What a nice place! The staff was super friendly. The main lodge for check in/ store & game room/ entrainment area was AWESOME! This place is definitely on my list to come back to when in the area of any of the Springs of N. FLORIDA. Large sites. Shade trees. Quiet. Clean. The bathrooms were VERY nice. Worth the $.

I would like to give a special out to Moonshine Acres RV Park. My husband and I came from NC to purchase an RV. We’re new to the RV world so we had some challenges. Long story short we had difficulty with getting our RV hitched. I know it wasn’t their job to do, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got our RV hitched, gave us 1:1 tutorial on RV’s, fed us, checked on us frequently and most importantly they were patient. When I tell you there’s still good people in the world I can’t say enough. The Lord sent us angels Joe, Johny, Jodi, and Minerva. The words “thank you” doesn’t express our gratitude. May God continue to bless you all. The park is well kept with game room, picnic area and golf cart rentals. Perfect location to the shopping mall and restaurants. Definitely worth every penny and we will be coming back to enjoy the river and springs again. Did I mention the glamping cabins look amazing. Please visit them you won’t be disappointed. I would give them 5,000, 000,000,000 stars if I could😃🙏🏽

Cute campground, general store, nice outdoor family games, and clean restrooms and showers. This is a great location for proximity to the springs. There is a bike path the whole way which was perfect for us to not need the truck. Would stay again and really appreciated the friendly service from the hosts.

Awesome RV park !! A++++ They are quick to respond with any assistance you need to enjoy your stay. Waterslides for the kids all weekend long and the sites are excellent. Small store for any goodies you may have forgotten or treats you want to purchase. Activities over the weekend included fun arts and crafts, karaoke, and corn hole. The bathrooms make you feel like you are in a luxury resort. Pair that with the location next to Itchuknee state park and you can't go wrong.

Nice spot next to Ichetucknee Springs. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The campground was clean and well maintained. The spots were a little close together but had full hookups. Nice clubhouse with pool and ping pong tables.

Very nice park with excellent staff. Clubhouse, family bathrooms, etc were all relatively new and very clean. We drove through several of the other campgrounds in the area (one specifically named after the springs) and were extremely glad that we chose this one. Stayed in spaces 71 & 72 - designed for two campers with a gazebo in the middle. Would not consider staying anywhere else in the area.

Very well kept and clean campground. Staff is very friendly and there are amenities galore such as pool and ping pong tables, a few arcade games, corn hole boards, dvd's to watch and some books to read. The beautiful club house is open 24/7 as well to enjoy these. The bath rooms and showers are very clean and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our Memorial Day weekend there relaxing and exploring the beautiful nearby springs at the State Park. Would highly recommend staying here for your next camping trip. We can't wait to go back again

The campground wasn't a bad place to stay to visit the local springs. The road noise was a little loud but was manageable. Our site wasn't very even and the sites are very close together. Loved the full hook up, and the club house was a nice touch. Disappointed they haven't even broken ground on the pool yet. Had a nasty storm come through one afternoon and our camper was about 2 feet away from being hit by branches from a dead tree on the site. Campground is aware of the dead tree and they said they just haven't been able to keep the site empty long enough to cut down the tree, which I find is extremely irresponsible! Thats a huge liability and safety issue. Had our camper been back two more feet our kids have been potentially hurt by the branches. They need to block the site off for a few days and get the dead trees removed!

This quaint little park was fantastic. The staff was so personable. They have a great facility. The buildings, bathrooms, and campsites were spotless. You didn't have any worries about using the facilities as they were as clean as the ones on your house. I can't say enough about the staff. Each interaction was genuine and we will definitely be coming back to this park.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Moonshine Acres. Spacious and shady sites. In ground fire pits. The clubhouse, and patio area was really nice. Excellent wifi, we had no lag streaming. Our guests used the bathrooms and showers, they are private, modern, large, and very clean. We would love to come back with friends and use the awesome Buddy-sites. We spent two days tubing and kayaking at Ichetucknee Springs and that is a must do!!! We also enjoyed Pink Flamingo Diner, High Springs Brewery, and DB Dough food truck in High Springs, very close by.

Nice park, but don't enforce quiet time at 10:30. Tonight we have 3 golf carts full of kids riding around fast and loud. And, here it is 2 in the morning still doing it. Can't get any sleep and have a long drive sunday morning.

Arrived on a rainy rainy day to find I did a little mishap of booking a grass spot instead of a padded spot. This was just not going to work with a 100 pound Labrador. We spoke with the owner who was totally workable and a really nice gentleman. We will be back for sure when the weather is dryer !!!! Thank you for the great talk and looking forward to possible future endeavors.

Very nice RV PARK but a little pricey. Extremely quiet at night and very roomy lot sizes. Great wifi and lodge area. Laundry facility needs expansion only 2 washers and 2 dryer's and the one washer steals quarters every time but office quick to reimburse. Would be 5 stars if price matched the amenities. Would return and great camp hosts.

Moonshine Acres is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is great and very friendly. Cappy the manager is the heart and soul of this campground. We stayed there for 10 weeks and was very sad to leave. Would highly recommend this campground to everyone. We are booked again for next winter. Can’t say enough good about this place. You feel like family your entire visit.

Loved staying here. Everyone who works there is super friendly and loves dogs - and will give them tons of treats. Most of the rv spaces are a little bigger than you'd find at most private parks. I really liked all the community amenity spaces and events they do to get people to mingle - I travel alone so I like chances to get to know others. The springs are only a short drive or bike ride away. Road noise can be a little loud but if you are inside with your AC on you don't really hear it - we stayed toward the front of the park too. The staff was also incredibly helpful and nice when my black tank spilled a little and I needed help checking on my dogs because my marcell app was (incorrectly) telling me it was 87 in the rv. Definitely plan to be back.
