed at a couple other that were beautiful. This place should be embarrassed. A third of the property looks abandoned and unusable. Upon check in at 12pm, we were advised we have no water till 5pm. We were out of fresh water after 3 prior days in Joshua Tree NP expecting to refill here. Another camper said he was notified the day before about the water, however we recieved no calls, texts or emails to be made aware. We did recieve 3 emails confirming our stay and 2 phone calls asking to become a member, but no calls about the water. 😡 The property is run down, poor site numbers and unlevel spaces. Campers are side by side with little room to open slides. We heard the neighbors kids running back and forth in their camper. Water didn't return for 8 hrs, no offer to adjust our rate. I spoke to the office and requested to speak to a manager, she took my number and said Brian would call in the morning. We never got a call. Wifi was an extra cost, no cable TV, no cell service. Tall weeds/grass. RV areas not maintained at all. Would not recommend, very pricy for a disappointing park.

This park desperately needs more navigational signage and clear site numbers. Finding my site was hard and I saw multiple rigs looping around trying to find theirs. Staff needs to be educated on how to use the new reservation system. They said it auto assigns you a spot and there is absolutely no way for them to manually change that even if there’s an issue so I was stuck in a site with electrical problems

THOUSAND TRAILS Soledad canyon - sites could be better maintained - tho their “New” area is pretty good - hard to get a spot as they now allocate sites ( used to be find your own) and seems the NEw area mainly 50amp ppl. Facilities are clean and there’s a large pool & spa. A lot of sites are very uneven - and the roads should be upgraded through the whole park - also watch out for goats heads with pets !

They ruined a good thing when they switched to assigned sites. Soledad has never been a great park, it's rundown and has lots of problems, but you at least had options to put yourself in an acceptable area before. Now a computer puts you into a site that hopefully works in your favor. Don't like the spot you were given, wanna camp near your friends, well too bad because all those nice spots you see empty for multiple days in a row are assigned to someone that doesn't get there for another week. Don't like being woken up by a train at 3am every day? Suck it up because you're stuck there for your stay and can't go find a quiter spot like you've been able to do for the past 30+ years. I've been coming to this park for many years and I'm seeing people placed in campsites no one ever chose on their own while premium sites sit empty. There are so many things that got ruined by switching from first come first served campsite selection, I can only assume corporate wants it's long term members out. This review is not reflective of the parks staff, which are trying their best to deal with this fiasco, this is corporate forcing a change that most members did not want. 1/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I remember going here when I was about 4 years old. There was a meandering little creek, man-made, of course. It was lined with cement, but it was slick. And you could slide down it, sort of. It was more like a scoot and float. The water came down from a water holding tank that was about 4 feet deep and the older kids were in there. There was no way in because the walls were too high to climb over for a four year old. That was 1966, folks. I can see that where the big kids pool was, there is now a finished pool or swimming pond

We have been to lots of Thousand Trails campgrounds and this was our last favorite. When we got to our site we had to pickup garbage on the ground and in the BBQ pit. Only saw one guy doing any clean up work in two days. Thousand Trails need to set some standards for their sites and enforce them. On a positive note the bathrooms were clean and the shower was hot.

The place is average for clean. The power here is terrible. Testing the voltage was as low as 90 volts. My Hughes Autotransformer was not able to get the voltage in range. So my power was off more then on.

We are Thousand Trail members. We love staying here. The only issue is staff. Britanny is fantastic, but sadly a couple of the men just do not have any customer service ethics. Seems to be a constant concern among visitors. You wally in office friendly and they are rude. They do not reciprocate kindness.
