This campground is fairly decent and somewhat expensive. But it has location and about everything you need. The sites are good sized with 50AMP/30AMP full hookups along with cable TV. They want you to only put out your sewer hose to dump, since the birds will peck holes in the hose. Elk roam the campground and leave droppings everywhere. The campground is on the shuttle route and you can also walk or ride your bike everywhere. The visitors center is about 1/2 mile away by path. The Rim is just a bit further. The market area, with groceries and more, is about a 1/4 mile. No wifi in the park, but you can go to the Camping Center for that. Verizon barely works here and can be flaky and AT&T does not work. Verizon is strong in the Village area. The campground is often full, so reserve early. If you are under 30' and do not need hookups, there are two other campgrounds in South Rim part of the park, Mather is next door and there is one in Desert View, about 20 miles East.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, even though they were very busy they were warm and inviting. The RV park was set up nicely and is centrally located to just about everything. They have buses that run to the RV camping area and take you just about everywhere in the park. A big plus! Grocery store and market are within working walking distance. Our stay was a wonderful experience. We had elk walk through the first day there. For the most part the campers were respectful and polite. The park had some an amazing job making this area a camping trip to remember.

Fabulous for Grand Canyon. 40ft Fiver fits no problem. Full hookup. Picnic table and grill. Shuttle or walk to the rim. Batman gives it 4 paws 🐾🐾 for trails and dog freindly.

Only RV park inside the Grand Canyon with full hook ups. Leveled sites, clean within walking distance of a couple if restaurants and convenience store. Bus stop at entrance that will take you to all the main areas in the GC. If you dont see any availability online...CALL! Elk were daily visitors so... keep your camera near by😉

This review and these photos are from February 26 through March 2, 2017.This is a really nice place, full hook ups, extremely well-maintained. The day we got there we had a snowstorm through the day and night. They were out the next morning, around 7:20 a.m. plowing the roads for everyone. Employees are really nice. Park is located very close to the Canyon. You can catch shuttle buses by the registration office and go pretty much anywhere on the south rim and into Tusayan. Note, shuttle bus drivers were extremely polite, helpful and nice, can't emphasize that enough because I was shocked. A Market, deli and post office are literally one minute driving or a few minutes walking distance. Cannot wait to go back.
