Wish we could have stayed longer but we were just passing through. The store was clean upon check in and the ladies that checked me in were hilarious and kind. Our site was a big rig pull through, and it was so convenient and easy to get into. The utilities were perfectly located. I wish all sites were like this! The bath house and pool were very clean. We had a beautiful view of the sunset to end the day. If we're ever passing through again, this will definitely be our choice!

Close to anything you'd want to do, and it was easy to check in and get setup. I was very pleased with my stay and if I was ever in the area again I would certainly try to return. The sites were clean, along with the bathrooms. Has a clean dog run and the campsite was relatively quiet. Everyone was very friendly and kind, and over all it was a great stay. Highly recommend!

This was our first time staying at the park while attending the SEC tournament. Not sure how many days to book for our team’s run through the tourney is a guess at best. The folks at Birmingham South RV Park went over and beyond to accommodate us and provide a spot to allow us to follow our team. The grounds are clean, the bathhouse and restrooms are kept clean, the pool and game room are neat and available, and the list goes on. The staff is what really separates them from other places. They are wonderful people who truly care about your stay and want you to be happy. Highly recommend ! They do it right !

Our family loves Birmingham South. The staff is helpful and friendly. The grounds are kept clean, grass mowed regularly. The salt water swimming pool is a favorite of the family. The other amenities are pleasant as well - clean bath house, fun playground, plenty of space to go on casual walks. The location is convenient to a variety of big box stores and local treats.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The bathroom and showers were super clean. They were clean several times throughout the day. The park is near I 65 but you could hear no road noise at all extremely close to Oak Mountain State Park. Nice back roads to get there.

Great campground. Stayed on 2 separate occasions for one night while headed to Florida and then on way home. Service was excellent. Staff are friendly and take you to your site to ensure you get in ok. The showers and bathrooms are clean, safe and well maintained. There is a nice pool, playground and laundry facilities which we did not have to use but did check them out. The campground is close to gas stations, restaurants, and right off the interstate which is extremely convenient. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding, pretty campground, one of the finest I have seen. Shade on most sites is great. Level sites. Very clean refreshing pool. Very nice staff. The staff turned us on to "Buddy's Car Wash", 1 mile away, a great $10 unlimited time with all kinds of soaps, wax and such simply to clean our truck from all the crap over 4 weeks.

Sites level and good for staying hooked up for one night. Bathroom and showers were very clean and well maintained. Were shown to our site and felt welcome. They have a new dog park area and even greeted us with a dog bag which had treats and local information if needed for our fur baby We would stay again if travelling through the area.

Friendly staff. Immaculate facilities and right off the highway. We only stayed one night but it was enjoyable. Everything was clean and the staff escorted us to our spot. We were fairly close together but everyone was a good neighbor respecting quiet time and dogs on a leash. There is a dog park if you want your fur family to have a chance to run.

Beautiful and well-cared for! The staff were friendly and super helpful. Also maybe the best laundry I’ve ever had at a campground. The only negative was the skinny campsite 😟 We were in the tiered section & were not level side-to-side. We needed our levelers and also needed to borrow bricks from around the utilities for our stairs, which wouldn’t reach the ground bcz of the grade.

Nice place for an overnight stay. We are traveling to Florida in our 29ft travel trailer. Campground is easy to get to, efficient check in process. Our site was gravel, spacious and level. Clean restrooms/showers. Friendly and helpful staff. Propane fill available. Yes, I heard a train, as mentioned in other reviews, but it was not annoying. It didn’t sound like it was right next to us and I only heard it a couple of times during the day.

We have stayed at this campground multiple times over the years because it is roughly 400 miles from home so it is not too bad of a drive for one day. The campground is easy to access off of I-65. The people working there are very friendly and the restroom/bathhouse are well maintained. The room score I gave was based on the campsites I have experienced. the sites are fairly level but I have had to drive up on blocks on one end of the coach to get our motorhome close enough to level so that the auto leveling system can take care of the rest of the leveling. We will definitely stay here again the next time we travel towards the northeast.

We stayed for 8 days and enjoyed our visit. The campground is very clean as are the restrooms and showers. The staff was very accommodating, we let them know we were traveling with our 3 teenagers that all have a physical disability and the staff was able to give us a site near the restrooms/showers. This made it easier for our kids to get to the showers. The women in the office were very pleasant. My kids enjoyed the game room and the pool. The campground is very quiet at night which I like. We will be returning next year as the Move United Nationals are being held in Hoover AL for a 2nd year.

Perfect location right off the interstate easy to get in to. We stopped here on the way to and back from Florida. Park is clean bathrooms were super nice. They are remodeling the showers They look great. Camp store had a good amount of supplies we camped on the off season shelves were a little bare but to be expected in feb. All in all we will be back next year. Thank you for a great experience

Staff was nice. We wanted to add a day at the beginning but they said they couldn’t they were full. So we came on our regular reservation. The site was very broken asphalt, including a very large pot hole where you would normally step out of the motor home. The site was not level so we had to back up to the end of the site, far from the hook ups to be level. Park is rundown. Has many small (short sites). There was a very nice new looking concrete site long enough for our big rig but no one ever was on it. We added a day to the end and were told “we were lucky we got the last site”, but they still weren’t full. Probably wouldn’t stay again.
