Woodruff Lake Coe Prairie Creek is located in Lowndesboro, Alabama. It is a small lake that is part of the Coe Prairie Creek watershed. The lake is surrounded by a variety of trees and shrubs, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The lake is a popular spot for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. It is also a great spot for bird watching, as many species of birds can be seen in the area. The lake is also home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, raccoons, and beavers. The lake is a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

Woodruff Lake - COE/Prairie Creek

What a great CG. Super friendly people. Level concrete pads for all vehicle types. Water & power even at the awesome walk in tent sites. Bathrooms were clean & there are 2 showers per side as well. Many of the sites are on the water with great views from the picnic table. We did notice lots of poison ivy/oak/something climbing & surrounding many of the trees!

We camped one night in site #40 which was quiet, at the end of the road & beside the walk in camper parking. Two tall lights stay on all night there but otherwise it was a great spot. You're close to your neighbors but there are tons of trees & it feels secluded.

Its a great place to camp and watch the wild life. You can fish from a boat or the bank or just walk around looking at different things. It's a great place to just relax.

The Campground Attendants are absolutely amazing!! The view is also amazing!! Saw my first gator but he was swimming in the middle as if not to get too close to the crazy humans lol. My fur babies absolutely love it there. Thanks for making our stays so enjoyable.

My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway to fish and relax. We were early in the year so we didn't have much luck fishing. We did catch 2 small alligators so be aware that they are there.

The campgrounds are beautiful! The bath houses were relatively clean. They had a free use washer and dryer.  A cleaning station for fish. A boat ramp. All sites have power and water. The staff was super friendly.  It was around $50 for us to tent camp for 2 nights. We will definitely be back.

Camping. Has electrical hookups and water. Very beautiful. Boat ramps look nice and easy to get to. Spacious pad sites with electrical hookups.

Prairie Creek is one of our favorite campgrounds. The grounds are always kept maintained and  Callie was so sweet and helpful.

This is such a nice campground! The 2 host teams are awesome!
The sites are level and spacious and many have complimentary docks with the sites.

If possible would give more than five stars. Everything is close to perfect here. Many campsites close to the water. I have cell phone service and OTA TV service. Camp hosts were
very friendly. I will go out of my way to come back.

I travel to different campground, on extended hunting trips. This is my favorite so far.

An overall great place to go camping.   Off the beaten track remote and secluded.  Just the way I like it.

Campsites very spacious, cleared of debris, grounds are excellent. Beautiful environment. Bring your screen tent.

All sites are near or on the water.  Every site has its own advantages.  We go there often and will be going back.  Off the beaten path and very quiet and laid back.  Fishing is ok from the bank and very good with a boat.  You need a license to fish but the possibility of landing a big catfish is good.  No sewer hookups.  The shower houses are showing their age but are still quite serviceable and well located.  Too remote for most tourist excursions but close to nature.

We love camping here. So subtle and a hidden gem from the hustle and bustle of Montgomery. Beautiful blue skies and sunrise/sunsets!

Owners were immensely kind, bathrooms were very clean and in order, and the site we had was right on the water with an amazing view!
