We had site 4, it is paved and mostly level, we easily fit our 33ft fifthwheel and truck in the spot. Space center is great and downtown is just a few minutes away to walk the park and shops. We had full connections but our site (30A) did have a 10A breaker running the 30A plug, luckily our RV is very light on electricity so we had no issues.

Roadways into, within and out of park need work. Littered with big potholes that an RV or travel trailer cannot avoid. Our blacktop site was fairly level from side to side but had a big difference from front to back. Our wheel levelers left imprints in the blacktop, I assume from the heat of the day. No wi-fi offered. Nicely shaded sites.

Easy in and out park. Nice rates. Plus we got to watch the Space Camp kids shoot off their rockets. Park needs some TLC. And the potholes are terrible!!!

A little disappointing. We're retired. It primarily oriented toward kids naturally, Space Camp. The first whole building was largely a video arcade . The second exhibition building had more NASA, space flight exhibits. Good for us old timers. Many add-on charges for fun things to do. Also, did the planetarium the night before that was an extra charge but was good.

Spent two nights at the US Rocket Center RV Park. At first glance it looks like an ok park, sites are nicely spaced apart. However when it rains most of the sites turn into a big mud pit. So much so we couldn’t exit our camper without slipping in the mud. Not only our particular site, other campers were experiencing the same thing. The full hook ups were nice but most of the electric posts were leaning over/ dented. The water supply is weirdly in an underground area. The rv septic is above ground almost too high for dumping without holding your hose up. The sites themselves have some grassy area, which is nice, but branches down laying around. We had random broken bricks laying all over the site. You can sit outside and watch the kids in the space camp light of rockets which is fun. Sites are $30 per night. We didn’t use the shower houses so can’t review those. Campground is ok for a night or two but not a destination. It’s seems like a small older park but not well cared for.

Beware we have stayed here several times in the past with thing in the campground getting worse each time. Our daughter lives close to the campground and it has been nice to stay close when we travel through. We stayed in February 2022 and our site 30 amp breaker keep tripping. Ask management about it and said the call maintenance who never showed up. Used 20 amp circuit and power management and got by. Here in March with reservations for site 4 but reassigned to site 19. Only problem with 19 it so I level you an not setup very well. But the worst is the guy in the site next to me ran his generator all night. According to the regulations quiet hours are between 10 and 8 and includes generators. Called security per regulations asked for assistance and was told they make a note of it. Asked management with no answer or resolution. I could have had a better night sleep at Cracker Barrel than here. Stay away

The U.S. Space and Rocket Center RV Campground is a small campground with full hook ups at a great location with an even better price of $30 a night for a back in spot. The sites were spacious and included a picnic table and a small grill. There was a shower house /bathroom on site. The bathroom featured three bathroom stalls and two showers. The bathrooms were especially clean and well maintained!! I love that there was a lock code to get in the bathrooms it made me feel safe. There are about 30 sites at the whole campground. There isn’t any trails to walk your dogs but there is tons of grass area and many sidewalks with limited traffic to walk your dogs on. We loved how we were only a few minutes from downtown Huntsville and basically close to everything. The campground is within earshot of a highway so we did get a lot of highway noise but it wasn’t bad, just figured I would mention that for those who are light sleepers. Overall, we enjoyed this campground and it served as the perfect spot to get to all of Huntsville’s amazing amenities quickly.

Decent price for full hook-ups and nights are quiet (but it's not full right now). Roads could use some TLC. Easy to get to, easy to pull in.

Small, older park but perfect for visiting Huntsville. Clean restrooms and showers, beautiful wooded sites.

This is a good RV park, one not to expect a lot of amenities, lots aren't very level so expect to work at getting your rig level, hook ups could use updating. Rest rooms and showers were well kept and clean. There is no wifi available and the Marriot has very limited food options, there are delivery services locally which works great for the camp ground if you don't want to unhook. Nice location

A must see in Huntsville Alabama. Nice long walk and plenty of docents.
