Let me start by saying that 5 stars isnt enough...this is a 10 star location! I am happy to say I've been able to stay at this amazing location. We are full time RVers and have traveled across the country. We have stayed in more campgrounds and rv parks than I can remember, including military parks. I can honestly say that this is the absolute best place we have EVER stayed! It's beautiful and the owners are beyond fabulous! There truly aren't words enough for me to use to express the kindness, warmth and welcoming feeling they provide every day. If there were more people like them the world would be a better place. The location is perfect for close shopping and easy access to larger areas. The park is quiet and filled with trees..I will always hope I can find a spot for a few days when passing tnrough. Believe me though if your lucky enough to call this place home for a few days or longer if possible then you'll see how amazing it is. We are really truly grateful and have loved our time here.

Peaceful setting in the woods with a small lake where you can walk around or fish. Utilities old but workable. I couldn't connect to wifi. Sites are a bit tight and not super level. Look, it's not a resort, but the value at their price is pretty good and I had a really pleasant stay here.

Called this place today looking for a spot in September. They had spot available. I told the lady on the phone we needed one spot and that we will be racing at a local drag strip that weekend and we were just looking for a place to stay after two long days of racing. She asked how many adults. There’s 5 of us. My husband, myself, our 18 year old son and two of our pit crew members. I was told that they would not allow 5 adults to camp together and denied us a spot. We will take our business elsewhere.

Ok for an overnight. Most Campers are seasonal, park was 95% full so a bit overcrowded. PA $17.50

***Update: 4th visit and gets better every trip! Many new sites, and many have been leveled and new electric installed. Great owners!! We loved it. Only here for a couple of nights this trip, but it was all we needed. Nice lots, full hook ups, good water pressure. We stayed at spot #3. Will be back.

We just rode through to see the campgrounds for a future trip. It was depressing and run down. Most of the campers/rvs were horrible and looked to have been there for a long time, many were green from sitting for so long, we saw 2 that even had makeshift fences. Did not feel safe at all. It's a big no for us.

Convenient location to check out the area. Cheap Cheap Cheap if you have Passport America. $17 a night. Contrary to their website....No Cable and WIFI is "spotty"! The short term spots are a little tight. In response to the owners reply! The short term spots are a little tight. We could not extend our awning all the way. About 2' short. I have attached 3 pics from today, 4/5/2022 showing my search results after Google search Cherokee CG in order! Opened it. Clicked on your website, scrolled down to amenities and...I rest my case. Have a good day!

As for the military discount, can't ask much better than $16.50 however the camper/resident beside us had their car in the way & refused to move it. I was able to maneuver around but shouldn't had to. Then later that night they have a visitor which parked directly behind my rig outside the bedroom. Then someone with numerous light bars drove around like a freaking carnival was in town. No respect whatsoever! Not peaceful nor relaxing. BUT that is what I'm come to expect about most residents in tow behinds. The dryers didn't dry first round, which at $2, should not be the case. The guy did refund my wife money for the extra drying though.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Office is in owners garage. Walking to the the office is debris and other items laying around. We have the paperwork and we told office we had a 32 ft camper. We were sent to a site so small our camper won't fit. Campground is run down and looks nasty
