Staff very friendly and helpful. We had issues with our hitch and maintenance and others in the park couldn't have been more helpful. Location was great and park was clean and maintained. I would stay again.

A very clean and quiet park. Everyone that works there is super friendly. Looking forward to coming back.

We have absolutely loved our month long stay here at Lakeside. The staff have been very nice and great at what they do. The spots are well kept and clean, with the utility hook-up post fully operational and great water pressure! Halloween trick-or-treeters were so much fun to see with so many kiddos! I want to spotlight Cindy, the grounds keeper. First of all, she was so nice to us and such a hard worker. I am very particular about landscaping and park cleanliness. Cindy works so hard to keep it very orderly and maintained. Being here a month, you actually get to see real growth in a park. Trees, shoreline vegetation, grass, and shrubs all need to be maintained. Cindy is on it, and the park looks terrific. If you're in this area, you just can't go wrong with Lakeside RV Resort.

Check-in staff were friendly, inviting, and professional. The location is just off I-12 if you are traveling and need an overnight. Be aware that if you check-in before 2:00 PM there is a $10 service fee. I would have given the park 5-stars except for this rule.

Nice RV park close to Interstate. Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Walked us to our sites and made sure we were lined up and had no issues. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice clean park. Well maintained. Only problem was the non-long term sites back up to a small highway with very big trucks and loud cars.

One of the nicest RV Resort we have ever stayed at. GREAT RV pads with beautiful surroundings, wonderful extra facilities: pool, store, secure bathhouse, golf cart for rent, game room, awesome playground, site pick up of garbage, very helpful staff, excellent location, clean and very well kept. GREAT LOCATION. We will be returning.

The park charges an early check in fee of 30% with NO grace period. There is NO prior notice about the early check in fee until you arrive to check in. The web site or emails received from the park do not state anything about an early check in fee. The park is mainly full time residents. WiFi is difficult to get access to. The only positive about the park is they allow you to wash your RV.

October 2024: Our second stay. When we arrived an hour and 20 minutes early, we were told that there was a $15 charge if we wanted to check in before the 2pm check-in time. We had no knowledge of this fee. Nothing. We decided to wait it out and were moved to a gravel storage lot. It was very hot outside on the day we arrived. Another couple with a 16-year history at the park decided to wait like we did even though their site was open. When we did check in, we received a copy of a copy of a copy of a map of the park with wifi information and our site number. We also received a slip of paper with pet rules. We received no other information...no park rules...no codes for bathrooms, showers, and laundry...nothing. We noticed there was also a note on the counter for seasonal guests that provided them notification of a $22 charge monthly for sewer and water. Odd. Anywhere from 4am to 6am, loud vehicles left the park...we assume they were going to work? Appeared to be many workcampers if that was the case. They do have a dog park with a free dog wash area in it. There was quite a bit of dog poop on the ground in the dog park. Other than that, our last stay in February 2024 was decent as indicated below in the previous review. Suggestion for the campground is to post on the website that there is a $15 charge for early arrival so guests don't waste their time sitting in a gravel lot. And the handout should be more professional...especially since this is considered a resort. All personnel were very kind and helpful. February 2024: Lakeside RV Resort is in Livingston, Louisiana...not far to the East of Baton Rouge and just one hour North of New Orleans. Upon arrival, check in at the office and an escort will guide you to your site. If you roll in when the office is closed, there is a box at the door with a packet containing a map, your site number, and other information. Sites available are long-term or short-term, lake-side, off-lake, pull-thru, single, and cabin. All RV sites are full hookup 30/50 amp with concrete pads and a picnic table. We stayed in a pull-thru site. Amenities include six pet stations with bags available, a coded restroom/shower facility, fire rings on lake-side sites only, a coded laundry facility with six washers at $3.25 per cycle and six dryers at $4.25 per cycle, a playground for the kids, free wifi, an off-lease dog park with an additional pet station, onsite propane, horseshoes, a volleyball area, a basketball area, a dumpster at the entrance and site curb-side trash pickup, a seasonal outdoor pool, aquabana / paddleboat / kayak rentals, a lake for fishing, a nice walking trail around the lake, two pavilions, a game room, a lounge, and an office store. Facilities are kept very clean. Office attendants are cordial and helpful, too.

Was in town working for 3 months. The staff is incredibly friendly, the other residents are all very nice, and the facility is top notch! I highly recommend it!!!

Prices going up and the amenities are non existent. I stopped here for the recent hurricane and am surprised to see that from my previous visit the prices went up and the atmosphere changed negatively. The grass was high enough to be a nuisance when walking our dogs. I recommend travelers just pass this up, this place isn’t what it used to be.

Fantastic RV stay. We came down from Georgia for my son’s ball tournament and decided to bring to the RV. Staff were very friendly. Clean restroom and shower facility. Washer and dryers worked great….pricey but understood. Pool was clean. Pond offered my boys great fishing (catch and release). Would stay here again.

Great overnight stop on our way home from vacation. Right off the highway so easy access. The pull through sites were level so we didn’t have to unhook. The lake/pond with walking trail was really pretty. The kids playground is fully undercover which was a nice touch and my daughter loved. Everything seemed well maintained. Would stay here again.

We had a great time staying here in our camper. I only wish our trip would have allowed us to stay here longer. The kids loved the pool and the playground. My wife and I love walking around the lake. If we are traveling in the area in the future, we will definitely plan to stay here again.

This place approved my RV when I applied and sent pictures then after only being there 12 days I was left a voice mail by the GM named Hope which was rude and very judgmental that my camper did not meet standards. Then while talking to staff they verified that she just did not like the fact my boyfriend had tattoos on his face. Because they have seen campers a lot worse than mine in there. I would not recommend this place if you don’t want to be judged and had to pay someone to bring the camper to the park.
