RV park was easy to get to from main roads. Staff was excellent. Sites were ok. They were all gravel but good level sites and all pull throughs. The pool and playground were new and well maintained. We stayed 3 nights because of ball tournaments- larger towns were near by. Enjoyed our stay.

We thought this was goin to be a nice place to stay but it has been met w nothing but discrimination and undued judgments. I would not recommend this rv park to anyone.

I was down with friends for the Talladega Race. Our camper had a shower but not much room and the campground we stayed at did not have a bathhouse. We were told about Time Away had a very clean Bathhouse and only charged $5 per person! They were spot on! Super Clean with all the hookups. They also had Karaoke going on, which the crowd seemed to love. Seemed to be a nice Campground with friendly employee's.

Great park for race weekend. The host was incredible and the service was very friendly. Large spots for campers. Great pool facility and park is clean and well maintained. I would recommend campground if you're ever in the area.

Trek-Always

The good: Utilities work well, site was fairly flat although many in the camp are tilted front to back, staff is lovely and responsive, there is a pool with a decent deck around it, we pulled in several good quality OTA stations, all sites are pull through. The less good: No trees, very little light in camp at night, interstate noise, no patio picnic table or fire ring, no internet (none even came up on our list choices), no cable, with neighbors sites are tight, $48 is high for what this offers.||||As an overnight stay this place is fine and convenient to I-20. One of very few campgrounds open here when races are not going on.||||Since ratings are partly comparative to help others select a camp, it is hard, with the shortcomings noted, to rate this higher than 2. We camped at Time Away RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed for a month and due to work travel we decided to stay an additional month. The host is very kind, and helpful, the sites are gravel and some are close together. However, we're here in off-race time and have plenty of space to ourselves. The atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable which made it easy for us to stay longer. Walmart and other stores and restaurants are within 15-20 mins and a Piggly Wiggly just a few miles away. The dog park is very convenient, my family enjoys playing at the playground and basketball court, we love to swim but being that we're here Oct-Nov it's been too cold to swim. We have stayed at other parks where the kids have been looked down upon but they've been nothing but welcoming which I greatly appreciate. The showers are clean and the grounds are being maintained. It is clear that the park is still undergoing upgrades but is still very comfortable. When we arrived the laundry facility was not set up but the host gave us a recommendation for a laundromat and not the facilities are up and running, there are 2 washers/dryers. It is also set up for use with PayRange which is very convenient. Overall we're very pleased and would definitely return.

Great place to stay! Clean bathrooms and convenient laundry room. Dog park is big. Lots of amenities for a park close to I-20. Quiet and easy to relax.

I stayed there this past Race Weekend (Sept. 28 thru Oct. 3) and enjoyed it. The management and crew came by and checked on us throughout our stay and Little Riley baby sat my 15 week old Dachshund (Lucy) for us. Time Away is the Best!!! Signed John, Becky and Lucy Lou

Manager is nice!! Love the pool and the newly renovated shower houses!! Highly recommend staying here, feels like home
