I came from father's day weekend 2026, with my family and and we left after staying only one night. We had decided to tent camp. The majority of the tent sites here do not have shade, The ones that do not have fire rings. There was a vast amount of garbage spread around Especially on the beaches. The camp hosts did nothing to mitigate the exceptionally loud music and tent campers using very large obnoxious generators. I was screamed at by some lady with no teeth for driving too fast. Even though the posted speed limit is 5 And my car's digital speedometer said, I was driving 4. And for some reason on Saturday, they turned off the water in the middle of the day to the tent sites. There was only one portable toilet all of the tent sites, and the bathrooms with showers are clear across the park. I have been a thousand trails member for a number of years. Now, this is by far the worst experience i have had with them.

The stay here wasn't great. They only have one portable toilet in the tent site area. Only a few of the tent sites have fire rings and unfortunately we were unable to get a site with a fire ring. Every site also does not have a picnic bench. It is nice to have the river for kids to play in and to do some fishing. It is also very close to stores and restaurants which was also nice. I will say the two ladies that run the place are very nice and easy to get ahold of if you need anything

I stayed here in a recreational vehicle. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and all things considered the park is well-maintained. I (and I'm sure other EV owners) wish that they would enter into an agreement with chargepoint to establish an electric vehicle charging station here. Currently, there's a Tesla model s as well as a cybertruck owner staying here at the park. I too would like to be able to charge my PHEV at the park as well.

Great park. Pretty busy in early March already so get your reservations in as early as possible. Great camp hosts and personnel. The 2 lane road coming in and out is pretty tight so beware.

We came to Turtle Beach for a short 21 day stay while we had doctor visits. I was informed I needed cataract surgery before I could drive anymore. We used up our 21 days and didn't know what to do for the next 2 to 6(?) months because we are full timers. I though we would have to do an annual space. Lyra and Pat suggested we stay month to month which I didn't know we could do. Durning our 4 month stay we had a most wonderful Christmas party with a lot of the other campers at Turtle Beach. Pat and Lyra were there during our crisis and were a GREAT HELP. Mike who also works there helped with setting up the Christmas party and cooking the turkey. He keeps the park in top condition, we'll groomed and clean. We want to Thank the crew here at Turtle Beach for being there, when we need them. Bradford and Laura Hoyt

Great facilities, clean restrooms & hot showers, plenty of available spaces, and fairly close to major grocery stores & fast food outlets. We have a monthly plan for all Thousand Trail sites and stayed at this one for 3 nights and will definitely come back again.

Staff is very accommodating we only had water and electricity. but they were able to get us full hookups after just a couple of days.

We were asked to move after being fully set up for hours because staff gave us the wrong site. The staff member then tried gaslighting my husband into thinking she told him the correct site, when in fact she had directed him to the wrong one and even colored it in on the map they provided. Furthermore, they didn’t apologize nor take accountability for their mistake and simply offered a fake apology for us having to move. The campground itself was okay, but the service was unprofessional and disappointing. Bathrooms reminded me of the Joint Andrews AF Base Famcamp — which, if you know, you know. Overall, the experience left a sour taste, despite our many positive stays at other Thousand Trails locations across the country.

We had a really great stay at Turtle Beach. The staff is amazing. Deb, Lyra, Pam & Mike will help you in anyway they can to make your stay comfortable. The property is a hidden treasure. We will return again on another one of our adventures.

Great location on the Sacramento River. Had a great stay at this Thousand Trails Resort. The weeds were a little overgrown on the beach areas, but other than that, it was great. Definitely bring a pop-up because there is no shade. They have various sites for RV and tent camping. Amenities include restrooms and showers, parking area for watercraft, free wi-fi, and a lodge. No laundry facilities. I will be staying here again.

This is an RV and camping area alongside a river. Folks come to tent camp, fish in the river, and enjoy the calming sounds of running river water. Our stay was initially disappointing due to the unavailability of a space with any RV hook-ups. However, we were able to park next to the river and let the dogs romp in the water. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs to the absolute best of their abilities. We did cut our planned 2-day stay short to 1-day but it was an enjoyable night's stay.

Really nice and beautiful camping side by the water. It’s day and night. You can also rent it for weeks and months. But if you have kids, there’s no playground or pan area for the kids.

This site was beautiful siren , quite , peaceful ,mellow and down to earth.I recommend this site if only the boat ramp was open and maybe a pool area or activity of some sort was built it would be totally worth the money! Service was extremely Nice and welcoming I enjoyed the ride and the tour of the site had brunch by the water on picnic bench .Very clean and well kept sites!

Magic Mirror Gallery

This is one of our favorite TT locations! Super neat and tidy, Lyra and staff are very active around the park and sweet as pie. The park is so well kept, pedestals always working, no stepping in dog poop! Great activities when appropriate, Magic Mike is always mowing, keeping things so trim. And if you're in a booking jam,.you can count on Pam! Lovely lake on the premises, Grocery Outlet and Food 4 less within 15 minutes drive.
