This RV Park is really nice. Wish I could have stayed longer. Very nice pads with up to date hookups. Very clean and neat...yard , campsites and shower-laundry room. Very reasonable rates

Very caring staff. Came in after a long travel day and went straight to my camp site due their email and contactless check in procedure. Sites were well marked and level. Had a flat on the road and they went out of their way to help me get a new tire.

Good location for a one night stay. Nothing fancy. Depending on which site they give you (no option to choose a site) depends on how big rig friendly plus tow it is. First Standard Site 201 assigned, was too short for our 45’ Motorcoach towing a Jeep Gladiator, second site in from an end. We knew turning into that site was only happening looping around the park coming in from the opposite direction. Staff was watching us park and could see the Site was too short and happily gave us another Site #206, which we fit on with no wiggle room forward or back, but it worked. Standard Sites listed as 30 x 57’ to 30 x 96’ on website. Park was well taken care of. Hard packed gravel level site, FHU, cable. A bit of grass between sites. There are red ants around, so be careful where you step or stand, FYI. Found them in the morning, LOL. Safe Teavels!

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here at the Backyard RV Resort in Montgomery Alabama. We weren’t sure how far we wanted to drive yesterday so it was late in the game when we figured out we wanted to stop in Montgomery. I’ve only been doing this a couple years and several times I couldn’t book a site at RV parks because they were closed. Yesterday, I went on the Backyard website and although they were closed I was still able to book/pick/pay for my site. I highly recommend this place. Clean, nice dog park, easy in/out.

The surrounding area doesn't seem like there would be an RV park nearby as it's mostly restaurants and gas stations. It's the perfect distance away from the main part of Montgomery but close enough. I will be staying here again for a second time and I look forward to it. There's not much shade throughout the entire park itself but there are many spaces to choose from. The dog park is small but it is safe and nice to take a walk around with your pup, you'll definitely meet friends along the way! The bathrooms are coded and incredibly clean, never crowded. I didn't use the laundry facilities but it seemed nice. The outdoor seating area is a neat place to hangout, especially at night. I didn't directly meet the staff the first time I stayed, but there were no complaints or issues and email/phone communications work just fine and they're extremely kind/helpful!

Not a bad campground for overnight stop. Located in a very sketchy area to say the least. There is no signage at the entrance. Look for the burned down hotel next to the Arby's. No tables, no fires, Wifi does not work.

Stayed for one night while traveling. Easy online booking with excellent communication via email with confirmation and all info needed. Easy access off highway with gas stations and fast food restaurants outside of the park on the main road. The rv park is no frills but is well maintained. However, they did have a nice pavilion for grilling and another pavilion you could use to get together with friends. Our site was level and the gravel in the site and road was well maintained and looked fresh. We would definitely stay again.

We needed a place to stay for the night. Called and Debbie was extremely gracious and sweet. I actually booked online but called her for some info beforehand. Easy and smooth booking, easy check in. Pulled right into our spot. They have it all, grilling pavilion, a hang out spot, nice dog park, very clean. I would definitely recommend!

I just stayed a week at The Backyard RV Resort. The hosts were Great! The Resort was clean at all times. The other patrons that I came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. I needed a quick getaway and I picked the perfect place. The fishing was awesome! See pictures. Thank you Debbie!

We did a quick stop here on our way to GA from FL. The sites were clean and the bathrooms were spotless. The showers were large with decent water pressure. No pool but for us it was a perfect pit stop and right off 65

Conveniently located near the Highway, yet very quiet. This is a no frill but well maintained campground. I will recommend selecting one of the farther from the Main office, right next to a quiet pond populated by charming geese. Just the right thing that made us relax a bit and forget that we were just stopping by on our long long journey between Yucatan and South Carolina.

First time being here and this is great. Super wide spaces all pull through, super clean. Absolutely deserves six stars for the no contact check in very easy to get in and get hooked up. Storm just went through here yesterday, but everything is very dry. We are in spot 208. There is a spot here that is bad to pull out of. Popeyes and Arby’s within walking distance. As we go from East Coast to West Coast yearly we will definitely be staying here again. We did use a regulator for the water after reading reviews about the high water pressure. No problems full cable as well.

It's called the Backyard for a reason. They have a covered area for life size games such as connect four, chess board, checkers, corn hole, an outdoor TV and several BBQs. Well manicured, pleasant staff, easy on and off highway. The only objection would be the missing picnic table. Would definitely come back. $47 for full hook up.

Nice enough park. Cookie-cutter design. Most sites are very close together. For example, the cement slab/patio was one step away from the neighbor's sewer hookup. The managers did keep some space around us which helped. The fishing pond was very nice (caught a bass) and the park was easy to walk around. Cable TV was just OK and the wifi was unreliable (too many drops). The laundry had nice machines but, with only 3 washers and 3 dryers, is too small for a park this size. Compounding this issue was that people were running the dryers twice. Sites were gravel and reasonably level. Very good Verizon signal, so hotspot made up for the poor wifi.

We needed 1 overnight stay, close to the highway and preferred a pull thru. This is the place for that! Clean, nice and level gravel sites. Also pretty quiet as there were quite a few people there. Looks like all sites are pull thru which made everything easy. Check in booking online was seamless and email with site # was sent immediately. The rate when we were there came to $55.00 total with all taxes for 1 night. It was very impersonal as we never saw or spoke to anyone from the park/office…but if you’re looking for easy “in & out” process this was it. Surrounding area isn’t the best, but we never felt unsafe. There are a few fast food places you can walk to if need be. They have a small dog park, outdoor games and pavilion with nice tables. No foofy frills, but it was easy & nice so we will be back.
