Grand Canyon Trailer Village RV Park

Went during off season so lots of space. The restrooms were closed for the season. And had porta potys. Ewwww. During season though I suspect this place would be packed in like sardines with little room to maneuver your rig. Park shuttle was really nice.

Great place to stay for awhile or just a “splash and go”. The sites are ample and will accommodate all sizes of rv’s. They are all pull through.

5 stars for the convenience of being in the park and the level sites. We came in on Wednesday and there was basically no one there. We left on Friday and it was about 10% full. Overall would do it again just for the ease of being in the park and not having to wait in line at the gate every time.

Visited the campground in January, had a lot of space to ourselves and had several elk encounters which was cool. The sites themselves are clean, well kept, and pull through but very close together. You might be able to reach out of your window and touch your neighbors in the summer time when it’s packed. When we checked in the guy at the front desk wasn’t friendly and gave very little instruction or information about the park. You have to drive a few minutes to another campground to get to showers and laundry, they only have restrooms at this location. There was also a lot of construction towards the back of the campground and some noise from the workers in the morning. Over all not bad, but if it wasn’t in the nationally park it wouldn’t be worth the money.

105 bucks for one night. No wifi. Can't use public showers. All the grills were covered up. The pad they put us in wasn't level. If yall are under water restrictions maybe go down on price. Place isn't worth the 100 bucks. When I've stayed at multiple places for 50 bucks with better facilities.

Our view consisted of an old broke down car on jacks with an oil slick under it. This was our sad view every day out the large front window of our camper as we tried to enjoy our coffee in the morning or dinner in the evening. I informed the front desk and they said the car belonged to someone in the dormitory and acknowledged it had been there a while. For the price we paid for the campsite and witnessing the lack of care for the National Park, we were simply disappointed in the experience. Update- this has been sufficiently addressed and resolved. This is no longer an issue and I can recommend this as a great place to stay and visit. I encourage anyone to speak with management if there are problems.

I feel like the management of this campground is only out to make a quick buck and doesn't care anything about the users experience. * There are no showers at this campground* Check in area is actually a bus stop. Was told not to park there for church in. Paid for 30 amp service, but was told there is no 30amp, so no electricity I paid for. The sites are run down and right on top of each other. The showers are a 10 minute walk away in a different campground, in a building that looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1950s. These are the worst showers I have ever seen in an RV camp. This place is not worth the price. The stalls near the shower were out of toilet paper. There clerk said she was out of toilet paper. Not worth the premium price.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving holiday with family and kids. For the price and amenities I would not recommend nor return. Yes, being in the park is convenient, generally speaking. Paying over $80 a night and having such limited amenities is simply not worth it. The shower was 4 min drive away, with 1 sink. The showers closed at 4pm daily (!) Our pull through slab was on angle which we needed to adjust by pulling up onto rocks. Frustratingly, there were no fire pits anywhere in the RV village. When we walked .7 miles to the general store and found firewood, it was explained to me that the neighboring CAMPground allowed fires, Mather. Like I started, we will not be returning here in our next visit to the Grand Canyon.

This is the only rv park on the south rim of Grand Canyon. Full hook up paved sites with 50 amp electric. All sites pull thru, some long enough for large MH or 5ver. Park shuttle bus stop at the checkin hut, so seeing the sites is easy. We've stayed here many times over the past 20 years and have seen the price double. I guess for a destination like Grand Canyonn that is the norm. Note: when arriving pull ahead of the office in order to allow room for busses to turn around.

This place was very close to the grand canyon, walking distance from the site with free shuttle busses to take you into the main area as well. Gift shops, coffee shops and resturants on site. Was a gorgeous stay, only complaint was the price per night and just a heads up, you still need to pay the $35 fee to enter the area regardless if you are staying at a park or not.

Yes, the RV park is conveniently located within the Grand Canyon, so it must be good because of that. Close to the hiking trails and the store. We stayed in our travel trailer in one of the paved sites in the middle of October 2024 for few nights. We planned on using the bathroom and shower facilities. The bathroom and showers situation is awful. The showers are closed @ 9 pm each day. No one told us about this upon check-in. What a surprise we had going there after 9 pm - no shower for us the evening of arrival after full day of driving. We went during open hours next day. The showers are disgusting and extremely dirty. They were supposed to be cleaned every 3-4 hrs or something like that. They were closed for 30-45 min for the cleaning each time, but they didn't seem to be cleaned at all. There is only 1 sink in the bathroom, which was dirty too and did not appear to be cleaned for days. Disgusting!!! You need coins or tokens for the shower. The coin box didn't work properly and was taking my tokens constantly without activating the shower. Someone has an office there. I complained about taking my tokens and was told it's for maintenance to fix, not for her. I complained about the showers being dirty, she said is for the cleaner to handle, not for her. Not sure what is the purpose of her being there? She only upset me. What a disappointing experience we had! We've been planning and waiting excited to visit Grand Canyon for a while. We will not be staying at Trailer Village RV park in the future. It's way too overpriced with the basic services not working properly. I'm certain my review won't improve the situation. They know they are in the demanding location and people will be staying there no matter what. Hopefully it will help someone. Safe travels!

We stayed 4 nights in a travel trailer in July when it was at least 100 degrees every day so we were happy to have hook-ups for a/c. Being right off the walking/biking path was also great. However, for the price paid ($85/night) we would expect more included amenities. Showers and laundry were available for an additional cost 1/2 mile away. It was also one of the most unattractive RV park's we've ever stayed at. We were on the side with rows M-V which was much worse than rows A-L on the other side. On our side the asphalt roads were badly deteriorating. There also wasn't much shade. I wrote to the company that manages this park and heard nothing back.

Very nice clean park with all the amenities we needed lots of trails to get you where you’re going or take the bus. The park is beautiful and very clean.

We booked our stay at trailer village because we planned to hike Rim to Rim. It was a great experience. The village was clean and nice to set up our 5th wheel. The store and post office were right there. The shuttle comes to the entrance to pick you up so you don’t have to worry about parking your car or truck. A well run facility. We highly recommend.
