The sites are well maintained, large patio to stay hooked to vehicle, but more importantly the owner is kind, polite and provided excellent customer service at check-in!

We were there as a halfway point on our way to Florida Keys. We came in late, and they had welcome bags waiting for us at the bear out front! We left early the next morning and wished we could stay. Nice little campground!

Water pressure is 95, so it was not worth the risk to hook up to it, even with a regulator. The spots are level. Staff is friendly.

We booked this as an overnight as we were traveling and just wanted the comfort of a KOA with full hookups and a pull through to make things easy, in case we didn't want to unhitch. We arrived on a Sunday at 12:30 to find we couldn't check in until 1pm even though the email we received the day before from them said checkin started at 12pm so that wasn't great. I called the manager and he checked us into our pull through site over the phone and was apologetic and nice and said they knew the time was wrong and didn't know why it hadn't been changed. When we pulled into our site however it was disappointing as the site wasn't long enough and we did have to unhitch. (See picture) When you get a pull through the expectation is that you won't have to unhitch if you don't want to. The employee who did show up just after 1pm did offer for us to park in the site right next to ours and apologized for not being there sooner. When we hooked up our water the pressure was really high so be aware. When I went to get our park map that we didn't get when we checked in, the employee warned us about the high water pressure which was a little too late, luckily we have a pressure regulator. To their credit, even though it's clearly an older KOA, it is very pretty and looks well maintained and our dog loved the dog park, bring your own water for Fido. Just don't checkin on a Sunday and your experience would probably be ok.

Extremely close to others. Would not be all toextend awning. One way road with rigs parked in opposite directions.. would get stuck on narrow road having to go opposite direction.

I found this KOA very nice considering it seems a older. The restroom/shower was very clean and the building had and older smell to it which was not a bad thing. the host was wonderful, friendly and very accommodating. I had site 1 which actually had nicely cut grass and the pond sitting area was a great spot to chill. I would definitely come back here.

Tiny rental spots for RV. I could watch my neighbors TV. Good to be here only one night.

Love this quaint KOA! Have been here 3 times, in an RV. They also offer tent sites and cabins. It’s close to Ed Lisenby State Park, Dothan, and Enterprise (for Sat. Farmers Market & other shopping) The staff is friendly and helpful, and this cg has several different types of camping sites, depending on what you’re looking for. The koi pond is lovely, as well as the pool, playground, immaculate bathhouse and laundry. The office/campground store is awesome with necessities and souvenirs. There is propane and fire wood for purchase. The dog park is big and well kept, a nice size playground, and there is a beautiful lake to walk around with colorful lights at night. Posting pics from Fall in November, and some from Summer in July.

A little gem. Very clean and well kept. Traveling from MN to FL, stayed 1 night. Easy in/out access. We arrived after office hours but staff had called us and let us know they would have paperwork and directions to our site on office door. Easy turns for 43’ 5th wheel. Pad was level and long enough for our extra vehicle. Community fire pit. Lots of trees surrounding area. Cute walking path that is lit up at night and dog friendly. We plan on staying here again when we head back north.

We evacuated Florida due to Hurricane Milton. Sites are level, clean, staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, treated us like family. Laundry, pool, showers all spotless. Couldn't have asked for a better place to go. We will definitely be back, this time for vacation!

This is a very nice KOA. The ladies bathroom/shower is spacious and clean. The slots are a bit close together but fully paved with mature trees. Would recommend this KOA Journey.

We always stay here for 1 night going to Florida. But this time we had to evacuate for Milton, I can not say enough about this campground. They treated us like family. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable…even pizza for lunch one day and had a barbecue one night.

My husband and I came here from Chiefland, Florida to escape hurricane Milton. What a wonderful experience! Tony, the person manages the park, bent over backwards to make us feel at home. From now on we will stop here going back to Ky. Thank You and all employees for everything!!

Tony has been amazing. We are another camper waiting to return safely to our home in Florida. We originally booked two nights, but after Milton we desired to stay two additional nights to let the towns and roads clear the debris. He went out of his way to find us an opens spot after one of the campers left early. The campground was full of Floridians escaping from Milton. The park and the residents ,went out of their way to make us feel home. Tony provided pizza for all of us, rented a bouncy house for the children and then a cookout for all of us. We will definitely put this KOA on our list of places to come again. Thanks to all.
