Third time visiting. It's always a great time and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Great location next to Itchatucknee river North and South entrances. Can't wait to go back next year.

Well maintained, clean and inviting. Our family and some friends stayed in one of the glamping tents. Spacious, raised floors, small fridge, lights, air conditioner, covered porch and comfortable beds with linens. The bathrooms are fantastic!! We made good use of the fire ring and the grills onsite with a surprisingly few bugs bothering us. The game room/gathering area were enjoyed by all, comfortable and wonderfully decorated. A small store with good choices for all and necessities. Close to so many great springs. You could stay for a week and never visit the same place twice. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

We stayed in the glamping tents and they were wonderful! It was the end of September and the two ACs kept our space cool enough during the day and even chilly at night. Our tent had a medium size fridge and Keurig coffee pot. They are very roomy and comfortable. The bathhouses are cute and well kept (don't forget to bring your own hand soap though). The recreation room is so nice and our son had blast playing pool and ping-pong. Ichetucknee Springs Park is only 5 minutes away and absolutely beautiful.

Got here yesterday for our first vacation in years. The kids have had a blast. Staff has been amazing. No hunting for your campsite. They guide you straight to it. Septic is readily available at each camper site. The bathrooms are very nice. Randy, with the staff, was very nice and he stops and says hi if we're out. The highway is close, but noise wasn't an issue for us. The game room was a lifesaver for our older kids. They also have a nice pet area for high energy dogs that's very well fenced and provide accommodations if you forget your poo bags. The fire rings are very nice and the picnic tables are in very good condition. The playground is great for the younger littles. Overall we've had a great time here. Only "extras" I would recommend are maybe a splash pad and a swing. If you forget something, they do have a little store on site also. We came from Tennessee and will use this site anytime we camp here. Site 29 also has a beautiful little fence.

We had a short stay over Memorial Day weekend and wished we had the time to extend our stay. What a wonderful rv resort! The owner is so welcoming. We loved the fact that he put together an entire packet that included brochures for the town, a calendar of local events, a local magazine/guide and a newspaper. If that wasn’t enough, his daughter bakes sourdough bread for the guests. The host was equally welcoming and the property is immaculate. We had the most beautiful view and our stay was so relaxing. We will definitely return.

Redefining camping at its best by offering a central lodge for activities and meetups. If you are a paying visitor of legal age you can even bring beverages. The restrooms and showers along with the gift shop are also located at the lodge. The lodge is grand and maintains its fresh cut wood smell. Truthfully to some it will seem out of place for Florida, most campsites have pool and bath at best and maybe a small clubhouse. The sites locations are decent too. The graveled section of the park seems pretty level. The northwestern side close to hwy27 is not as prepared and some sites are not leveled. All but a few select sites are in the hot sun most of the day. Hwy 27 has trails and off-road action taking place right across the street. This is not affiliated with the travel park but it can be a disturbance at night. Final thoughts; there is no place else like it! Come see for yourself. Tent sites and yurts are also available.

We went camping with friends for an extended weekend. Fairly nice campground. Check in was smooth. Very nice clubhouse. Bathroom facilities very nice and clean. We had a premium pull through lot with some trees. That was helpful since it was pretty warm. The campground and the campsites set very close to Hwy 27. The road noise did not really bother us but you do hear it. They have plans for a pool but as of right now do not have one. Other than the road noise it was a very quiet campground.we enjoyed the campground and spending time with friends. We would go back.

Enjoyable and convenient place to stay. Close to fishing and the springs for water adventures. Great hiking and exploring in local state parks.

My husband & I began out trip home after spending the winter in FL. We were driving our 37' motorhome and pulling a tow vehicle. The winds were horrible and relentless. Gusts above 30 mph. We decided to end the driving battle. I searched for a campground/RV park to stop at. Moonshine Acres had great reviews. I called at 11:30 am. I explained our situation and asked if they had a site available, which they did. I said we were 30 minutes away and asked if it was possible to get an early check in. The very kind, cheerful and understanding lady on the phone took her time looking. She did have a spot available for early check in. We were assigned a site that had full hookups and was perfectly level. It had a picnic table and fire pit. Although the roads in the park are gravel, they are easy to navigate. The sites are all angled and easy to access. We had a pull thru which was perfect for our overnight stay. The park has a nice playground for the kids, a gorgeous office, game room, camp store. All housed in a fancy, new log cabin style building. A patio out back with a nice public fire pit. They offer Glamping Tents as well as campsites. Their paperwork indicated a pool was to be added. It was quiet, clean and the other campers were very friendly. It was a great place for kids to play. There are numerous springs and rivers with tubing close by. The campground has partnered with a local business to offer pick up at the campsite for tubing. We weren't able to take advantage of these activities, but we would love to return to take take them in. It's a bit of a drive from the Interstate, but very easy to find. We would definitely stay here again. The friendly customer service they extended to us made us fans.

Everything about Moonshine Acres was exactly as described in their Website. Service was excellent, RV sites were spacious and well maintained. Showers clean, modern while still maintaining the rustic park feel. The large Log Cabin guest area offers a great selection of things to do, or if you prefer just relax. Everyone worked as a team to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. Keep up the good work. Ed & I highly recommend Moonshine Acres RV Park.

Excellent little place my wife and I found to RV and do a little shopping in High Springs nearby.
