The Springs At Borrego RV Resort & Golf Course

Our stay here for a week was perfect. The golf course is beautiful. Guests all know eachother. Weather is great. Pool, showers, laundry, and bathrooms are spotless! Sites are big. Camp hosts work very hard! |But, there are a TON of coyotes around the resort and course. They are fearless and come way too close. Last night our neighbors small dog got out and went missing immediately. Folks searched all night to no avail. I’m writing this at no fault to the resort at all- just a fair warning as most RV’ers have pets. Beware and don’t leave your pets outside here even in pet gates unattended.

I was really pleased with golf course conditions. Plush fairways, rough and tee boxes.

Nice location, full service RV hookups, very clean, good for the grandkids, nice jacuzzi’s, close to good hiking

I really liked this place, but the lack of good Internet service was a nasty surprise. The Wi-Fi was not usable, and phone coverage wasn't great, either. LTE only. Good if you want to unplug. The employees are efficient and friendly.

What a beautiful RV resort! I think it is actually the nicest, cleanest, best maintained RV resort we've ever been to! The camp hosts maintain the campground and they do a marvelous job. You always see them working and it shows. The landscaping is beautiful and the buildings are in great shape. The sites are level and sewer hookups and electrical posts are in great condition. And of course being in the middle of a beautiful place like Anza Borrego SP is a plus! Will definitely be back. 😊 Came back a year later but this time in January. Still beautifully maintained! There is so much to do in Anza Borrego and with such a nice base camp, our week here has been delightful!

This is a beautiful resort to stay in Borrego Springs and there is so much fun stuff to do in the campground and outside. Golf, fishing and stargazing in the campground was so much fun. For outdoors activities, we loved the Font’s point for badlands and Slot Canyon hike. Some of the sculptures at Galleta Meadows are amazing too. I wish we had more time to do wind caves, mud caves and Palm Canyon trail but something to do for next time I guess. If you’re coming from Temecula side and towing, then avoid the Montezuma Grade (S22) and go straight on S2.

Great RV park with immaculate cleanliness and maintenance. Large, level cement pads. They literally rake the gravel between guests every time a site turns over. Nice pool and hot tubs. Tons of showers. Good mix of families and snow birds, so you'll make friends no matter your situation.

Beautiful well maintained RV resort with a really nice (tho not easy) nine hole golf course. (Guests can also play the next door par 3 course which is not open to the public like the resort course is.) Staff are nice, the camp hosts are awesome! Every day they will pick up your garbage if you leave it out in the morning. They will also pick up your propane tank and refill it and bill your account. They clean each site after it is vacated and even rake the ground into attractive patterns. Really nice pool, hot tub, and hot mineral baths. Nice social events to meet other RV’ers. Not as cheap as the state park but you get so much more.

**UPDATE** New reservation system is now up and running and is wonderful. You can even choose your campsite. Very nice resort but the reservations system is a disaster. You try and try to make a reservation online, even on dates that you know few people are booked in yet it won't allow you. Try calling is even worse as nobody will answer the phone. Beautiful RV park but if you can't get in what good does it do?

If you are considering staying here, read this review and let me know if it helped you make a decision. We arrived after hours Thanksgiving night at about 9. Our reservation instructions were on the bulletin board by the golf pro shop and made everything very easy. I would recommend going to the website and familiarize yourself with the resort map (attached to my review) so you can know where to go. We were pilling a 37' 5th wheel and the pull through site we reserved was clean and easy to slide into. Hookups are also central to the rv so hooking up was uncomplicated. Our hose had a drip and although their rv supplies are limited, there is a hardware store in town a 5 minute drive away, we'll stocked and reasonably priced. I golfed. The course is very well maintained and much nicer than I thought or expected. The pool is heated and there were 3 couples spas with a family spa. There is a gym, lots of sporting things to do, and a little swingset for the kids. Fishing is not bad either. Next time I come I'll bring my pole. It's catch and release and there are plenty of fish. I build water features, and it takes a lot to impress me. The water is so clean and clear, I have to congratulate the caretakers and builders. Very well done! The campground is worth the price and I have reserved a spot from Dec 26 through the 30th on a fairway site. I cant wait to be fairway close, enjoy a cigar and watch people play. In all, if you're disappointed with this resort, you shouldn't be. Ive stayed in plenty of resorts, travel a great deal, and if I owned an rv resort, this is real darn close to how I'd build it and run it. There are plenty of campground hosts, people are safe and friendly, and most of all...... It's quiet at night. You're not going to hear people rudely partying here. As I write this review, it's 6 pm, and aside from some chatter, it's very peaceful. The last two nights I heard coyotes celebrating a hunt. That's cool. I highly recommend this park, please come and enjoy your stay. Yes, there is plenty of free camping all around the desert here, and we do that too. But, and here's the big but.... This is a luxury campground, and you get your money's worth. Thank you to the staff for a job well done. My reviews have over 5 million views as of today's date, and you have very easily earned 5 stars from me.

Apply rules inconsistently. One time it's fine to have a caboose SUV tent, or a roof top tent, next visit it's not and apparently I imagined it as it would "never happen". Allowed me to unpack and set up, the camp hosts were literally across the road cleaning while I did it, spend 6 hours on site, and then 10 minutes before sunset issue a "no compromise possible" instruction to move or leave, only leaving me time to pack up and leave. 4 hours driving and a day wasted for nothing. WiFi is worthless.

Had a great time here. Wonderful walking trail, fun mineral pools, very groomed campground sites and beautiful golf course. The dog run needs to have some grass, too dusty. We did not want to leave...
