Nice small park of 80 sites. A pull through and LEVEL with good space between neighbors and large enough to leave hitched. Cows grazing with nice path around a pond. Small cement slab without picnic table, fire ant mounds everywhere, no fire ring but one along the pond to use, a very nude community space with patio furniture and grills. Another with roof patio to relax. Laundry and bath rooms adequate. There is road noise and train in a distance. but not too bad. Busy air traffic also. All and all a nice place to take a break and spend the night after a day of traveling. Overnight stay only. We have a 40’ fifth wheel Solitude. Safe travels!

Backyard RV Resort is a nice stop. Easy access to the Interstate with a truck stop directly across the road. Nice level pull through sites with plenty of room. Montgomery is about 5 miles with many historic places to visit. They a fishing lake and a very nice front loader washer and dryer laundry. The dog park is great and everything is clean and orderly here. The management staff are cordial and willing to assist your every need. Propane is also available. We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here and plan to return someday. The WiFi is good and satellite friendly.

We had a fantastic time at the Backyard RV Resort!!! The managers are wonderful... I would recommend a playground in the future. It's quite and relaxing.. If you have time to stop at Alabama Safari Park I highly recommend. You are only 17 mins away.

We had truck trouble so we pulled in early and office was not open yet. There were plenty of full hookup pull thru sites available and plenty of space between any neighbors. We just pulled into a site and registered and paid online. Debbie called when office opened and welcomed us. We were able to get truck repair done and pull out next day. Would return if near again.

We have stayed there for 4 or 5 years. We will not return. They are overpriced 59.00 with a 10% discount. The park is full of ruts (you can hardly walk). There are no tables at the sights. The dumpsters are 50 feet from where you can pull up and you have to try not to fall due to deep ruts. They don't pick up you trash. It used to be a nice park

This was a very nice place to stay. When it.rains the place is very muddy. Going into and out of park had big potholes. Make sure you have quarters if you plan to do laundry as no change machine. The place was clean and well kept. Good phone and internet coverage.

There really isn't anything bad to say about this place! It's obvious that they are in the process of making changes. We had site 402. It was pull through (I think all or most are here) and more than long enough for our 44' fifth wheel and F-350 truck. It was a gravel site, but you could tell it was new gravel and fairly level. There was a pavilion with tables and grills and another unit that was clearly in the process of becoming something. 🙂. We did not actually talk to anyone in the office. We were prepaid and had already received an email with site assignment, then the office was closed on Sunday and until after we left on Monday. The only negatives I could offer would be that it wasn't the most quiet area, but that was road traffic, nothing that the park could help. We all use some sort of white noise to sleep, so it wasn't a problem for us, but if you don't use white noise, you'll hear road noise. The cable TV wasn't great. We hooked it up, but many channels were fuzzy. We unhooked the cable and watched the over the air channels and those came in much better. The wifi was terribly hit or miss. It would be great, then just drop off into non existence...lol. Not a big deal for us, just sometimes minorly frustrating. Again, I can't really say there wasn't anything wrong with this park. It's, as of now, no frills, but it was a good place to stay for a couple of nights.

This is a very nice RV park. We were scheduled to stay 3 days so my husband could go into the office, but we ended up staying an extra night, no problem. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The facility itself is a work in progress but they are working hard to make it great. The bathroom building is clean, there are several laundry machines with a chair and a TV, the shower stalls have real doors and locks so ladies can feel safe to shower. Currently, the sites are gravel pull through, large enough for a 40 ft rig or a smaller rig and a towed car. Rows 300 and 500 have concrete patio slabs but the rest are just grass. There are no picnic tables or fire pits at the sites but they have a beautiful covered patio that has 4 grills and patio furniture for community use. So if you are only there a night or two you don't have to unpack. Nice. There is a pond in the back of the property with some large fish and they will have some fishing equipment for use, soon. There is a swing and picnic table and firepit near the pond for a wonderful day by the water. The entire property is fenced in except the entrance which will be getting a gate with a security code. Although we were near the front and never felt unsafe. There are several fast food restaurants within walking distance and a couple of gas stations. The current dog park is small and since we had a lot of rain it was fairly muddy but there are dog stations in the corners with ample space to walk larger dogs. My guys loved dipping in the lake. When we return to Montgomery we will be back. THANKS for a wonderful week.

Sites were a good size. Campgrpund very clean. Looks like they are in the process of leveling the sites with gravel and adding some type of cafe area. Restroom building looked very nice from the outside, didn't use because we are self contained.

Wonderful campgrounds nestled back in the woods! My kids loved getting to play in the “backyard” and explore around the pond. Lovely little outdoor patio area, great laundry room, and all around a wonderful place to stay!

Nice RV park off of I-65. My husband works remotely and we were able to get good enough reception on his mobile router here (Verizon). The park is really well taken care of, and the management is very friendly. They have a nice bath house and new laundry facilities. My favorite part about this campground is the outdoor pavilion. They let us use the propane heaters in the pavilion and the grill. I used the pavilion alot while I was there so I could paint. I would recommend this park while passing through Montgomery

Peaceful park with huge sights huge grassy areas on every site beautiful stocked fishing pond no license required. The owners just updated the office area it turned out great and they are putting in a store to have accessories for everyone also and also the grocery stores less than a mile away plus fast foods if you're into that kind of thing. There are so many pieces of history in this little town that we have to come back again to see everything. Great owners
