I can't thank the staff and residents enough on how great they have treated all of us affected by the hurricanes. They remember all the kids' names and are helping us all out with anything they can. They bought the campsite pizza one day and now have a bounce house set up for the kids to enjoy. It feels very homey and safe here. Hands down an amazing place to stay and close to many stores and attractions. They have a pool, playground, dog park and beautiful pond to enjoy.

Awesome place! We came to evacuate from Hurricane Milton. The campground was full of evacuees. The manager bought the entire site pizza, and is going to have a BBQ tomorrow. I was working on my computer in the common area, and Tony (the manager) came up to me and handed me a piece of pound cake. He said, “you look like you needed this. It’s homemade”. The caring of the folks who run the place knows no bounds. Do not overlook this place!!

I have been staying here for almost 4 months now. I am a travel nurse and use the facility to keep my camper at and a few weekends my family comes and stays. My space is overwhelmed with mosquitoes, back corner lot #29. It backs up to the drainage ditches of the campsite and has a large amount of standing water. I have sprayed twice as well as the park and they are still coming in swarms. I cannot be outside my camper for more than 5 minutes until I have several on me. They provide internet, it is spotty and more often than not out of service. I am a long term stay so I don’t complain much. I work at night so the office is closed when I come in from work and closed when I leave.

Fort Rucker KOA is a must stop if you can. The owners are friendly and helpful. Very clean campground. Beautiful color changing lights on the back of the pond to watch at night. Sites in the back have plenty of shade. Close to Ozark and only 25-30 minutes to Dothan. We will definitely stay here again. Very peaceful. Talked with campers who are repeat visitors here.

Lori, Tony and staff were very helpful when we needed a place to stay while our house was being renovated. We enjoyed our time we spent there. It is very peaceful! Check out the Ozark/Ft Rucker KOA in Ozark, AL. You won’t regret it.

First time staying at a KOA. Since we were traveling with 2 dogs, we thought we would try it. We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin with half bath. The cabin was nicer than some motels we have stayed in. Very nice updated room with an American theme. Tony was very pleasant and helpful as we checked in making sure we knew how to work everything and where everything was in park. Cabin was very clean and well kept. Dog park was big with lots of room to run. Complimentary coffee with keurig. I would definitely stay again!!

Our stop-over en route to & fro Indian Pass, Port St. Joe, FLA, 4 years running! (nicknamed Rucker @ Fort O'zark or Bama RukArk - BRA) Consistently, the grounds are landscaped & clean, as is bath house & laundry, well-lit, easy to navigate & maneuver. They like furry pet travellers but not inconsiderate owners - carry poop bags on walks !! Dancing colored lights across the pond make mood for twilight romance! Staff is top-notch, too. Made reservations for our Fifth Year, Summer 2025. Highly recommend a visit! Melinda G. Nashville, TN

Good place to stop for sure. We only got to be there one night, but our site was ready for us, and it was level and easy in and out in the morning. The dog park was well lit and plenty big. The little pond was nice and lit up at night.

This koa seems to be an in-between destination for people going home North or going further south. It's clean and they have a great fenced in area for dogs. Nice people. Sites are concrete or asphalt. Easy in and out.

This is a very nice, well organized K.O.A The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Always on the grounds maintaining the cleanliness of the areas and facilities. We've stayed here three years in a row while we visited with friends. And plan to again in the future.

Easy on and off the US Hwy. Well maintained campground with clean level sites under some tall pine trees. Short walking trail around a pond. It's nice to be able to walk in pleasant safe surroundings after a day on the road. Nice pool and playground. Arrivals are ushered to the sites. An unusual amenity is an old tornado/hurricane/bomb shelter from the 60s that is still maintained and available if ever needed. We stayed here on the way down to Florida and on the way back in a class A with towed vehicle.

This is one of my favorite spots when heading to Florida. Beautifully landscaped ,2 ponds, lots of trees, beautifully lit with decorative lighting. Awesome dog park. Paved sites with patios. Very friendly accommodating staff! Gets a 5 from me!
