Grand Canyon Trailer Village RV Park

Can't beat the location! If you need full-hookup, then this is the place to be. However, if you can go without FHU, then Mathers Campground is nicer and much much cheaper. Trailer Village is centrally located. You can easily walk out to the bus stop and take the free shuttle all around South Rim. The market plaza is also not too far. Definitely walkable.

If you stay at Trailer Village don’t expect a to be in nature or you will be sorely disappointed as I was. When I checked in I was assigned site 84 in the last row away from the entrance- I was upset about the long distance we would have to walk to catch the shuttle, but tried to comfort myself with the thought that at least we would have trees at the edge of the park. However, when we drove up we saw a large construction site and orange fencing right across the little street from our site. In addition to the ugly view we were also awakened by construction noises. The RV park has quiet hours but apparently those don’t apply to the construction. The picnic table at our site was also concreted to the ground on the very edge of the little median right where our slider was so if we wanted to use the table at all we would have to pull in the slider and sit right next to our RV. There was plenty of space for the table in another spot, but we couldn’t move it. I was so sad and disappointed when I stayed here. It’s the only game in town so you will probably still stay here after reading this but perhaps you won’t be as disappointed as I was. Also the bathroom didn’t have any toilet paper.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Trailer Village RV Park. We were on our way to CA and decided to detour and visit the Grand Canyon! We were pleasantly surprised! The RV park has full hookups option and it’s surrounded by beautiful pine trees and walking / biking trails! There is a park (free) bus stop and the blue bus can take you to the village or near by restaurant! Or if you chose to walk to the Mather point, you can do that in 15 min! We stayed at site #20 and our camper is 28ft long without the hitch. It was perfect space but more on the right side. The spot was the first one on E street so we didn’t have that many neighbors but made a note that if it was any other space, we would be surrounded by campers. You don’t get your spot until you check in. Not sure if you can request a particular spot! Trash was picked up couple times a day and the place was very clean! No loud or party people. We would love to return for longer!

Fantastic park, clean, great views. Close to the large grocery store that has more than just groceries, it has everything you could ever need camping or hiking. Shower house and laundry is a drive away. There are vault toilets that are walkable.

Great base camp location for all things South Rim of the Grand Canyon! The elk are your neighbors and make sure to not leave your sewer line out the birds will poke holes in the pipe. Sites are pretty sloped be prepared for a lot of leveling, but the location more than compensates!

Only Grand Canyon RV park in GCNP with full hook ups. The Elk will enjoy your water and are not afraid of you. At least not the bigger ones. The amount of Rental RVs and International guests you can’t communicate with is a bit disappointing. You want to help them set up their rental when they have no idea what they are doing, but you can’t communicate (sad). Rental places should do more and stop reserving spots they don’t end up using. A lot of open spots while the park is “full”. 48 hour cancellation policy means you may be able to get last minute spots.

Good park close to the canyon, lots of sites, full hookups. Unfortunately the sites being so plentiful made them very close together. We had to ask someone to move their truck so we could pull through their site to get our 38' trailer into our spot. However if you want to see the canyon and wildlife, this is the place to be, elk came right up to our trailer!

Location awesome...5 min bike ride to the rim! Sites were adequate but not well looked after. Didn't seem to be any maintenance between renters. Sites were not level. Although your pad for your unit was paved, the patio area was dirty gravel.

Great campground with full hookups and space for big rigs inside of the national park. Elk were just walking throughout the campground for the three days we were there. It was really quiet, but we did have somebody steal our bikes along with several others from the campground. I was able to locate them on the other side of the campground where they have some permanent sites for construction workers and seasonal employees. Just make sure to lock up your stuff outside and you should be fine.

The fact that the RV Park is IN the park itself is so cool to me. It’s not overcrowded at all, plenty of space and very quiet and relaxing. Lots of critter footprints and only 1.5 mile hike away from the southern rim of the canyon with some fantastic views. Electric, water, and sewage connections, each space has its own little picnic table

We love trailer village at the Grand Canyon. Full hookups, really convenient access to the store and centrally located so no matter where you want to go, it's easy to get there from your camping spot. In warmer months we don't even bring our towed vehicle, just bikes!

We are traveling and have stayed at a LOT of places across the country. The spots here are very large, the property is incredibly kept and the owners were kind and very knowledgeable about the area. Sincerely, one of the best places we have stayed at. Quiet, safe and we had excellent wifi. Stay here. You are welcome! If you are traveling, travel safe!

We had a great stay! The location is perfect to explore the major sites of the South rim on foot. Campsites with full hookups were great, and driving in and out was a piece of cake.

I loved loved 😍 ❤ this RV park. It has all you need for site hookups including cable TV. Perfect location for exploring the South rim of the park. The elk roamed through different times of the day. The Yavapai Lodge is around the corner which makes the Tavern close for a dinner spot. Also, the general store is there and pretty much has it all.
