Check in was pleasant, well- organized, and friendly. Office contains small store with merch and more. No-frills sites are clearly marked, FHU with no issues. While still cleaning up from Hurricane Helene, which brought down a number of trees, it was evident that they valued order and were quickly restoring a tidy park. Several pull- through buddy sites shared a common outdoor patio and seating area. If visiting nearby Ichetucknee Springs SP, this is by far the preferred campground.

We have stayed here multiple times and have had amazing experiences the previous times however this was a different experience. The park was great, clean and the staff was friendly ,But there was a large group of campers that kept walking, kids riding bikes through our camp site. Said something to campers and up at the office and nothing changed they kept doing it.

Our favorite place to camp! Cappy is the best, always helpful and cheerful! Beautiful park, large sites! Buddy sites. Glamping Tents too! Amazing clubhouse! Bring your golf cart 50 miles of trails to ride! **UpDATE** 11/13/2024 just spent another 2 weeks at this beautiful RV park! We so love it here, never disappoints! Thanks Ryan! Missing Cappy :( Highly recommend! If you are near this area stop in and check it out, old world Florida at its best!

While escaping Milton we had the honor of finding this amazing RV camp for an extended stay. First the people are truly kind and supportive. We needed to extend our days twice because of the issue with the hurricane and they were amazing to make it work for us. The actual camp is super cute and very spacious. Lots are huge. Not a lot of artificial lighting (which we loved!. The place is so clean even after Helene’s impact a few weeks prior. The rec center they built is amazing. Pool tables, ping pong, a lovely TV and bar set. The office is clean and they have supplies! We didn’t use the restrooms but assuming they meet the same requirements. They also have these neat glamping tents on one side of the park that look really upscale and neat to stay in for those who want to experience the park who don’t have their own RV. Overall we will def book again and truly are thankful for finding this GEM as part of our escape plan for the hurricane.

We stayed here in our RV while attending a wedding nearby. This park is well maintained and conveniently located. Staff are polite and professional. I would highly recommend this RV park and we will definitely be back when we can stay longer and enjoy the nearby state park.

I evacuated with my daughter, son in law and my 2 grandsons here here this week from Milton. After A day of trying to find a place to take my 43" 5th wheel I booked here and could not have been happier! It was such a stressful time and they definitely helped relieve some of the stress. Tina called shortly after we booked concerned about trees by the spot I had picked and was willing to hold a different site incase we didn't want the original spot. Later my other daughter and grandsons evacuation plans fell thru and they were about to come up and join us. We had spot 70 with my camper, the truck that pulled it and 2 other trucks with plenty of room. The park was nice and quiet and the neighbors were helpful. They had a nice little playground to help occupy the kids and my 2 year old grandson loved just riding his bike all around. The dogs also very much enjoyed the dog park. I just bought my 5th wheel a few months ago so this was out first time actually camping in it. We've already talked about booking again for an actual vacation to go to some of the springs and State parks in the area. Thank you Tina for your kindness in what was a very stressful time!

Very well maintained campground! Very impressed with the bathrooms, they're nicer than mine at home 😂 It felt like I was walking into a spa shower, definitely the nicest bathhouse I've ever seen at a campground. The road in front is noisy, but wasn't a dealbreaker. The location is PRIME if you plan on visiting Ichetucknee Springs. It's only 3 minutes away. The clubhouse is awesome! I love the lounge area and all the games available for campers. I enjoyed this campground so much that I already booked a return trip while I was still there. Looking forward to returning in a few months. The staff is kind and are very helpful, so you will be well taken care of!! Update: August 2024 I continue to stay at Moonshine Acres and have another trip planned in October! Unfortunately on our last visit, Hurricane Debby caused residual flooding that closed the river for tubing/activities. Nothing to do with the RV park, just check the local park websites the day before you go in case you have to pivot your plans. On this stay at the park, the staff were incredibly helpful as usual and the maintenance worker came to help me in a pinch on check out morning, when my water hose would just not disconnect from the pole. Everyone is friendly and the facilities are well-maintained. I'll keep coming here as long as they're here!

We loved this campground. Clean, well maintained, not crowded and plenty of space in between campers. Kids had a blast driving their bicycles around. Plenty of activities for kiddos and safe

Lovely RV park. The 2 family bathrooms were clean and nice. The lots are spacious. The wifi pw is too long🤣 The attendant and the lodge was very nice. Each site has electric and sewer. We enjoyed taking the bike path to the state park. Only thing that would have been better is a pool😉

Great location, literally minutes away from the Ichetucknee Spring State Park. Very clean, well maintained RV park with modern facilities and super kind, helpful staff and a nice little camp store. The town was close by with everything we could need, and everyone was friendly. Definitely would stay here again!

Tina was fantastic. The campground, facilities and general surrounding were clean and well-done. Friendly staff and convenient location. Safe town and pleasant people. The lawn mowing can be a bit annoying especially when someone has to take a phone call.

Beautiful Campground that is clean and well manicured. The sites are very level and spaced nicely. My only negative comment is the lack of shade.

Nice campground. Unfortunately, we were passing through and didn't spend a ton of time there. However, what limited time we spent there, we definitely enjoyed. Great game room and small playground for the kids.

Unprofessional. We had an emergency with our RV and could not bring it. We thought we could Tent camp, we're informed we could not. We were told we could get a partial refund from the woman working there. The next day I called to discuss I was told I had to tell that employee by 7pm the night before or forfeit all of our payment. That was no specified and we were told there was nothing to do, no alternative dates. Would never recommend

Just spent a weekendhere. Very clean with level gravel sites, big rig friendly. Restrooms and showers were clean. very quiet except for some road noise from the highway...would recommend staying to the back, very close to Ichetucknee springs and a couple of bike trails, would recommend both. We found a dive bar that had great bloody Mary's close by called the keg room, worth a visit if you like that. The staff at the campground was very nice and friendly. We like tubing at the springs so will def be back!
