We actually cancelled our stay here after driving through the campground a few weeks prior to our booking. It seems that a lot of the sites are semi-permanent or permanent and there is VERY little space in between them. We have a large pop-up, and I honestly don't know how we would have fit that into a space using our tow vehicle as there were vehicles parked all along the road. It seemed that some of the large RV slide-outs went right into their neighbor's spaces.||||If you are into the social aspect of camping, this place might be nice, but if you are looking for a more relaxed and open atmosphere, this place isn't going to be the one to set up your hammock in.

The staff are quite accommodating and friendly. The area was very safe and quite affordable. With that being said, this site is primarily year-round RV and Camper sites. Their tent camping spaces are quite crowded and close to the other types of campers. This definitely isn’t the place to go if you want a more traditional camping experience.

Very accommodating staff. Nice grounds. Sites are pretty close together but room on at least one side to enjoy a campfire and not be too close to your neighbor's site. Nice pool and amenities. Very dog friendly with a nice size fenced in pet area with some agility like toys for the dogs.

Neat park but dated. Nice office and store with decent prices and selection with clean restrooms. Dated arcade in the basement that looks like it does not get much attention. Large playground, nice gaga pit. Clean and warm pool with ample seating (sun and shaded). Pool has areas for all ages. Bathhouse is dated. Nice catch and release pond. Friendly staff. Can walk to nearby mini golf and ice cream. Close drive to zoo, McConnels Mills and Moraine state parks. Decent WiFi

Nice campground plenty to do awesome service 👍 the only thing I wish was the pull through sites were bigger other than that I recommend this place and definitely would stay here again in the future

This is a lovely quiet setting with numerous permanent residents on the peripheral and traditional RV and basic tent spaces in the middle. A play ground, swimming pool, a path to the creek all reminded me of the girl scout camp I went to as a kid! There was a great little country store on the grounds.

Great private camp ground. Been going there for more than 20 yrs. Great spot close to the river if you are a boater/kayaker.

Very nice facilities with very nice people. The campground seem super kid friendly, and they had a very convenient store for all your needs.

Rented a Yurt for the weekend. It was very clean, and we stayed dry during a heavy rain. The shower got nice and hot, and the dish network TV was a nice perk. The living room couch and chair was not the most comfortable, we would have liked a place to lay our heads back. We liked that kitchen and cooking utensils were provided but found it odd that we didn't have a cooking source other than an outside grill and a microwave. We incorrectly assumed there would be an stove of some kind. Our biggest complaint was the area leading up to the Yurt was all grass. During our rainy weekend we had no traction in our car and the driveway ended up being a muddy mess. By our departure day we had to park along the road to pack up our vehicle. Some gravel in this area is desperately needed. This is a very family friendly location with lots of fun activities for the kids. We would like to make a return trip in the future.

Super clean cabin stocked with all needed supplies. Great campground with lots of people but not lots of noise. Cute gift store in old church. Walking distance to beautiful hikes etc. super close to McConnels mill state park. People were all kind and helpful and accommodating.

Park; office is in an Old Church and houses the store which is fully stocked & reasonably priced. The Owners & staff were wonderful. Owners live on site. We came midweek and it was very quiet. It was a Holloween weekend so in Friday the camp filled and decorations & activities were all out. Fire rings are to close to your neighbors so unless your in a group tough luck for private fire at nite. There are plenty of seasonal campers those have much larger sites. Firewood available is kiln dried so definitely better than State Park wood. Slippery Rock Creek has beautiful trails around to hike, mostly easy. Great drop off point &/or pickup for kayaking at the bridge just down the road . Dogs loved it...they have a fenced park but much more fun along the creeks . We are planning to come thru again and will stay here as its clean, friendly, and close to kayaking & hiking amongst other activities.

We originally thought this was a family campground, but it really isn’t. We had a seasonal site and our children made many friends, but most the permanent campers, without young children do not want children around. The owners do little to nothing to help with out of control, harassing adults.

I love rose point park. The feel and atmosphere is laid back, the rest of the world stops when I am there and i get to simply enjoy myself, the cabins are well maintained and the staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay a great one. I go there once a year every year for the last 4 years
