Nice Peaceful and beautiful views , came here from New York to see the Mets vs the Pirates very convenient to the city. Pittsburgh is a great city to visit. Also The family that own and run the camp ground are very nice and friendly. I met Gary & Gregg very friendly and nice people. I would recommend and come back here.

As full timers we see a wide variety of campgrounds and Mountain Top Campground is an incredible family owned facility. The campground is extremely well kept and the owners entire family hospitality is infectious. Close to the city but you’d never know by the beautiful rural setting. We will be staying here any time we’re back in Pittsburg!

This has to be the quietest campground ever. My gosh the birds wake you up, NO ROAD NOISE. This is a slice of heaven. The family owners keep the place up and are always there to help you. This is our go-to place for Pittsburgh. I miss it already.

HORRIBLE customer service. Edit: I did not get to stay here because of the horrible customer service. The website said that on weekends, they require a multiple night stay. Well, I called on a Monday and asked if there were any spots available for the night. The lady I spoke with replied and asked how long we were wanting to stay, when I responded with one night, her tone changed and she told me they were fully booked. I then asked well what if I wanted to stay 2 nights. She said that was fine because there are trying to only book multiple nights. So..... there WAS a spot available. She just did not want to book it for one night. She was extremely rude. I told her the website said that was only a rule on the weekends.

Beautiful little campground! My fiancé Dogs & I had a wonderful extended weekend! The Staff is friendly and helpful! If you want to be away from it all than this is your place.

This place is perfection! If you like quiet and simple, this is your spot! The people running it are all so nice and helpful. You can tell they take pride in their work. An easy 25 minutes from the city on top of a gorgeous Mountain. This is our first time and if we ever come back to this area, this will DEFINITELY be our spot!

Camp ground is quiet and clean. Owners are friendly and helpful. This is a great no frills campground. Great location close to Pittsburgh. I have stayed here several times and will return.

Wonderful, helpful management, gorgeous views, and super easy, convenient hookups. Perfect spot for newbie trailer-campers like us. We came here for our first trip, will definitely be back!

Beautiful and amazing views open spaces not crowded. The owner Gary is super helpful and friendly. We were gonna move but in comparison to what we saw near the cracker plant... not worth giving up this quiet secluded on a mountain campground.

My husband and I were driving to Virginia for our daughter's small, outdoor wedding and pulled into this campground right before a beautiful sunset. The views were gorgeous! Our site was quiet and clean. We were checked in by Greg - he brought us a longer cord so we could plug in and sold us some wood. The next morning, we awoke to a flat tire. Not only did Greg help with putting air in the tire, he recommended a nearby tire shop and called them to say we were coming. We were definitely in good hands that day and we made it to the wedding.

Thank you Mountain Top Campground/Mix family!! Great hospitality, incredible views on backside of campground, nice little hiking path through the fields on campground property, quiet (scenic & challenging) roads for cycling. Great mountain biking only a 30 minute drive away as well. The lots are very nice, level, fresh gravel with plenty of space. Mountainp Top Campground is perfect for those seeking the quiet and relaxing getaway. If one must connect the cell service and campground Wi-Fi are good as well!

This is a quaint campground with stunning views and very well maintained grounds. Camp sites are nicely spaced And the owner Gary is extremely accommodating, he gave us a choice of sites, escorted us to it and ensured we could hook up successfully. Even offering extensions if ours weren’t long enough (never seen this level hospitality before at a campground). Highly recommend staying here. Thanks Gary!
