The resort appears to be beautifully maintained. The grounds are immaculate. They are very serious about the rules. I was surprised to find out that they were enforcing the $25 early check-in fee since it was after season and there were plenty of sites. I was told if I didn’t want to pay the fee to come back in an hour. I sat outside the resort on the street waiting for the hour to pass. The laundry was very reasonably priced. I couldn’t tell you if the restrooms were clean as when I went to check out, my code had already been turned off. This was a bit annoying as I wanted to use the restroom before I hit the road in my RV.

We stayed at Southern Utah RV Resort for one month. It was the most delightful place to stay. I was greeted in the office with a warm welcome, with a tour of their club house which is beautiful. Bree was so nice to welcome us as part of their family for the month. We went to Zion, Snow mountain, did the walking tour in St. George, Red Hills Desert Gargens, and drove to Kanab to visit where Gun Smoke was filmed. Happened to be a driving tour as well with other attractions to see. In the evenings (Rosie) who is in charge of the activities at SURVResort had lots of good stuff going on. We made Spudnuts (donuts) oh so good, Thank you Rosie! Played 10 penny card, and she has lots of other stuff on the calendar. If you love puzzles myself and others worked on a 1000 plus piece puzzle which will be framed and posted in the Club house, go start one and see yours posted...Thank You Southern Utah for the enjoyable month stay. Year and a half resident at this park. Management changed about as frequently as the monthly rate did. 1150 a month now? Good luck SURV. Loud highway noise, laundry room filled with hair and lint, and the highest priced electricity in the state. Really enjoying my new park for about 500 less a month with a lot more amenities.

We stayed at this park for 4 days, and our observations are this: Arriving Thursday and departing Monday, we never saw the bathrooms cleaned, nor the pool. Both were filthy. I slipped and fell in the ladies' bathroom, and the floor was GROSS. Two days later, my granddaughter dropped her towel on the floor, and the amount of black on it was staggeringly shocking. There was more hair (dark red and black) on the floor than I am comfortable with ever. And the water pressure was nearly non-existent. Not to mention that the water smelled sour or reclaimed. Which we know it wasn't, but why did it smell bad? The pool had a lot of dirt in the bottom and in every corner. The kids' area was slimming slippery, and the area by the pool cover was gross black with dead skin cells and what every else swimmers bring with them into the water. This could be a cute park, but it needs care. One last rant: If you advertise smores at the fire pit, someone should at least show up to explain why they aren't going to be available. The whole stay left us, not wanting to come back to this park.

This has been my favorite park in all of Southern Utah and I have stayed at all of them for a month or longer. All the amenities have been up to par! The pool was clean and refreshing in the heat. The showers were good! They had some water pressure issues but the shower heads were then replaced quickly. Marysa was exceptional. She was so quick to answer any questions we had and checking in was so convenient with the map to our site was ready for us upon after hours in a little station in the front! I believe Brevin was the landscaper I had the chance to talk with and he was extremely kind and willing to help us with any requests we brought up. The only downside I have with the park is the location. It’s much better with the new Freeway wall, but you can still hear the noise at times. Overall I can see why they won the Best Of Southern Utah gold medal.
