Nice central location to all of the activities. Very close to the marketplace. If you need to get anything to eat groceries or anything you forgot. Fantastic amount of walking and bike trails. Recommended. Bring your walking shoes or your bikes makes getting around 10 times faster and no parking problems. Do be prepared for weather changes. It can be very hot during the day and very cold at night. Bring all your different types of clothing. All sites are pull through and very easy to access. The only trouble we had was with the first site they put us in. We had electrical problems and ended up having to be moved to a different site. We had pretty good Verizon cell service. Wi-Fi is only available up at the visitor center. Overall we had a pretty good stay the electrical problem put a damper on that for a little while since it occurred at 2:00 a.m. in the morning. Hopefully they will get that site fixed so nobody else has that problem. Make sure and make your reservations early. We were here in April and had already made our reservations. 3 months in advance. Site was full most of the time we were there.

The location was very convenient to walk or catch a shuttle to the trails and other services. We were disappointed that the showers were not conveniently located and the bathrooms were not cleaned or resupplied in the 2 days we were there. Spaces were fairly small. You are definitely paying for the convenience of being close by and not for the amenities. The Grand Canyon was breathtaking, however we didn't realize it was spring break (we were there last weekend in March), so it was very crowed and took away from the enjoyment of our hiking experiences.

We chose Trailer Park Village in Grand Canyon National Park for its’ proximity to the trails, shuttle system, and other park features. It was money well spent. The park is pristine and staff drove by often, keeping it that way. The bathrooms were clean, water was hot. Check in was a breeze and the staff were super helpful about best places to catch the best views. We had a great time here and would stay again.

We absolutely love Trailer Village! It is clean, well-kept, conveniently located, and there is never a shortage of wildlife walking around. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else at the Grand Canyon.

We stayed at this park from March 26 through April 9, 2023. We did experience some snow fall during our stay, and thankfully we had our heated hoses, as we did encounter some neighbors that were unprepared and had frozen hoses and pipes. We booked our site online. They don’t give you a site number until you arrive at the park. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful information about the area's attractions, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. We ended up with site H-47, a pull through with full hook-ups, that was a bit snug to our neighboring RVers on either side. A bit more space between them would have been appreciated for added privacy. We had thought about requesting a different site, but decided we would make it work. On the plus side we didn’t have any trees that would block our Starlink from being able to connect. The RV Park offers a range of amenities to make your stay comfortable. Full hook-ups, including water, electricity, and sewer, ensure you have everything you need. There is a laundry facility to keep your clothes fresh. While there isn't a dedicated dog park, the surrounding area provides ample opportunities for exploration. It's worth noting that the trash bins along the streets tend to overflow on weekends, a minor inconvenience stemming from the park's popularity. There's also a general store nearby where you can stock up on essentials if needed. Keep in mind that it's located in a national park, so it's not a five-star resort. Given the unbeatable location and proximity to the Grand Canyon, the pricing was reasonable. However, it's important to note that you're essentially paying for the privilege of being within the national park. The value lies in the unique experience of being so close to one of the world's natural wonders. The sunrises and sunsets at this location are truly mesmerizing, casting a spellbinding beauty over the landscape. Stargazing here is an absolute must, with the unspoiled night skies offering a breathtaking celestial spectacle. During our stay, we were treated to numerous wildlife visits, which added a delightful dimension to our experience. The presence of wildlife truly enriched our visit and provided memorable encounters with the natural world. If the opportunity arises in the future for us to revisit, there's no doubt that we would choose to stay here again.

Although we visited the canyon, many times, we didn’t realize there was actually an RV trailer park within the national park we regretted by a herd of six elk when we first arrived. Campground itself is about a three-quarter of a mile walk to the Canyon rim. the campground features pull through Seitz and full hook ups about the only negative comment I can make is that the bathrooms could use a little updating

Fantastic location, the Rim, visitors center and free shuttle busses are all within walking distance!!! There are beautiful paved bike paths. Elk are a daily visitor.

Wonderful stay! Met by elk as we pulled in and enjoyed watching them graze and rest during our entire stay! Level sites and clean campground. So convenient to the park because the shuttle comes right to the campground. Would definitely stay again.

Very convenient to everything in the park. Had Elk roaming through the campground everyday. Fall (October) was a great time to go. Still lots of people but I’m sure there’s less than summertime. RV park has lots of spaces. We stayed on the paved side. They don’t issue you a space until arrival so you don’t get to choose which space you get. Wish it had a few more trees for shade.

We stayed a full 7 days. Our RV and truck together is about 45 ft. Although the park is very nice, the spots are a bit close. Plus, when folks park next to their sites it makes it even more narrow. As a side note they do have bathrooms to use but if you need to shower you have to go to next camp area and pay $2.50 for 5 minutes.

Staying here is affordable and convenient if you you plan a long hike in the canyon. The Bright Angel trailhead is nearby so you can start early without a great deal of drive time. The showers were very relaxing after hiking all day. The elk were entertaining to watch while we cooked and ate dinner in the campground. It was also nice to have restrooms available at night.

I like this location and chose it for full hookups and proximity to the south rim trails. I booked it a year ago to travel here from Massachusetts The only reason I give it a one star is on arrival we had no picnic table .? 50+ years camping don’t think I ever arrived to a site with no table. Also the bathrooms on the far right ( 100) section is closed but you don’t get to pick a site either The lack of response to the issue is also the reason for the one star review. They told me at the office “ it takes 2 weeks to fix things here “ Views and wildlife was amazing saw some elk every day it’s worth it to stay here just be prepared if things not as planned

Great adventure! Loved everything including seeing the wild animals. Our grandchildren portion the Junior Ranger Program. They learned a lot.

Iconic RV park on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Yes, it's close enough to walk to the rim and there are trails to do so; total length 1-way maybe 1.5 miles. You'll end up at the Visitor Center in Grannd Canyon Village. Bikes are welcome too. Pull through sites, no hassles.

Staying at Trailer Village RV Park was an amazing experience. We had everything we could possibly need. The bus system around the park was amazing. We parked the camper and didn't need to drive again until we departed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
