Great campground! Excellent sites in wooded area over looking pond used for swimming, boating, & fishing. Clean bathhouses with free showers. Laundry, store, & firewood on site. Staff is friendly, & knowledgeable.  Shopping nearby (Walmart, Target, grocery). Located 10 minutes off highway (I-95). Two thumbs up!

Spent one night here with our 34 ft fifth wheel. Large pull thru with full hook ups. Approach to campground was easy not far from highway, sites are large and level with grass and gravel surface. No busy roads near by so might was quiet. Grounds are well maintained and cleaned.

The campground itself is absolutely gorgeous and the location is great for accessing Portland or local hikes. The downside of that is how close this campground is to the Portland airport. I was tent camping along the water and it felt like planes were landing on my head, keeping me up late and waking me up early. Besides that inconvenience, the bathrooms were clean and the sites were well maintained if a little tight.

We needed an overnight place to stay and wassamki was reasonably priced and happy available. Great friendly staff, very helpful. Sites are spacious enough for a large RV. Not very private. There are showers, laundry, a beech, beech front sites, toilets, wood and ice for sale, camp store, and arcade games.  Water and electric on each site. Full hookups available. There is overhead plane noise which can interrupt a cool play list. Good place to try with a camper. Not really for a tent.

There is good security - always a person at the gate to check your pass.  The roads were flooded after the heavy rain, but we were good on the grass.  Didn't use the facilities or swim in the lake - too cold.
10% Good Sam discount.  30 minutes to Portland - that's the advantage.  $92 with discount

The waterfront sites offer a gorgeous view. Bathrooms are outdated but clean. The staff was super friendly. We stayed before Memorial Day so it was very quiet. The airplanes didn't bother us at all and the kids loved seeing them. The location can not be beat! We will definitely be visiting again!

You only get to stay once. If you can't go back at all what's the point of even going?  What if your guests like your place sooooooo much they want to visit again? You're missing out on money.

Lovely camp ground. More like a park than a commercial campground. Sites are nice with enough room. Restrooms were good. Hosts were kind, especially as it was a last minute booking. Everything was well-maintained.

Stayed on 10/14/24 and had a great time! The owner's wife is super friendly, the view with the lake is gorgeous, and the bathrooms/laundry are very clean. Close to nearby businesses. Quiet at night. Definitely recommend and definitely will be staying here again!!

There were 4 main issues that made our stay difficult. The first piece was the dust. This was made worse by the surveillance performed by cars and golf carts several times an hour. A long time camper said some of that was do to “neighborhood watch” but honestly this surveillance created huge clouds dust which permeated into everything, not to mention breathing it. In a tent, there was no escape! No grass for transient campers, so it was a lot. If it had rained it would have been mud.
This location is in Portland Airport’s flight path. So even though there is quiet hours, the takeoff and landing still occurred throughout the night.
Lots of rules, which is okay ish. I understand, but the sites were not protected from each other, no foliage! Lots of doggies, which was nice, however with the dirt/dust doggies were NOT ALLOWED IN THE WATER. Someone did bring their doggies into pond, but I’m not a rule breaker, so used water wipes before getting our dog into car. He was filthy!
Toilet paper in bathroom was the thinnest I’ve ever seen in my life. Difficult to get off the roll, and it fell apart in your hand! 😳 😑 plus cockroaches in the bathroom. 😬
On a positive note, on Sunday mornings the fire department puts on a WONDERFUL breakfast which is made to order, inexpensive and DELICIOUS! Absolutely delicious!
All in all, it was expensive and not great, especially if you are in a tent. I think their intentions are good, however as my mother would say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Came in for a quick one night stay en route from one place to another. Friendly vibe in the office, but not so much in the campground itself. Nowhere to walk my dogs in the vicinity of my site except in the (very dusty) road, felt like if you stepped onto any grass you were in someone's site. Saw several apparent full-timers (or maybe people who leave their rigs there all summer?) with unfriendly signs like "don't even think about walking thru my site" etc. We were in smaller Class C, in between several tent campers. Got stared at a lot.
