The campground was well Maintained with level roomy sites. We stayed on site 9 and had a large opened area between us and other camper. Large well lit dog park. It was too far to walk to but had several benches. Pond was pretty especially at night. Did not use bath or laundry. Guy at desk was extremely nice. Def stay again

Stayed (1) night/Jan 8th, 2024. We made a last minute reservation online. We were not going to make it to the campground before closing but the host reassured us she'd wait until we'd arrive. Sure enough, there she was waiting on us when we got there. Thank you so much for that!! Despite the severe thunderstorms and Tornado Warning, we felt safe; we were accommodated right next to the Storm Shelter in case of need. This campground is amazingly beautiful! We will definitely be back and plan to stay longer. A+ is what we rate Ozark/Fort Rucker KOA Journey!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The campground was clean with a cute lighted pond. We would definitely stay here again. As a side note, we had dinner at DiFilippos Pizza & it was delicious.

Rv campground was very friendly and clean but had a very unleveled spot . My class A was able to level but right rear dual wheels were off ground. Not the safe way to park a motorhome. I would ask for a better sight in future. I was a one night stay otherwise would have moved.

Stayed for one night on our way to Florida and really enjoyed it. The property is very clean and well kept. We stayed in a long pull through site with plenty of room. There is a nice walking trail on the property as well as a very nice dog park that is lit up at night. Will definitely stay again.

The Fort Rucker KOA is a nice campground for an overnight stop or for a short term layover. The sites are paved and some have enough room for a motorhome and dingy. The sites have 30 amp and 50 amp power. The place is very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a pool but it was closed for the season. The campground is covered with multiple trees so Dish Network was difficult to get. There is a small nice looking fishing pond on the site. Unfortunately, the weather prevented me from checking it out. If my future journeys take me though southern Alabama, I will definitely consider this KOA again.

We have a 44 foot Class A motorhome. Here is my review for Ozark Fort Rucker KOA. We only stayed one night. We were given a pull through in the far back of the campground. The campground was easy to get to and the roads inside are paved and in good condition. The sites in the back are very narrow and too close to other campers. The view of the fence and the adjacent property was unpleasant. Wifi seemed good and they had cable tv. Not sure if we would come back, but if we did, we would ask for sites 2 thru 6 or 17 thru 21.

This is a lovely campground. Very well maintained, the bathrooms are private with really hot water, the sites are nice. This is the most reasonable koa I have ever visited. Highly recommend.

A great park! Clean and staff so friendly! I stayed there for work. Was there 7 months and as a single lady, always felt safe. They really made me feel at home.

Perfect park! We were here for an overnight visit and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I think it’s one of the better Koa’s. The overnight spot was perfect. 👍 And now I need to add as I’m locking up I was attacked by park staff, Happy Halloween everyone to you they said and gave me candy and a gift. Outstanding Park!

Convenient location but surrounded by a loud neighborhood. The spots are small but very well paved and taken care of. The staff is very helpful and polite. Great for a one or two night stop.

This is a great little campground. We needed a place to stay while fleeing hurricane Idalia. Did a Google search and found this little gem. Restroom/showers are very clean. Has a laundry room. The camp store has what you need. The staff is very friendly . When you check in they escort you to your site. Will definitely be back for a visit instead of an evacuation.

Small, pretty park. Owner Lori was SUPER friendly. At first. I made the mistake of having groceries delivered. It was 7 pm when they finally arrived, and the driver didn’t stop in at the office. Lori raced over like a mad hornet in her green golf cart and proceeded to impart an intense scolding to both the driver and myself. I understand the rationale. But a little tact and diplomacy would have effectively delivered the message. Her public tongue lashing was overkill, and embarrassing. We left 3 days early.

Great campground! (2 month stay) Friendly staff. Ms. Lori is precious. The pool is always clean as well as the bathhouses. They have a storm shelter. Great place for walking. Nice kitchen & laundry. 10/10 recommend for long term & overnight stays, just bring some ant killer 🤙🏼

The lady that runs the place is so nice and helpful. You will need a regulator for the water. There is a laundry room and clean bathrooms. We traveled in our 43 ft fifth wheel in a pull through site. They also have a pool. It was a little buggy there, other than that it was nice.
