My wife and I stayed here Friday, November 18, we were due to arrive at 6:30, due to inclement weather, we did not arrive till almost 8:30. I am handicap in a wheelchair, and this is my very first accessible travel trailer. I was very nervous to try to figure out how everything worked. When we arrived, I called the after hours number and a gentleman named Ken showed up. He helped us set up our trailer in the freezing rain , even took the time to come inside and show us how everything worked. This man was a godsend. I cannot say enough how nice this facility is, and how they made a very scary situation for me, Absolutely wonderful. Please go see these folks, they are top notch. By the way, I tried very hard to pay him extra, and he would not except as he was very happy to help. I pray a special blessing on Mr. Ken tonight, thank you so much, sir.

We stopped here for few nights while visiting friends in the area. We are full-time RVers so we stay at a lot of parks and this is one of the better parks we've been in. Check in is a breeze. It is easy to get in and out of sites. The whole park is paved and sites have cement pads. They keep you well informed on weather warnings and also events going on in the park. The grounds and amenities are well taken care of. There is a nice fitness room and laundry facilities are new and offer the option of paying by phone or with quarters. We didn't use the showers but we love the bathrooms/showers, they are individual rooms which are a lot more secure than a multi-shower facility. Outside they have a nice pool area, kids playground, and pickle-ball courts. The dog run areas are exceptional. They are huge and have grass. We never run into anything as nice as theirs. I highly recommend staying in this park if you are in the area. The only negative is we like a little more nature but for a city area this park is amazing.

Let me start out by saying the employees that talk to you at the front are very nice. Our main complaint is how unfriendly the long-term campers are and how some rules are followed and some are not. We have lived and worked full-time in our RV for 7 months at this point. We have traveled from TX to MI and back and stayed at multiple campgrounds and never had an experience like this before. We have a German Shepherd that has been traveling with us the whole time. He is a relatively quiet dog but he does bark at other dogs at times; however, we correct him immediately. Yesterday the local "Karen" was walking her dog and our dog barked at them. I immediately stepped out and addressed our dog. A few minutes later "Karen" returns in her golf cart stops and takes a picture of our dog laying in the sun, only to speed off and report us to the office. The next thing we know, get an email from the general manager threatening us about our aggressive and unruly dog and that he can be left unattended. Again, we live and work inside the RV and have an eye on him, and are within feet of him. But, no we are not outside with him the whole time. We have never run into a rule like this before, as most campgrounds are pet 'friendly' on your own space/property. They made sure to provide us with a highlighted copy of the aggressive dog policy along with your dog can not be unattended rule. In the highlight rules, there are several other rules like no carpet on the gravel or grass, which people do. No use of motorized bikes, scooters, ATVs, dirt bikes, children's motorized ride-on vehicles, and similar vehicles is not permitted. Did I mention she took the picture and drove away in her golf cart? I could be wrong but that is a motorized vehicle. AND no tarps on your RV - which guess what - KAREN has a tarp on her camper roof. So I guess some rules do not really apply or they only apply to SOME PEOPLE. So after we discussed the problem with the office, we decided to shorten our by 2.5 months stay there to a week and moved to the new campground just up the road from them. We realized this is a very cliquey campground, and not really German Shepherd-friendly. Below is our aggressive dog thank you, Karen, for a great picture of him. Stone Oak next time try talking to your customer instead of hiding behind an email that says do not reply to this address. If we knew that letting him out on his lead without standing over him was against the rules and you treated us like you valued our business. We would have stayed and returned every year as our family lives in the area.

Dang I just realized I didn’t take any pics! What a nice and FANCY rv park!!! We were not disappointed! Check in people were sweet!!! We were like the cheapest rv there tho…. But never felt discriminated against bc we didn’t have a 200k rv. Beautiful, friendly, lots of amenities!

