Besides the sound of planes taking off 24/7, which I expected, that wasn’t the problem. The problem is that there was NO patrolling to prevent unruly, LOAD MUSIC playing, gang like mentality, a crazy amount of people at one site, and that the bathrooms were so gross!!! Do not stay here! WARNING!!!

The park has no frills; however, it’s on the beach and close to everything in the LA area, which is why I gave it 5 stars. It has full hookups that are super clean. The only downside is the spaces are close together - but you hopefully are spending time at the beach for a fun outing. If you want to be close to all things LA, then this is the park for you!

With it being located in LA, I came in with pretty low expectations, but was surpised to find that it was a pleasant experience. The RV park itself is basically a parking lot with hookups for RVs, but is located right on the beach which makes for a very scenic view. The bathrooms are okay. The beach access is nice and basically limited to people at RV park. It makes for an almost private beach feel in comparison to the other surrounding beaches in LA. Overall for camping on the beach in the city it is one of the better options out there.

This was my second RV park experience. I had only ever been to Mission Bay in San Diego. Based on my experience at Mission Bay, I really had anticipated a higher quality experience than what I ended up having. This location is wonderfully placed yet is under maintained. There is a smell of sewage that lingers in the air. The first night I attempted to open the windows of the RV to allowing fresh air, while sleeping only to be awakened by wharfs of sewage smell. Now I originally thought this was may be coming from my own RV until the next day I realize that all times of day you can smell sewage in the air. I really had higher hopes for this particular RV park especially because it’s located conveniently right at the beach is edge. There is truly great potential for this RV park to be much better and it will be wonderful to see the city take a more concerted effort towards improving the RV park experience at the specific location. I had no customer service issues. In fact, the folks I interacted with were very nice and friendly.

Good place staying in the dry camping sites as they have more room and privacy. If the wind comes from the east you smell the sewerage plant across the highway. Planes all day but they reduce by 10pm and start slowly around 5:30am. I was ok with the noise in the vehicle but outside on the south runway was pretty loud. The toilets fairly clean and stocked with paper

I had pretty low expectations when we booked here... But wow. Where do I even start? Customer service was non-existent. Everyone I talked to seemed bothered that I had a question. Short answers, distracted, not even looking up from their phones to talk to me. The site itself was mediocre. Picnic tables are bolted down, so you can't move it out from under the neighbors slide outs - impossible not to be tripping over your neighbors. There's room to put your awning out, that's about it. The place is also lit up like a stadium - even with the curtains closed, seemed like bright light shining in everywhere. We were given codes to access restrooms, showers & laundry... None of the doors actually opened. The only shower appeared to be the outdoors beach shower. The beach was nothing short of disgusting. I've seen landfills with less trash. Luckily they had sand piled 20 feet high the length of the RV park, so we couldn't actually see it - the derelict vessels just off shore weren't any better to look at. It's also right next to LAX, a power plant & a water treatment facility. The air quality was so poor, by the third day I was coughing so much I thought I was sick. The airport was (obviously) pretty noisy, but watching the planes was about the only positive of the entire stay. If sitting inside with the windows closed & AC on is your idea of a beach holiday, this place is great. I'd bring an air purifier too.

We stayed here Friday-Sunday at the end of October. 90% or more filled up in the park. It’s nice being right at the beach. Although the beach path doesn’t allow dogs because it’s a bike trail and the Main Street doesn’t have sidewalks so everyone’s dogs here are pretty bummed out and barking a ton. The planes are ok, very loud but not super frequent. There was a weird loud air horn from a boat all night. It was less than a 2 mile walk to downtown El Segundo with lots of good food and shops. The showers were classic beach showers. Laundry has an app to pay which rules. All in all this has been a good spot and we’re picking up a friend from the airport. Was lucky enough to book a day in advanced. It felt really safe and clean. Would come here again!

This is an awesome campground next to a major city like Los Angeles and all its nearby towns. The campground is right next to the beach and to a bike path. It has full hookups, bathrooms with showers and laundry room. The beach is amazing, miles of walking space. For $80-$90/night you pay what would be hundreds of dollars more per night at a hotel in that location. The reason for 4 stars is that it is next to LAX, which means that you will be essentially underneath the take-off/landing path of all the airplanes. LAX is a busy airport and, even though it does quiet down a little at late hours of the night, don't count on silence. Personally, I just end up de-tuning that noise but, if you are sensitive to that, this may not be the place for you. Otherwise, I could not recommend it more, a fantastic place to be with your rv in a metropolis!

The location couldn't be any better. You are literally steps away from a beautiful beach ⛱️ with an amazing paved sidewalk perfect for biking, walking, jogging, skateboarding. Lots of firepits right in front of the rv park on the beach. The biggest problem was plane noise! LAX is so close. It was difficult to sleep at night due to the noise and there are a lot of planes!!!! Sunsets were the most beautiful I have ever seen.

This beach has to be the filthiest beach park I ever been to. I spent most of my time cleaning the beach. Loaded three trash bags full or trash I found on the spot I was sitting at. There was bike renting from Metro Bike which was very affordable and equipment was semi new. Bomb fires are still happening at night but people are simply wild and careless of mother earths home.

Stayed over the 9/19 I arrived 35 minutes early and they would not let me check in unless I paid early fee. The staff is very unfriendly and mean, The customer service is unknown to these people. The Rules and regulations are made up as they go thru your campground, My vehicle was a little larger and parking very limited , Supervisor suggested to go to public Beach parking that is 2 miles long and full or maybe closer to the airport. only because my car was touching the white line.

Two stars for the ocean view and access to the beach. Everything else is not worth the $75/day plus all the add ons. No enforcement of the long list of rules that they say you must follow. Bathrooms are barely clean and not much privacy for the showers. Dumpsters overflowing, noisy, drunk campers and homeless encampments on the far end of the park. Would not recommend- lots of other RV parks along the California coast at half the coast and much cleaner.

We visited end of May 2022. I really enjoyed the beach view here. You are parked right up at the beach. You get a gate code that works for the showers too. Showers were ok, kind of awkward setup. The restroom in the shower is much better than the public beach restroom. There are planes flying by but that didn’t bother me that much.

Probably one of the better RV campgrounds on the beach. We had a front row site, and woke up to the sounds of the waves....and planes. You're close to the flight path out of LAX, but other than that, the place was amazing. There are plenty of fire pits on either side of the beach, but we were fine getting one right behind the trailer. One note of caution, it's the LA freeway. If you're not from here or used to towing a rig through traffic, plan your route and don't use Google for your GPS, you want to use a specific GPS app for truckers or RV specific.

Surprisingly delighted with this spot despite it being loud from planes. The beach was deserted during the day and very clean, at night there were a few bonfires (out at 10pm). Running/biking trail along the beach was lovely. There was a small homeless encampment a little farther down but there weren’t any problems when I was there and it didn’t effect the actual rv area. Security was super friendly and patrolling 24/7 and I felt safe here. Don’t go here if you’re looking for a fancy rv park because what you’ll find is a parking lot with hookups and public beach restrooms. Do go here if you want to be in LA and close to the beach!
