Reasonably priced, exceptionally clean, and a good breakfast. Some folk gripe if ice cream is cold... Our room was better than many Hamptons we have stayed in.

I was over charged at this hotel. I have a receipt showing BW charged my credit card for a room I reserved through Hotels.com who also charged my credit card. I have called 3times and talk to 3 different employees concerning this. One told me she could see I was over charged and would have her supervisor call me, which she never did. The other person was the supervisor and stated she only saw one chg and that was hotels.com. I told her I had a receipt and she never ask me to fwd a copy of it to her for verification. Unfortunately I was rather rude and she ( the supervisor) told me she could get nasty too. I finally had to contact my credit card company but whether it gets reversed I don't know. I would advise people who ck in here (BW at Clanton, Al) to verify their chgs before leaving. The dates involved were cl in Jan 8 and CK out Jan 9, 2025. Stan and Jo Ann Millikan

Beware of rude staff. Stayed on 1/2/25 checked in by a very rude woman who was on her phone when we came in. When asking for extra blanket she said they had none. Room smelled of smoke and old food. All around bad hotel experience! Would definitely not recommend!! Eggs at breakfast were rubbery and room temperature at best!

The front desk staff was rude . I will never stay here again . The Cleaning crew were not effective . Very noisy by staff members at 5:45 am daily and throughout the day. Who and why operates a leaf blower early in the morning. And the service carts early in the morning. The staff are rude , 3 shift !

The room was very clean and the thermostat was set nicely for when we arrived. It was very cold outside the room was nice and toasty. And they were pet friendly at a twenty dollar Per night pet fee.

A nice hotel with a beautiful hillside view--close to the interstate highway while providing a quiet, countryside feel. The hotel is modern, clean, and well managed. Parking at the door makes for a convenient access. We chose to eat in town--3 or 4 miles away, but there are nearby restaurants also.

The room was clean and comfortable. Pillows as usual could use a refresh. However, if you are someone who sleeps past 8:30 am DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Check out is 11 but housekeeping starts at 8 so they think that everyone should be awake and out by 8:30. On top of this the desk clerk said that we should have put out the do not disturb sign if we did not want to be awakened at that time. Claims this is the case at all hotels. Never happened at other hotels in all the years we have travelled.

First of all the room seem to be clean until we lift up the toilet seat and it was poop on the bottom of it. Secondly, there's nowhere to walk your dog on the property because everywhere it says no dog walking on grass so there's that so you have to go across the street or somebody else's property next-door in order to be able to walk your dog, so what is the point of that next morning cleaning lady knocks on the door at 8 o'clock to clean the room for check out and check out until 11 so there's that breakfast was OK to be expected better than most nowadays

I was charged $165 a night and this is an older hotel with the doors on the outside! This should be called a MOTEL. Front picture is deceiving when you go to book.

We are two adults staying in a room with two beds. We asked for two blankets. Front desk clerk said she only had one and to get a second blanket she would have to lock the door and go to the laundry. Clerk then followed up with we could not each have a blanket. We asked to speak with management. A phone was stuck in our face with some very rude woman named Connie saying this was our one warning and we could not have another blanket. Very rude and very threatening to us. Front desk clerk was rude from the moment we checked in. At the moment of this review I'm seeing this is a two star motel. Customer Service is no doubt the reason. The woman on the phone I assume the manager was so rude and threating we are really concerned about retaliation. Just hoping our debit card we used to check in is not suddenly compromised. Go to the next exit folks... These folks are mean and scary! Example: response from the owners to other bad reviews written by guest are in all caps. That is rude also as we all know all caps depicts yelling.
