Black Barts RV Park

Overall, we had a good stay at Black Bart's. Our first site was a bit uneven and one side of our fifth wheel actually had the wheels at least a foot off the ground. Then, while watching TV our first night, we lost power - the electric panel flipped. We reset it three times, only to have it flip off each time. We gave up, turned everything off, including the electric heat, and went to bed. The next day, we reported the issue and they promptly sent over a technician to check the pedistal power. He found an issue of one leg of the circuit. We ended up moving to a different site - which was level and had solid power source. Johanna was great and was sure we were settled. I would definitely give them a second chance. Only four stars because of the power issue - service definitely a 5-star. If you go, be sure to check out the Steakhouse!

Fabulous camp. No complaints. There is truck hum if you are in the front row. Sweet staff. It’s a little muddy in middle of March. But then there is snow in the shade. We loved it. We have a 41 ft 5th wheel

Very well kept and clean. Would have given 5 stars if they had internet and a dog park/run. I read reviews before our stay and people complained about highway noise, but we didn’t find it particularly noisy. The steakhouse and show were great, although pretty pricey.

Great park and very convenient. We stayed the night here before going to the North Pole Experience across the street at the Little America. There is a cross walk at the freeway intersection if you don't want to J-Walk) The Sinclair gas station next to Little America makes cooked to order breakfast burritos and other food. There is a very well stocked convenience store on the same side of the street as Black Barts past (or thru) the truck stop parking lot. No online reservations but the operators are very accommodating. We came in late and they had our reservation with space number on a map on the door and trusted us to come in the next morning or drop a check in the mail slot.

I saw bad reviews about the road noise in the rv park, but inside the camper, we didn't have issue at all. The camp sites were much bigger than the pictures made them look. There was grass and picnic table at each site. Bathrooms were closed. Which normally is fine, but the water was about 30 ft from electric and sewer so we ended up without water for the night. They provided electric adapters at the office which was a life saver. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if passing thru. Just bring a long hose!

This RV park was conveniently located near the Interstate. Hence, making it a very busy place. RVs in and out 24/7. Located next to the RV park is a 24 hour truck parking lot. Semi trucks were warming up their engines at all hours. Didn't appreciate the noise. The staff was pleasant. We checked in after dark and the area is not well lite. This will not be our first choice when we pass through Flagstaff. I do have to give a thumbs up to the steakhouse. This is a show and dinner. Local talent are your servers and singers. The steaks were delicious and the music made the evening that much better. Manager came by tables to ensure customers had everything they needed. Highly recommend restaurant and dinner show.

Front desk folks were friendly and that was nice... But--- You're right next to the highway... Literally you could throw a rock at a car on the interstate... Noise constantly. You're right next to a truck stop. Trucks backing up constantly with backup alarms, then leaving their trucks on all night, and the truckers walked through our spot to get to the restaurant. Noise constantly. The hook-ups are NOWHERE near where you need them... I had to go buy another hose for water, and I barely got my power cord connected. Bathrooms and showers were closed. No wifi or cable... If you absolutely have to have a spot to park, this is OK... But there's better in flagstaff.

I would never recommend this property to anyone. Almost everything in the description of the park is a half truth. The paved interior roads are a joke. They are broken up and gravel. The RV spots are not even close to level. The concrete pad is just a little bigger than a picnic table and many of them were broken up and not safe. The green spaces were just weeds. There is no WI-Fi or cable TV. The local TV is all broken up snd most were in Spanish. |The idea of a steak house on the property was appealing but it is VERY expensive. The laundry was filthy and the office wasn’t very neat either. |I am willing to bet the owners are just taking in money and none of it is being put back in to upkeep of the property.

Woman at desk was nice and helpful. The location is convenient; however, it is right next to a truck stop with only a chain length fence separating the two. It’s right off of the interstate. All night you hear the trucks and interstate noise. There are a lot of permanent residents here that do not keep their area picked up. The RV spots look like they were once a pull thru and are now squeezing two spots into the same space. The hook up locations are in terrible spots. Our power cord would not reach. We asked to move but no other spots were available. Luckily we were traveling with friends so we ended up turning the camper around so our front was to their rear. We ended up sharing a sewer hook up. Also, the showers and bathrooms are not open.

The worker were pleasant efficient. We were booked into a backing site. They directed to use the site as a drive thru site. We could drop our tow vehicle and park in front of our coach. The person using the other half of the site have back in. This park was very busy. They also gave you a coupon for the restaurant for 10 present off the bill.

Solid accommodations and excellent customer service. We were even given a late check out option of 2p! Spots are close together and it is indeed very close to I-40 (none of which bother me personally), but worth noting for those wanting a different type of experience. Would recommend!

Big sigh....this RV park is conveniently located and easily accessible from Interstate 40. First the positives: It was quiet throughout the night in space 121. No traffic noise and the park residents were very quiet. The hook ups worked just fine. Black Barts restaurant and bar are on the premises and our evening there was wonderful. Now the criticisms: Bathrooms were closed. No wifi. Laundry was problematic with only one dryer operating at max inferno. Sites are small and crowded. Because there are so many permanent residents there is a general slum feeling about the park. It pains me to use that word but that's what I saw and that's the way it felt. The fees are expensive. $54 with Good Sam discount. Our concrete pad and picnic table were very run down. There are cars parked everywhere. I think the owner is just milking the business and not reinvesting. It's too easy to pack the place with month to month tenants and just leave the place to ruins. Good luck to travelers who choose to stay there and I hope the ownership considers making some improvements very soon.

Delicious and amazing. Scott was a great waiter. Continuous entertainment great. Expensive, but my birthday gift to myself. Well worth it. Best serloin steak I've ever had. Sorry had to take one star off for prices.

Bring ear plugs. Truck park for next door neighbor. Lots of diesel engines running all night, parking lights on. Interstate highway noise all the time. Bathrooms and showers all closed. Check in desk says they can find help, so facilities are closed. What looked like a restaurant, closed. Black Barts Steakhouse, widely over prices. $20 more than either Texas Roadhouse or Outback. All gravel roads and parking spaces. Over half filled with permanent residents, overcrowded and poorly looked after. And to top off their wild west theme, they have no wifi. None!!!! Who does that? They don't have an 30 amp connections, but the very very nice lady at check-in lent me a 50 to 30 adapter. She was very nice to visit with and very helpful. Highlight of the park. Another nice feature was our spot was perfectly level. Convenient off the freeway.

I Rate this restaurant only two. It opens at 5 pm. It is in a RV park. I didn't go in cause they have a menu outside. It is very expensive. A simple NY Strip steak was 50 bucks. They advertise they have singing waitresses. Again if you don't mind the price. It looked like a very expensive experience.
