Stayed here as a rest stop on our way to Florida. Pulled in a little late but they were still there to meet us and guided as to our campsite in the dark, which was much appreciated after Ray tiring day. Campground was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely stop here again!

This is a great place to stay. The restrooms and showers are great. The office was closed when we arrived but the instructions to our site was great.

Very nice RV Park. We only live 15 minutes away, but are new camper owners and wanted to use the camper, but needed to be close to home. Bathroom/shower house was showe clean. Our site was nice with concrete patio area. Only thing missing was a fire ring. We did not use their cable and our smart tv would not connect to their wireless internet-we were right across the drive from the store/bath house. Staff was all very friendly and the escort to our site was very nice. We will definitely visit again!

A nice rv park. Plenty of trees and nice sites. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice the way they guide you to your site. Bathrooms are clean and secure. Only complaint I have is the wifi. Cuts off and on continuously.

If you need a stop while traveling this is a good spot right off Interstate 65. Was escorted to our site and bathroom/showers are clean. No military discount for economy sites when booking online.

We stayed at the campground as a last minute thing as my truck developed a serious issue which needed it to go into the repair shop before we could continue on our journey to Florida with our 5th wheel. We arrived and met Vickie who helped us find a site. We explained our predicament and said that we did not know how many nights it might be as it was late in the afternoon and I would need to take the truck to the dealer which was a 30 minute drive away and it was close to closing time for the shop. Vicky and the other staff were very accommodating and said we could rent the site day by day depending how long the repair for the truck would take. After one night, we asked for a late check out because we thought the truck might be ready by the end of that day. We also said that we might need a second night if the truck still wasn’t ready. We were charged $10 plus tax for the late checkout fee which was fine with us. As it turned out, the truck repair was completed late in the day so we decided to stay the second night. In the morning when we were checking out, I discovered that I had been charged for 2 nights plus the late check out fee. I asked why this was and was told that it should be removed but the manager would have to do it when she came to work later. Later on in the day, I called and spoke to a male in the office who told me that they couldn’t refund the late checkout fee because their system would not allow for it. I have no issues with the park or the staff but I feel that this was unfair even after I explained that my truck repair cost me $1800. I’m Canadian so that’s more like $2500 for me.

1. Great Staff, well prepared for our arrival. 2. Great Location, right off I-65, near stores/groceries. 3. Nice pull thru site, shaded, clean, 4. Too cold for pool, great laundry & shower/toilets. 5. Priced reasonably. 6. We'd stay again.

We had a great pull through site, very easy to get into. Our site was spacious, with nices trees, and a nice concrete patio. The campground is well-maintained and the staff was friendly when we checked-in. There were a few trains with some loud horns overnight, but the rest of the evening and night was very quiet. We will definitely go back.

Very clean, lovely resort far enough off the highway to mitigate the noise, but close enough for easy access. WiFi was excellent, bathrooms were very clean and updated. Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent very woodsy park on the south side of Birmingham, AL. Nice, quiet, spacious spots, bathroom and showers were very clean and nice. People were very friendly. It is right off I-65 but not much interstate noise. Has some monthly people living their but they had their sites neat and their units were in good condition. Food and gas options are closed by.

Campground & bathrooms were very clean. Didn't have fire rings which would have been nice but for our stay there was a burn ban so we couldn't have utilized them anyways. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Definitely will stay there again

Would give this a 5 star except I think it is overpriced for RV sites ($66 per night) and for laundry ($2.5 to $3 per load). The people working there are great, helpful & friendly. We ordered propane and the guy came to our site to take the tank & brought it back full. Price for propane seemed reasonable for the service. The campground is old, but well maintained, some sites seem unlevel, most are not. WiFi was consistent and adequate for streaming. I do like this park and it is convenient off I-65, but why so pricey? We full time so have stayed in hundreds of campgrounds, many just as nice and less expensive.

The park is conveniently located right off 65 for an easy pull in. The staff is friendly. Many amenities. Very clean. Located near a fantastic cajun restaurant. My one complaint is that it's next to a railroad from.midnight to 130 x3 trains came in and blew their horns and sounded like they were 10 ft away. We only stayed one night so I don't know if this is an every night occurrence but when you are traveling we would have liked a full night's rest. But the camp itself was quiet and very clean

Birmingham South RV is a very nice facility, with large, spacious lots. Easy in/easy out with my 40’ BlueBird and Toad. But the best part is the staff that makes you feel so welcomed and valued as a customer. If I hadn’t had a commitment requiring my continued travel, I sure would have loved to stay longer.
