What nice and relaxing getaway at the Time Away RV Resort! Alicia and Nate (owners) are amazing! When we pulled up Alicia was there waiting on us with a smile and a big ole hug - it was like we’d known each other for years☺️ (just like family) Our main goal was to relax and disconnect - we did just that! The WiFi was great so when we ‘needed to connect’ we could. We absolutely lived the Netflix & Chill life for a few days ☺️ Bae and I are founding members … so we will be back! There was even a double rainbow and single rainbow at the same time across the street during our stay ☺️🌈 I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my birthday this year … at the movies seeing F9 Fast & Furious with Alicia and Nate - #newfriends #newmemories — at Time Away RV Resort.

Enjoyed our restful and peaceful night at Time Away. The grounds are spacious, level, and clean. The owners, Alicia and Nate, were welcoming and hospitable. We'll definitely be stopping back through to see how things are developing here at Time Away!

I rented an on-site camper. The accomodations were great. The camper had 1 queen bed and a full/queen sized set of bunks. My party of 4 (1 adult and 3 kids) were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the playground and basketball court and I enjoyed the Pavillion with live entertainment. I look forward to returning and enjoying in my own camper.

I had written a long list of why I liked the place. After re reading. It sounded like a commercial. So here is a shorter version. It was always the owners for all our needs. they found the best Wi-Fi spot for the grand kids..Help with lost keys. Oh did I mention that I forget to confirm my reservation. I will be back next year. The pavilion, playground, the space, 24 hr RV service. My main concern my grandkids having fun. They made new friends as well as I. Sorry did it again commercial. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT.

Had a wonderful time visiting Time Away RV Resort. We met so many families from all over the country. Looking forward to reconnecting with some in the coming months. The facilities are immaculate, and the entertainment was great. Really enjoyed the free concert featuring the “Voice”, Nelson Cade III. The host family was amazing; Alicia is a GEM😇. We will definitely be returning in the near future!!! RV family and friends let’s support this RV Resort; they are doing great things for the RV/camping community!!

What wonder hosts (owners)! Nate and Alicia are so helpful, gracious, kind and personable. We were so excited to support our fellow Black/Veteran owned campground! It is THE BEST in Talladega. Why? Large grounds, pavilion for dancing, concerts, events, full hook ups, free wi-fi and and coming soon: large bathhouse, super huge pool, camp store, dog park and trails. The customer service is real too! They even have a 24/7 RV repairman, who is super helpful too. This is a place where POC can come feel comfortable, safe and welcomed. And no Trump flags allowed!!!!

We had the pleasures of meeting and speaking with Alicia and Nate this morning. I want to thank Alicia for educating us on the hard work it takes in running an RV Park. I initially was disappointed (not with the park itself) but finding things to do in the area. After speaking with them they not only recommend several places but also someplace where we can fish (which was very important). We should have done our due diligence as well but when you are not familiar with where you are, you are not sure where to look. Their Resort is coming along beautifully. The sites are nice and well kept. We can’t wait to see the next phases, congratulations! Keep up the good work!

Great, welcoming, personable, and friendly hosts. Although only open for a couple of weeks, the campground is already very nice and will only improve. Many recently planted trees will soon be giving welcomed shade during the warmish Alabama summers. The dog park is well-done and inviting. The walking trail is illuminated with solar lights. The sites are easy to enter despite the length of our RV (43'). A tiny home is among the sites and may be available to guests (we have not confirmed this with the owners yet, so maybe not). We enjoyed our visit and plan to return at every opportunity.

I came in Friday, 25 June a little after 2 PM and was greeted by your friendly staff. A rig pulled in just prior to my arrival and was escorted to their site. Your staff informed me that it might be a minute because the guest asked for help with set up. Another staff volunteered to ride with me so I could get to my site and begin my set up. That was over the top and not necessary but i was impressed with your customer service. I planned to go out to see what was in town but honestly with the activities and chatting it up with the other RV'rs Time (slipped) Away. Thanks for your vision and steadfast pursuit of making it a reality. Can't wait to return to see the progress. Peace and continued blessings.

The birth of a wonderful vision. I am a founding member that camped for the first time this weekend. I was thoroughly impressed by the space and how Nate & Alicia are developing the area. I was greeted enthusiastically upon entry and then chauffeured to my lot and then greeted by rv repairman in case I have any issues. I have a custom Class B with a Weeroll Classic in tow for my extra storage or 2nd sleeping area for my grandson. I enjoyed meeting other campers and letting them see my set-up as well. Although I left early, my grandson and I really enjoyed the time away and was able to bond more as Nanna with a grown grandson. It brought back memories as we talked, laughed and shared thoughts and dreams. I will definitely be back to enjoy seeing the growth as they continue to develop their dream and assist in the camping dream of others. Faith R Thompson

This Resort is in high gear. The owners and staff are are very accommodating and polite. Talladega super speedway is in walking distance. Making plans to come back.
