I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience so far at Bay Bayou. Every aspect of our booking to our check-in has been positive. Each staff member we've interacted with has been friendly and warm - a special shoutout to nighttime security going above and beyond to help us with our late check-in. The fact that everyone here is so patient and flexible is a testament to the fact that they genuinely want to provide a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for short and long-term guests. Beyond the customer service, the amenities here are great. I am thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness here and just how often the grounds are tended to. The rules here are fair and well-established, and it does seem like everyone follows them. I can tell that Bay Bayou attracts more seasoned RVers because the environment here is extremely peaceful and friendly. I've had no worries taking a walk in the middle of the night with my headlamp - not only because the guests here maintain a safe place, but with the added benefit of security checking the grounds throughout the night.

We stayed there in March of 2025 for 2 weeks and enjoyed it. This place is well kept and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Hope to return in the near future as this location was perfect for us.

Yeah this place is great!!! Traveling with my dog and only expected to stay one day, but I’m here for now 3 days. Quiet, shady, cool little gym, great pool, and nice people all around. Excited to fish all day ❤️🥰❤️

Just returned home from my second visit to Tampa to visit my son. Last visit was around Christmas and we got a good spot for our camper / toy hauler. Decided to go back during season as the amenities were very good, staff was super friendly, rates were very reasonable for the area. I asked if we could have the same spot again and they informed me they would do everything they could to put us back there. Honestly any spot would be totally fine for such a short trip as they are all pretty good. They keep up with you leading up to arrival, and typically call on check in day to make sure everything is ready for you when you arrive. A bonus was when we got there they had our same spot held for us! I am here to say absolutely NO ISSUES both times we have visited. The location is perfect to get to anything on the Tampa side, or to head to the beaches. It is not super congested on that part of Hillsborough. There is everything you need within a 3-4 mile radius. Very relaxed atmosphere. Bathroom and showers are super clean (hot water heater in the camper developed a leak) so I had to use theirs. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. I will 100% recommend Bay Bayou RV Resort, and will continue using them every time we go visit.

We came in from Orlando for the weekend and AC DC concert. Stayed on¹slot 12610 with a cement pad. Leveling was easy, hook up for water, sewer, and electric very close. The bathroom/ showers were spotless and we'll maintained with great water pressure for showers. We went to the beach which was close. Quiet area. Great service, We will be back! Thank you!

If it was closer to MacDill, we'd live here year round! Just walked through the park today and thought how many nice shady sites there are -and plenty of sites with enough clear sky to use the starlink. If I could make any tiny changes, it would be to remove one treadmill from the little gym (or have a larger space for the gym) - but I'm so grateful for the dumbells up to 50# and the cable set up! I think the pool maybe once had a jetted whirlpool section, which would be cool to have back for after those workouts in the gym. 😉 But generally, fantastic park with well kept grounds and amenities.

Very nice. Place. There is no store to speak of for buying goodies, but other than that, everything was great

This is a beautiful place to RV. The yards are very well maintained. They were very accommodating to us needing to change our reservation due to an accident that happened to me. Thank you so much for your service 🙏

A nice park located in metro Tampa. Nice sites. Lots of full time residents. Helpful staff.

One of the cleanest and most well-run RV resorts that we've had the pleasure of staying. Events for the travelers are held almost every day. While we were there, they had a BBQ and an ice cream social. The sites were level and the majority were cement. Beautiful landscaping! Clean bath houses/restrooms. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores near the resort along with gas stations that can accommodate RVs. All sites are back-in.

It's a well-run park with friendly service but I wouldn't call our corner site "delux". Ask for shade. Restrooms were ckean.

This was my first time staying here. I arrived after business hours but security was helpful and assisted me to my site. My site was on the back side of the park on a concrete pad. My rig is 42ft and I had very little room between the ditch and my site while backing in. Nevertheless, I got parked safely. A less experienced driver may have felt uncomfortable being how close my rig was to the ditch while backing up. Definitely a lot of snowbirds and permanent residents that stay there. I’ve been to several rv resorts and parks and I’m not sure I would consider this a resort especially the price I paid. Lastly, political flags should be prohibited. They are offensive to some people and should not be allowed. Your prohibited list is quite lengthy but nothing about political flags. I plan on coming back next year and years to come to attend the annual Tampa Cigar Convention but will be staying at Keylime Bay Resort directly behind where my site was.
