If you are considering staying here, read this review and let me know if it helped you make a decision. We arrived after hours Thanksgiving night at about 9. Our reservation instructions were on the bulletin board by the golf pro shop and made everything very easy. I would recommend going to the website and familiarize yourself with the resort map (attached to my review) so you can know where to go. We were pilling a 37' 5th wheel and the pull through site we reserved was clean and easy to slide into. Hookups are also central to the rv so hooking up was uncomplicated. Our hose had a drip and although their rv supplies are limited, there is a hardware store in town a 5 minute drive away, we'll stocked and reasonably priced. I golfed. The course is very well maintained and much nicer than I thought or expected. The pool is heated and there were 3 couples spas with a family spa. There is a gym, lots of sporting things to do, and a little swingset for the kids. Fishing is not bad either. Next time I come I'll bring my pole. It's catch and release and there are plenty of fish. I build water features, and it takes a lot to impress me. The water is so clean and clear, I have to congratulate the caretakers and builders. Very well done! The campground is worth the price and I have reserved a spot from Dec 26 through the 30th on a fairway site. I cant wait to be fairway close, enjoy a cigar and watch people play. In all, if you're disappointed with this resort, you shouldn't be. Ive stayed in plenty of resorts, travel a great deal, and if I owned an rv resort, this is real darn close to how I'd build it and run it. There are plenty of campground hosts, people are safe and friendly, and most of all...... It's quiet at night. You're not going to hear people rudely partying here. As I write this review, it's 6 pm, and aside from some chatter, it's very peaceful. The last two nights I heard coyotes celebrating a hunt. That's cool. I highly recommend this park, please come and enjoy your stay. Yes, there is plenty of free camping all around the desert here, and we do that too. But, and here's the big but.... This is a luxury campground, and you get your money's worth. Thank you to the staff for a job well done. My reviews have over 5 million views as of today's date, and you have very easily earned 5 stars from me.

Apply rules inconsistently. One time it's fine to have a caboose SUV tent, or a roof top tent, next visit it's not and apparently I imagined it as it would "never happen". Allowed me to unpack and set up, the camp hosts were literally across the road cleaning while I did it, spend 6 hours on site, and then 10 minutes before sunset issue a "no compromise possible" instruction to move or leave, only leaving me time to pack up and leave. 4 hours driving and a day wasted for nothing. WiFi is worthless.

Had a great time here. Wonderful walking trail, fun mineral pools, very groomed campground sites and beautiful golf course. The dog run needs to have some grass, too dusty. We did not want to leave...

Other than a reservation snafu, it is a nice quiet place to visit and look at stars. That being said, California could do a better job on maintaining the roads to get out there.

Red ants got to our dog...had to go to the vet for antihistamines and cortisone. @TheSprings: thanks for the feedback. Wife and dog came back today after a short break and we don't blame the resort for the ant incident. We're back in January and hopefully the dog park is open!! We've been coming here since 2011.

We are all Southern California residents. At least eight of us book this resort three or four times a year. Have done so for many years. We were due to arrive Oct 24th to meet up with our friends. On the way we had major problems with our tow vehicle. Needed assistance from Highway Patrol and AAA. We had to return home. We arrived the following day and upon check in respectfully requested a one day credit to our account for next visit. We were told a definite No!! Not the best customer service.

Fall through Spring -- this is the best. Town reminds me of "times gone by." If I were younger, I might live here -- but not in Summer.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- $52/night Stayed 18 nights Site #707 and #931 and #311 Stayed here mid-Dec 2023 until after New Years. Stayed in 3 sites and all were great (707 FHU 50 amp pull-through, 931 FHU 50 amp back-in to gold course, 311 FHU 50 amp back-inâ311 was our favorite site) Campground WiFi: -Worked when the park was empty but could not connect at all once it filled up. So, typical campground wifi. Cell/hotspot using booster: -AT&T (2 of 4 barsâ4G) -Verizon (3 of 4 barsâ4G) Staff: Staff are helpful and very nice. Sites: All 3 were pavement pads with compacted sand patio areas Campground Road: Nicely paved. Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. Bathrooms/Showers: Lockable individual shower rooms. Very comfortable and feels new. Laundry: Good laundry facility. Lots of washers and dryers. Pool & Mineral Baths: Great pool and the mineral baths are awesome (2 small/individual and 1 normal group hot tub) Location: 3 min from town center, groceries, restaurants, and gas. Near highway: Well off of the main busier road. But, none of the roads are busy necessarily as this is in the middle of the desert. Near train: No.

Iâve stayed here several times over the past 5 years. I have tshirts and magnets and fond memories here! Itâs a pleasant spot close to town, large spaces and lots of big trees for shade. However, the most recent trips have been different since they have added tons more spots but not done anything else to accommodate more people and also raised prices. The pool used to be peaceful, now it is overcrowded with very few lounge chairs. I only counted 12, and there are well over 45+ people during peak hours. People stake out the chairs in big groups. There is hardly any shade. The Springs needs to up their game and accommodate for the larger amount of people they are packing in here. This weekend, there was a camping group of 60 rigs together. Yes, 60!!!!!!! We were placed in the middle of them and had to move because they were nosey and obnoxious. The front desk knew they were here and told us they know that group and that they get loud. For $120 per night I was upset they stuck us in the middle of this huge obnoxious group. We asked to move and they still charged us $4 extra for the new site which was kind of a slap in the face. This group took over everything for the weekend and it wasnât too pleasant. I wish The Springs wouldnât knowingly allow such a giant group to take over the campgrounds.

Loved resorrt landscaping, palm trees, flowers, waterfall, surrounded by amazing mountains. Immaculate RV sites. Our site was on golf course, peaceful & fun to watch golfers. Real resort feel...Pool, spas, fitness center, tennis/pickleball courts. Bathrooms at pool are clean, well decorated & have own showers. Staff friendly and eager to help. We were there 14 days. Close to town & Anza Borrego State Park. Highly recommend this beautiful RV Resort.

First time here in our travel trailer. The rv resort is very clean with a lot of room between spots. Be advised that it is hot during the spring/summer months. The golf courses are well maintained and it was very quiet at night.
