Sonoran Desert RV Park

Probably the best laid out RV Park we have seen! I really appreciate how easy it is to navigate the park roads with a big trailer. Big sites, multiple pet areas, pickleball court, all the amenities, and super clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. There's not a lot of attractions or services in the area, and there is some aircraft noise, but the park is quiet day and night. And they have propane for sale.

What a beautiful place to stay for a while! Easy check in and as others have mentioned, it is clean and well laid out. The pool is heated and there is a club house where there is lots going on. Good sized laundry, dogs are welcome and the whole place is well laid out and nice to walk through. Not only the staff were very nice but the people who are there long term were very friendly. A really nice community in the desert! We will certainly be back!

Tranquility in the desert 🏜 This gem is quiet, clean and friendly! Owners and staff are super helpful with anything you need. Our fur babies loved the fenced off leash dog park. The sites are huge. We'll definitely stay here again.

Great RV Park, well maintained facilities. Security entrance, friendly helpful staff. Nice size sites full hook ups, pool, other activity areas, well maintained laundry & a dog park. Desert surroundings. There is noise close by. Is off a busy highway, train a mile away and an airforce base close by. None of this bothered us, it would depend The planes were cool to watch and base was far away.

We loved this park! We travel full time and most of the parks we have visited in this region of the country have been mediocre at best. But not Sonoran Desert RV Park. We chose here because it was on our route and was an easy day trip down to Ajo and Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. But had we known how nice the park would be, we would have stayed longer just to relax by the pool. The sites were spacious, grounds were immaculate, staff members were all very friendly and service oriented. Every building we were in was CLEAN. Best part for us? They have an indoor dog washing station! We stayed in the “pethouse suite” site 134 and it had its own, private dog park. The site was level and we had plenty of room to park our tow vehicle. Our rig is a 36ft motorhome towing a Jeep Cherokee. Do yourself a favor and stop researching parks in the area, just book here and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Scott and your phenomenal staff.

We are full time travelers, and this is by far one of the most well-maintained RV parks we have ever stayed. They are super friendly, and the grounds are immaculate. Not a rock out of place, not even kidding. The only thing I would say is make sure you have food, drinks etc., no good store for about 40 miles. We would definitely stay here again.

As soon as you pull up at the RV staging check in area you will notice just how well planned, neat and clean this place is. Check in was easy and the people are very kind, friendly and helpful. Don’t let all the info and rules scare you, it’s for good reason, this park is well maintained, clean and updated in working condition. All of our services worked flawlessly and our site (506) was neat, clean and perfectly level. This is a deluxe site and was such a pleasure to have. Worth every penny!! Staff was amazingly helpful. The facilities were so nice and we used the laundry and pool. Very dog friendly, plenty of dog park areas and if you want you can leave the back gate and walk out in the desert. Highly recommend the RV park, we will be back when traveling through this area. We are retired snow birds traveling in motorhome and pulling our car.

Only the second time in two years that my wife let me pick the park. She was IMPRESSED! Great facilities, polite staff, and a heated frickin' pool! Ticks ALL the boxes for a full-timing family of five with two dogs.

Great spot in the middle of nowhere with large easy in/out pull-through sites and easy hookups. Spotless toilets and laundry and friendly, very helpful staff. They have fast wifi that works everywhere and new high-resolution cable TV access. I couldn't get my old analog TV to work so they gave me a 26" smart TV and new cable to use for my visit at no charge. Definitively on of the nicest RV parks I have visited in almost 20 years and will be back it ever near Gila Bend, AZ again.

We stayed twice during one trip at Sonoran Desert RV Park. Very nice, clean, organized park. Clean showers, laundry and pool looks so inviting! Good dog parks. Signage is one of the best I have seen at an RV park. Staff very friendly and Monty was great guiding us to our spot. We look forward to another stay there and highly recommend.

What a nice park !! Clean, well maintained. Nice spaces. Good signage. We were just overnight and the overnight row idea is great. I can see it is an area for off roading so I see how folks stay in this park for longer periods. Friendly staff. Very nice dog park.

We recently spent two nights here and had a fabulous time. The grounds, community rooms, and bathrooms/showers were immaculate. (I loved the music playing in the bathroom/showers). The check-in process was simple and the super-helpful staff guided us right to our site afterdark and in the middle of a nasty rainstorm. I especially liked the tables at every site and the pool. The owner and staff take great pride in creating a clean, modern, and peaceful place to stay. The location right off the highway and close to a gas station was perfect.

The park is located a few miles east of Gila Bend. There is pavement all the way including inside the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are in very good. condition Our site, 604, was a gravel based pull through that was very wide and very long. Services (30/50 amp, water, sewer and cable) were to the left side. Distancing is very good for a rural park. Most sites had a Young shade tree as a privacy barrier. Each site has a table but NO fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was clean neat and tidy with a very minimal amount of dust for a desert park. The park included wifi worked very well but we did not access the cable TV. We did not use the washrooms or showers or the pool but we checked and found them modern and clean. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. The resort amenities are numerous. The pool looked amazing. Pickle Ball is obviously popular. There are three dog runs including one with real grass if that’s what it takes for your dog to do it’s business. We found this park to be a very nice overnighter. We paid $60.00 per night (inc tax) and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.

The RV Park is amazing. They are super friendly and take the best care of everything. All amenities are top notch and always clean. Monty the maintenance man is the best. Always stops what he is doing to say hello and to make sure your enjoying your stay. He also has a wide variety of cowboy hats he wears lol. Highly recommend this park

This is a nice RV park! Well kept, nice people run it, and quiet. We enjoyed the patio and dog run in site 200, which is quite a large site. The only thing it might have had to improve it is a gas grill. The charcoal grill was clean and serviceable however. Make sure you bring adequate food supplies as it is slim pickings in Gila Bend. Not much there.
