My family and I stayed here last weekend. Its only 30 min from Pittsburgh and visiting the city was the nature of our trip. The owners go above and beyond to make the experience great. When i made the reservation I told them I may be arriving late. The day of expected arrival I received a call to contact them. I guess I expected a problem with my reservation. Not here. He wanted to give me instructions so I would easily find my site. When I arrived there a notice written on the board outside the office specifically to me giving me instructions through the campground. He even set cones up between the drive of my site to help. Thanks for the great experience!

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 5 nights in a site for big rigs during the rainy season. We were in the back of the park and had a beautiful cliff view, but it was so not worth it! The site was a mud pit (no gravel). We were stressing over our back four tires sinking deeper and deeper. They do have a couple sites that had fresh-gravel (in the center of the park but with no view. I wouldn’t recommend staying on the outside-loop if you plan on being there in rainy conditions. Do not stay in the back if it’s going to rain until they re-gravel those sites. The park is flat so it looked like most of the sites were level. Our satellite worked great here. The management is very nice and the park is located in a quiet area. If you have a dog there’s ample area to walk your pet. On a side note: Today we live in the age of wifi technology and there is nothing to stop this RV park from investing in doing wifi. For some users (such as ourselves) wifi is an important feature.

Great little campground. Staff is super nice. We used this as a one night layover campground. Very basic no frills campground with great views. Very close to Pittsburgh.

Nice mountaintop campground, although not recommended for kids as there is nothing to do here but stargaze. Close to small towns and short drive to downtown Pittsburgh. Owners are very nice and helpful.

This is a beautiful campground and we really enjoyed our weekend away. It is close to the strip district in Pittsburgh and other shopping. It's very peaceful and relaxing! We will be coming back in a few weeks because we enjoyed our time on top of the mountain 😊👍

Love this place!! It was our very first outing in our new TT and since we only lived 10 miles away we figured it was perfect. Well it was! The views around the rim of this property are breathtaking. I was able to watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset at night, and to top that off it was a full moon our first night there. Management was awesome and they work very hard all day to make improvements as they were plumbing for a new bath house build. Shout out to Gary from the "Newbies"! We are absolutely going back in the Fall. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

It is an RV park but at the end of the park there is one very cute cozy cabin to rent. Clean modern with electric and running water. 1 bedroom but there is futon and cot. Screened in porch with beautiful mountain view. Also picnic table and seating outside around fire pit. All the comforts of the country but still close enough to enjoytoffee city. Better than hotel!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Super great site and they allowed us to drive front first so boy did we have a view to die for!! The park owners were amazingly helpful- super nice! They were such a help with directions and referrals for RV and auto repair. They also shared all the new things they have planned for 2018 to make the park even better!

The owners are amazing! They will help you with anything that they can. I can't say enough good things about them. We stayed Sept-Dec. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets on a daily basis. A quiet getaway from the city. We will definitely be going back when we get the chance.

We have been staying here for years in our motorhome. It is safe & Q quier. Èd & FRAN owners live here. Ñow they are nearly full with pipeline workers from all over. Ìt is the only RV park in the area 2017. New owners, the Mix family are wonderful. They are improving little by little without changing the peaceful, quiet surroundings of nature at its best. Always look forward to our annual visit! Yes, sewer hook ups would be great, but we get by with a weekly pump out, and can fully understand why it would be cost prohibitive.

Absolutely fantastic campground. Great views and excellent service. The owners called ahead to warn of the weather and were very helpful throughout our stay.

Owners are really friendly/helpful. They made sure we enjoyed our stay, even though it was a really bad week, weather wise. They even came out and tried to help us set up our tent during a really bad storm, that blew in while we were setting up.

Stayed with my brother and his family for a weekend in their RV. It had a beautiful view. The owners at very nice. I don't know anything about campgrounds, but my brother and his wife seemed to be happy with what was available.

The owners of this place are the sweetest folks around . The camp is sort of small with great views . We met and made some good friends here . I would stay here again in a second .

It's $650/month but in the winter it jumps up to $750. Only a couple sites are full hookups, the rest are water & electric. There's trash on site and you are responsible for your own propane as well. If your looking to save this is not the place. Frog Hollow is a couple miles from here and they're only $300/month. We would be there if it wasn't always full...there openings are very rare. There's nothing to do here. No amenities. However, the owner will let you do laundry and shower in her basement. There's one bathroom and many people use it. Also you are about 15 minutes away from shopping. The campground is very empty. People that were here left due to the prices. So if your looking for expensive, quiet and beautiful views, this is the place for you! Also, the 9 photos posted by the owner are false! None of that is here. I posted 3 pictures I took today. And for the prior reviews, they were made when this place was cheaper and there was the blue grass festival that always took place here...none of that is still around. This place fell apart. The owner has been trying to sell, and this place is currently listed....maybe when it's sold it will get better and cheaper.
