Our GPS veered us off course the last 1/2 mile of the trip leading us through a residential area. When we arrived at 4:30, the lady at the front desk had already put our paperwork in the after hours drop box (They weren't scheduled to close the front office until 5:00--apparently in a hurry to leave) I told her about the GPS instructing us to turn down the wrong road, and she said, "Yeah, I don't know why it does that." When we set up, another camper told us, " You'll want to do something about the sugar ants. They are a problem in this campground." And she was RIGHT! Within an hour, there were ants in the kitchen, bathroom and in our BED. By this time, the staff had gone home for the night, so we couldn't tell anyone. Luckily, we had ant traps in our supplies and that solved the problem quickly enough, so we didn't mention it to the staff. Now let's talk about tree frogs. I sleep with earplugs at night, so they didn't bother me. They did bother my husband. He struggled through the night trying to use a set of my earplugs, but couldn't sleep because of loud chirping/croaking by these frogs at the koi pond. We also had no luck getting cable television. Everything seemed to be hooked up correctly, but still couldn't access it. We asked the staff for help, but they said they didn't know what the problem was. We stayed two nights. One night of ants. Two nights of frogs. Two nights of no television.

This was my 2nd time staying here. Huge dog park, very clean park. Some historical pieces on the property to explore, great walking trail, and pond to relax by. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here long term for 4 months. Our kids fell in love with the owner and the staff. They always took a moment to stop and interact with us, creating wonderful friendships. I cannot express how truly wonderful everyone here is. The sites are maintained incredibly well, everything is super clean and there's always someone there to help. We will miss this place dearly, but miss the people even more.

First time staying here, have we ever been missing out on a great KOA campground. The customer service is second to none. Taken to site by the owner and made sure all was well; she even wiped the electric/ water stand off. WOW !! first time that ever happened. Counter lady was on her A game, even made sure we had a water pressure regulator (water Pressure is 90 PSI) This will be our first and last stop going to and from Michigan.

We had a wonderful stay. Mgr Lori and her entire staff was both helpful & extremely friendly. The campground was well maintained with both clean bathroom, laundry & pool. The sites are very large.

A little tight but maneuverable. This KOA is clean and well maintained. The young lady that works here was very pleasant and helpful. She filled our propane tank. She got us a spot by moving some folks around and we appreciated her help. We knew it was going to be difficult finding a place to park as the hurricane Ian had caused mass evacuation.

We only stayed for one night but we will definitely be back. It has all the amenities you could ask for including a nice pool and dog park. Very reasonably priced. The best part was how quiet it was. We will definitely be back!

The place is a nice location, the employees are super helpful and very nice. Even came by to welcome us at the tent site. We stayed by the pond for 2 nights it was very beautiful and the bathrooms are super clean and are individual bathrooms for women. The only down side are the ants which are all over the place but they are just the ones that one the sweets so not to worry they don’t bite and also there is a military base close by which there are Helicopter practices around and also a train passing by around 9:15. However, we had unexpected rain and it was pretty muddy. Other than that it’s a good location to stay one or two nights to reach the next destination. The pool was dirty I think because of the rain but the rest was good.

Very nice KOA park , not real quite because close to busy 231 and Fort Rucker, but nice pull through sites by a nice little pond. The owner and staff are very nice the park is very clean. The bathhouse was closed for quite a long time for cleaning, but they were very clean. Great place to stop for a one night or a few. PJV

This was the cutest little campground. The manager was so friendly and efficient. I asked about a site with a picnic table and firepit and she gave us what had to be the best one there! Site #27 was perfect. It had a view of the little bridge and pond, a gazebo, table and chairs. And yes, a firepit. Fun times!