This place is absolutely amazing! The pool, amenity center and people, not necessarily in that order, are awesome 👍 I would live here for a while ❣️

This is a relatively new RV park with fairly nice amenities (playground, pool, commons area). However, this review is not simply about the space but about the service. We haven't had any issues with really any of the staff, but the owners seem to not have had any experience with people, and I'll explain here: We arrived a few weeks ago and had our stay reserved for a few weeks. There is a 5 mile per hour speed limit on the property, which most vehicles seem to have an issue with even rolling at 5 mph, but I digress. We had a family member of ours who lives nearby come onto the property to pick us up in their vehicle, and we were immediately notified by email that they were going over the speed limit (he wasn't even pushing his foot on the gas to try and maintain the limit) and we need to be understanding of the rules (which another vehicle that looked exactly like our family member's had arrived in front of him and was going much faster), which we had already agreed to upon reserving our spot at the resort as well as upon our arrival. My partner went inside and was berated by the owner who was very nasty and combative to her. Since then, we've noticed multiple vehicles speeding around consistently throughout our stay. About a week before our stay was about to end, we inquired to the owner about extending our stay for a few more days to a week, which the owner responded right away saying there was no spots available and that they'd be busy for the holidays. We looked online and saw that this wasn't the case and that we could've booked for weeks in multiple spots, but at this point we decided we wouldn't even attempt to stay longer considering the treatment and unprovoked blatant rudeness by the owner. I looked during this trip at the reviews and saw similar reviews with similar issues and feel that while many of the staff were welcoming, I still feel that the appearance of how management treats people can say a lot about the park itself, which is why I left this review at 2 stars. It would be 1 star if it weren't for the kind staff and clean/decent amenities.

**** I am updating my post below AND changing my rating from 3 to 5. Not only did the management respond on Google to my post, but they also called us to apologize and offer us another 4 night stay on-the-house at a later date! My husband thanked them, but said it would be quite some time before we would travel to back to Texas. So Amber said they would refund the 4 nights stay instead. And sure enough, a few days later we had a full refund! This goes far beyond our expectations and shows GREAT customer service! Thank you so much Stone Oak Ranch RV Resort. You deserve the 5 star rating!! And just to be clear, they did not ask me to change my review!! ***************************************** We had reservations here for 4 nights. It's a very clean and well-kept resort with dog parks, pool, playground, etc. It does have a long list of rules which is fine. They mention you must keep your site tidy and to mind your noise which we always do. They don't follow their own rules! They parked a trailer next to us on our patio side that needed a new roof. It was not occupied so I'm guessing it is their rental. The workers were their from early morning until 9 PM!! Not only could I not enjoy coffee on my patio, but they made a huge mess and more importantly made noise all day long - hammering and noisy tools to screw the roof down. I didn't complain because at first we thought it was a simple repair, until they ripped the entire roof off. An employee drove by on a cart so they knew. The picture I'm posting is after they cleaned up most of the mess. Why didn't management have them work at the maintenance shed instead of next to a paying customer? Not very good customer service.

This is a beautiful RV Resort, very well-kept with nice dog parks, pool, playground, etc. They do give you a long list of rules. One of the rules talks about keeping your site tidy which is fine. But what I don't understand is why they put a travel trailer next to us on our door side with no one staying in the trailer. It must be one of their rentals. So from early morning until 8:50 pm, they had workers on that site replacing the trailer roof!! Not only was it MESSY, but noise all day long of them hammering and using a screw gun!! I couldn't even go outside for morning coffee without them being practically in my face. I wish I could post the pictures of the mess! Hard to believe they didn't put them at the maintenance yard to do this instead of right next to a paying customer.

What a wonderful experience! Very clean, nice level pull through lots and amazing common area with swimming pool. The staff has been amazing, arrived later than expected (10:30 pm) and called the after hours number as directed. A very friendly gentleman arrived within a couple of minutes on a golf cart and led us to our space. He helped me get lined up in the space and with the utilities then handed me our packet. SUPER CLEAN, nice store, beautifully kept grounds and great Wi-Fi! 10 out of 10!

We just spent 75 days at Stone Oaks Ranch because it’s very close to where our 3 kids and 2 grandboys live. The RV Park exceeded our expectations and is beautifully maintained. We are full time RVers and this was luxury living. The gym, heated pool and the amenities center was a bonus. We will be back in November for the winter and spring.

Upscale amenities with a casual feel and close community that looks out for each other. Many long term residents, great staff, and monthly events for all ages and activity types. Love this place.
