We stopped here on our way home and one night turned into 3 we enjoyed the place so much. The spots are wide on the back in spots and pull throughs were wide enough for multiple slideouts. The best part is the catch and release stocked pond with a 1/2 mile path around it. Hubby caught several fish each evening, he had lots of fun. Bathrooms were clean, and well lit, there is a kitchen and tv in the building also the laundry.($2 to wash and to dry in commercial machines) There is a FENCED dog area YEAH!!!! and a fenced kiddie playground. Some interesting things to do Confederate Memorial Park, and enjoyed some good food at Peach Park and Bertolone's Italian. We will stop there again on our way south. Room Tip: Site 17 is down by the edge of the lake and walking path for easy fishing access.

If you have an RV trip that goes to or through Clanton AL, stop by and see or even stay at the park. These folks are great. Unfortunately, we could stay just one night but the place was clean and well run. There was even an employee that came by to see if everything was OK and we were having a good time. Wow, I have not seen that before. They are truly friendly and very helpful and accommodating. They provide full service for camping and RVing. These folks set a standard that I wish others would follow. Thanks for the good experience and we will be back again to stay with you.

This review is for the campground portion of the business, not the RV dealership. They were easy to find, with very convenient access to I-65. The "stop here to register" sign is probably a couple hundred feet from the office, so keep that in mind if you don't move like you once did. The office folks were friendly, and I also noted a better than average selection of RV parts & accessories there. The campground is okay for a "one and done" stop-over, and for me was mostly a disappointment. More than a few long-term or permanent residents are there, with the sloppy campsites to match. The park property needs some love & attention. For what we paid, this was not a good value.

We have enjoyed our time at Yellowhammer. The staff is friendly, the service is good, they honor Passport America, and it's clean and maintained. There's an area for the dogs and kids, a lounge, a kitchen for use, and a nice fishing pond. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back, and I'd recommend this place.

Very nice facility for laundry with a clubhouse atmosphere. A TV and fridge and stove available. Showers and restrooms were very clean. If you can backup, you save $5 from the pull thru option. They take Passport America discount with tax was $25.

Yellowhammer gave me an AWESOME DEAL on a 2004 Keystone Cougar. I had seen it online and sent a cash offer and first thing the next morning i got a emailed from them excepting my offer. Not only that but the owner and all the staff was very friendly. I would diffidently buy from them again!!! Plus, I've owned the camper for a couple months and have camped several times in in it already with NO PROBLEMS. But i did my home work before i went and spent a good hour or so expecting the Cougar myself. To me that's where MOST people buy a lemon and blame it on the dealership. They just sign on the dotted line and take it home. NOT ME. They didn't mind me taking as much time as i needed. NO PRESSURE at all from them. THANKS YELLOWHAMMER!!!

The campground and repair staff are all helpful and accommodating. Our repair and 6 day stay was comfortable and relaxing. Lounge, showers and laundry areas are clean, modern and inviting. These folks are highly recommended!

This place went out of business. |It is now Yellowhammer sales/service and still has overbite facilities. Nice folks now. |I have not stayed there but went shopping for a fifth wheel. Nice selection and very friendly staff. Did not end up buying from them because we found one that suited our tastes better. Getting rid of class A as I am now officially retired

I have been staying at Yellowhammer for several weeks now and am well pleased with their park. I have a new 40 foot motorhome that I move around the state throughout the year and I am very particular about where I stay. The park must be clean, safe and have easy full hook ups. The staff must be courteous and for sure not rude……travel all the time in this home and see it all! I have looked up places on the internet that looked great but when I arrived in person it was frightening to say the least. I’m a pretty easy going guy but you pay a fair amount to stay in these parks. To earn my business, a park has to be well maintained. Yellowhammer has exceeded my expectations. This place is clean, has 24-7 on site active security…..actually patrol the park round the clock. The washroom and bath areas are the nicest and cleanest I’ve ever seen at a park. An extra benefit to me is they have a first class and HONEST maintenance department that can do most any type work on my motorhome. I’ve already used them twice for repairs and they are great and will be getting all my business! Yellowhammer also has a great onsite store that has all necessary supplies. Because I travel with my consulting business and live in my motorhome more that my home in South Alabama, RV park satisfaction is of the most importance to me. Yellowhammer, from top to bottom is by far the best I’ve stayed at. I hope they open additional sites around the state……hearing they have plans to.

We just started camping in a little teardrop camper. We tried Yellowhammer cause it was close for first outing. This place is a hidden gem! The most helpful and friendly staff you could ever meet. Park and bathrooms spotless. Pond full of fish, and very quite and peaceful at night.

We stopped in here on the way to Florida with a leaking gray water drain valve and pipe. The service team was excellent - worked us right in from a phone call on the highway. We had access to the TV lounge and facilities while we waited on the repair. Once parts were secured, we were on the way in 30 minutes. Would recommend this place to anyone needing regular or emergency service. They also have camping sites with full hookups and a fishing pond for campers.

This campground is a great place to stop for a night. We stay here every year on our way to the beach. Easy access off the highway and great level sites makes set-up a snap. The staff has always been nice and without any hassles. The fishing pond is a nice bonus for the kids!
