Very service animal friendly. My service dog was with me pool side the entire time. No one complained. Awesome!

Great! We stopped midweek in late April and it was so peaceful and well tended. Didn't really use any amenities. Dog- friendly đ¶

We visited Stoney Brook on the first 70 degree day of the year but it was April 1. For the most part campground was closed but still taking campers. Maybe 4 campers in whole place. First time taking out our new RV. It was quiet, clean and a relaxing visit. Would definitely go back to see what it was like when people were there.

A beautiful, quiet, peaceful location. No loud parties or rude neighbors. The folks who manage the place are wonderful, and went way out of their way to make me feel welcome and help me out with anything that came upâthey lend the place a great vibe. I stayed during the winter months, which could have been uncomfortable, but their common-use facilities are clean and inviting, and it's just a quick walk to the main office building where the bathrooms, laundry, game room, and other facilities are located. Will definitely stop through again next time I'm in the area!

Called in November to try and empty the tanks on my camper before they freeze. I was informed by the staff there is nowhere to empty a tank except for on a site. I asked to pay for a site for the night so I could dump off and I was rudely told they were full and didn't see an opening anytime in the future cause they were not looking in the computer for me. I was then told to figure it out like I have any other time I used my camper. Rude, obnoxious jerks. Rving is supposed to be a community of people who are willing to work with each other and help one another. Worst experience since owning my camper.

First time taking the camper out of state. Knew we'd love the Lehighton area, as we'd been tent camping in the past. This campground is worth checking out. Spacious sites, surrounded by a wooded hillside. The owner is friendly and helpful. He's been working at adding to the beauty of the grounds, as well as the comfort of the guests. Clean public bath rooms and showers in the main building, by the in-ground pool. A game room for family fun during dreary days (takes quarters). Bingo and movie nights, on occasion. Electricity and water hookup at each site. Will definitely return.

I'm commenting on BJ C's review, the speed limit in our wonderful campground loaded with wonderful families with kids playing and doing activies organized by the caring staff, is posted at 5 mph, also there is a Do Not Enter sign posted that obviously you can't read. I was with the concerned fellow camper that came up to you to confront you for driving over the speed limit and going through the " Do Not Enter" sign. He very nicely said to you when you leave, pull out on a angle." We also noticed that your jacks were not up all of the way, which could have contributed to your issues. While we were there, we had not noticed any septic odor in the vicinity, nor did you comment to us about that.

Poorly graded site and septic smell. Our site g2 had enough of a dip between the road and the back in site that I destroyed the rear jacks on my trailer. When I mentioned this to the staff selling me firewood they just shrugged. Later in the evening someone came by and said that I should have backed in different but "because I was Canadian" I didn't know that. He then proceeded to make fun of the last Canadian family that stayed with them. I'm pretty sure the grade, not my nationality, was responsible for the damage. Neither person I spoke with demonstrated any empathy or concern over the incident. My campsite and the 2 nearest to it had reoccurring septic smells that forced us inside the night we stayed.

We have been going to Stoneybrook for about 3 years now. From the first time we were there, we felt like family! It is family run campground and they always remember our names, who we are and whatever we spoke about last time we were there! They are a smaller campground, but still have all the amenities/accommodations of a larger campground, but is much quieter and relaxing. Every holiday they have a party with free live music, games, tournaments and the greatest food. They are always having an event, whether it's a wine and cheese party or a big bash! The facilities are the cleanest we have ever seen! When ever you walk in the bathroom or laundry area it smells like bleach...very clean...always! One time we called there wasn't any availability and Cheryl said if someone cancels do you want us to call you. Of course, we said yes!...and low and behold there was a cancellation and she did call us! Great place...a must for all!!! Jen and Gary

Very nice campground. We've been here year round for two years and are very happy. Jonathan has been very responsive to our needs. Great location in beautiful Carbon County and always getting better. The campground is close to Lizard Creek an approved trout water, the Appalachian Trail and State Game Land 217. Come visit you will be glad you did.
