Stopped here as we had made no reservations and didn't know where we'd be. Not one to judge a book by its cover...as we drove up it was definitely NOT what we are used to for a Days Inn. We decided to try anyway. The first room we were given seemed to house its own jet plane revving its engine. We were given a 2nd room. I got in as far as the doorway as my son went to pull the curtain at least a dozen roaches were all in the pleats. We backed right out and went to the office where Sarah, who was as nice and understanding as could be and cancelled our night. Definitely will not be going back.

It was available in a pinch. It smelled like water damage. They have bugs, the blanket or piece of Styrofoam had stains on the inside. The air was a hint of stale smoke. Rusty tub, toilet and sink. Clearly an old building. The air conditioner is okay but kind of weird. It was very inexpensive. The tv and Wi-Fi worked well enough. Although the tv was a large box television.

This is a great place ! Alot of people get on here and complain about this and that and nitpick over everything but if you are ever there at this hotel for more than one night like my family was while we were renovating then you will get to know the amazing staff and you will find that the front desk ladies go above and beyond ! I don't know all there names but Jessica and All of them are just so sweet ! Then there are the housekeepers , these ladies were on point and always helpful and I love them all like family . I cannot forget the maintenance man Michael and his wife Brandy , he is a hard-working person with alot to do and always smiles while doing it ! Brandy is a sweet lady and they are a great team ! The hotel itself is being renovated and I have not a problem at all with any room I have stayed in . It's economical and fair priced and My family enjoys our team there . All in all a great place full of great people and good accommodations . My family will be back !

I was just there visiting my friend. The place looks better than when I saw it years ago. Looks as though they are renovating the place and making changes. So that's good. As for the employees the only employee I spoke to there was a woman named jess and she was so nice. Very pretty too. She is definitely perfect for that place.

Beds need to be updated, sank in the middle. House keeping is pour, used wash cloth hanging on shower and hair in the sink. Coffeemaker had not been cleaned. Got charged for a king bed and had two regular beds. Pretty poor quality for WHYNDHAM

I frequently visit this hotel. I give it a five star rating. The staff is amazing and you can see the improvements that are occuring. Housekeeping Dept is helpful and the rooms are clean. Maintenance is on call 24/7. The pool is huge and refreshing. It's a great way to relax after being on the road all day.

Old and outdated motel. Room was clean somewhat but room maids need to do better at cleaning behind doors and getting maintenance to seal up old cracks around ceramic tile. Made me feel dirty in the room when I wasnt. low lighting room and a crazy entrance to the lobby. I couldn't tell if it was a entrance to a bar area or lobby

I have been coming to this hotel for a few months every week on my overnights due to work. I get there every Thursday night and from when I first started to go there they have done a lot of improvements. A lot of other reviews from people are just petty in my opinion. The management and staff have always been straight forward and honest. There is always improvements happening and every week something new is done. Will always come back to stay. Quiet place for a great nights sleep. Thanks for the hospitality and see y'all Thursday night.

We only chose this spot due to needing a place to rest before we continued our 16 hour drive, we drove as far as we could then stopped. First room we were assigned was room 218 and it stunk of cat urine and had fleas in it. The hotel itself was crawling with shady looking characters, they do have a bar onsite and a soda machine.

Guest Service Rep at check in was very nice but that is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. Room is in desperate need of renovations....burn holes in bed spreads, hair on the sheets and carpet disgusting. When we checked in at 4pm we were told that there was no water but it would be fixed within the hour so it wasn't a problem but here it is 930pm and we still have no water to flush toilet, brush teeth or shower. I was a manager at a Wyndham property and this is completely unacceptable.

Wanted a room with a hot bathtub. Nothing fancy just a regular shower tub combo. 1st room 2~3 hours no hot water. Maintenace said too many workers taking showers? Also workers next room havinga party / visitation while we waiter for heater to warm up? 2nd room 3 hours later has hot water but the bath tub stopper wont work. Uggh! We ended up at Best western. Much better rooms and working baths with very hot water.

This place sucks . Keys didn't work 3 times with tree different keys. The bar code was damage on keys. Doors was locked at front desk waited out side for someone to answer. It's real cold outside . She said if the key don't work again call her and it didn't work again . All I wanted to do is get some sleep. I have kids with me this is ridiculous. The heater don't blow out fast . The tv you have to manually push it.

The hotel needed a lot of maintenance and repair. The rooms were old an needed work. The tub did not drain properly and ac/heater rattled quite a bit. Would mot stay here again

The best place to stay in central Alabama--- especially at its awesome low price; I stayed for 10 days and it really made the saying, "sweet home Alabama," stick! Actually, I ended up staying here for an extended stay. First, I will always miss this time in my life. I was living a simple and good life, not a care in the world at a ridiculously cheap price. Stay the night and see for yourself. When you do stay here, I recommend getting a room on the inner part of the second floor, there is a surprisingly beautiful view of the little city named Clanton. I will be staying here again soon, and I plan on taking one last picture, for my time in Alabama will be over.

The staff were great, but the place is run down and dirty. The room itself was damp. The bedding was really old. Two pulled that had seen better days and thin sheet with the bed spread. The hot water for the shower was minimal. The breakfast buffet was a joke. Cold honeybuns and stale muffins. Thankfully the room was cheap.
