The museum was great. The sites were clean. The picnic table at our site was extremely warped. It was full apparent that the bathrooms had not been cleaned for days. One of the sinks leaked and one of the toilets would not fully flush. attached is a photo showing their cleaning sheet. Note: I took this photo on 5/31 and the most recent cleaning was 5/27

This is a fantastic quiet and peaceful park. We walked over to the Rocket & Space Center from our campsite but we would probably drive next time. The walk back to the RV seemed sooo very long after a complete day touring the center. The park was a city park with a country feel. Trees, grass and wildlife. We had an owl in the trees by us. All sites are paved ... a bit of easy leveling needed. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are hot. A tip may be to call ahead for the bathroom code since the office runs limited hours. All in all an A-one stop.

RV Park at the Space and Rocket Center is old and worn. Sites are not level; front to back or left to right. Sites are very short, my F350 and 40' Montana barely fit into the site. Infrastructure is clearly worn out. The picnic tables at the sites need rebuilding - or in a perfect world complete replacement. Worn out, leaning, rusted. Only 30 amp power, today's standard for years is at least 50amp. Water is fine except the piping is buried in the ground. Waste line connections don't fit standard adapters. One washer and dryer available 5 hours a day is unsatisfactory. No WiFi is preposterous. Price is pretty cheap for the sites, but remember, you get what you pay for. Location is great for access to anything in Huntsville. Obviously access to the Space and Rocket center is simply right next door. Overnight stay at best, wouldn't consider much more.

Campground is in an ideal location relative to things to do and see around Huntsville. Sites are paved but very much showing their age. Full hookups are much appreciated but power pedestals are rough and only provide up to 30amp. Water connections are in the ground and can be a little bit of a challenge to tie into but thankfully it has workable pressure. Driveway is badly potholed and muddy, no way to dodge them all especially in wet conditions. No camp store but good, if dated, bathrooms. Will stay here again but hope some updates are in this campground's near future.

The sites are VERY unlevel and will require several blocks under your tires to try and level your rig. However, the bigger issue is the electric is not very consistent. Even though it says 30amp there were times that we were only able to draw 15amps. The only positive is that it's walking distance to the museum. I recommend you avoid this place!

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center Campground could be a great place to stay. The staff is friendly, the prices are great ($30/night when we were there – Feb 2023), and it is a great location. That said, it needs work. I didn’t see any sites that were level. The site we were in flooded any time it rained (site 14). The roads within the campground are washed out and covered with potholes. The water connections are underground. In our site I had to dig out six inches of mud, worms, and debris to get to it. They only offer 30 Amp service. There is no Wi-Fi, no cable, and no pool. The adage “you get what you pay for” definitely applies here.

Convenient RV park, but needs to be updated. Huge potholes in the road and our site is impossibly y level due to years of shifting the asphalt. The picnic table is unusable. We are in site 27…avoid this one. Other sites look to be ok though. It’s a no frills park, which is ok with us, but please fix the road and sites!

Excellent museum. Take the guided tour if you can of the Saturn Rocket building. It was excellent. The VR experience was also great. You feel like you're in the capsule taking off from earth and landing on the moon. It's not very long, but it was very cool. We also watched two different planetarium shows. Both were great.

Beware of Mr. Wilson, the campground host. We waited until checkout time of 12pm to leave and this guy lost his mind on me and my wife. It was everything I could do to keep my composure. I’ve never been treated like that as a paying customer of anything. He cussed and shook his finger at me and was extremely rude to my wife. He said “the paperwork doesn’t matter” referring to the check in and check out times. There were other people on the grounds who said I’m not the only one who has had a run in with him. He’s a walking lawsuit waiting to happen.

The rv park was just average until the power went out at 5:00 pm on a Saturday night, no camp host, no one in the office, the emergency number posted on the office door goes to an answering machine, no one returns your call. Still Sunday at noon and no electricity. We are leaving a day earlier than we wanted to, do you think they'll give us a refund? I think not. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Beautiful park! We enjoyed the area and the space and rocket center very much ! All sites look nice and on a rolling hill. The only bad site is no 15 ! Down in the bottom and water was everywhere due to much rain. The water connection was under water. The pad was level and easy to back into! We will definitely come back. This was my review 4 years ago We have been back several times This time we found that the roads had deteriorated terribly Big potholes and the edges had deep drop offs! Not exactly easy for folks pulling Rv rigs in and out Very disappointing that it is not being kept up!

Stayed at the campground for the night passing thru. Bathroom clean, sites nice but roads need a lot of help. A small child could get lost in the pot holes

Very quiet and relaxing considering the freeway is so close by. They seem to be all back in sights but somewhat spacious. But all in all it seems to be a very nice park bathrooms and showers are extremely clean
